Motel centrally placed to local shops etc. Older motel that have been tastefully redecorated. Hosts friendly. Onsite parking. Very good price for 2 bedroom apartment, plus very spacious 80 sqm. Would definitely stay there again. Unit is double glazed so whilst new building site working should minimise noise once piling complete (probably another week or two).

Out of motel's control - two doors down they were piling new building site. Luckily not on the weekend. However work did start around 7.30am on the Monday. Obviously new builds occurring so imagine there will be working on site going forward.

A nice motel quite close to the city center. Our room had a lounge and two bedrooms which is awesome when traveling with kids. A kitchenette was fairly small, yet had everything we needed. A bright modern shower with an excellent hot water pressure. Super friendly staff.

The cooktop and the dinnerware (especially bowls) were quite small so it was a bit challenging to cook and eat meals. Not a big problem though. Cold water in the kitchen was rather opaque and didn't look potable, no such problem in the bathroom though.

The Manager was exceptionally funny 💯 exceptionally helpful when faced with an unexpected extra person due to transport issues. The room was disability friendly,as I suffered a stroke last year. So the room my husband and I were booked into had a sliding door entry to the bathroom and also had a wet floor Shower at no extra cost to what was advertised. Was truly amazing 10 out of 10. Thank you ❤️ Rosewood Court Motel for the exceptional accommodation. Oh I'd like to also mention that we had a phone call not long after checking out to inform us that there was jewellery left in one of the rooms we booked. So their also TRUSTWORTHY 👍. Love it 😍

There was nothing to dislike

Apartment was very well supplied and bed were comfy

On arrival all the windows were shut tight and the lounge room had a strong smell of cooking. We aired the room and it was fine, until we returned on day 2 and found the windows that we had left open shut tight again. While I appreciate the room being serviced I wish they had left the windows open as we had.

As I changed my schedule here, It happened to be overbooked(Apparently, It's booking.com's fault. Not the motel's). But the owner of the motel was kind enough to get a room from a motel just across the road for me and the room he arranged was nice and huge(with 4 beds). Given that my original booking was just a small studio with 1 bed, I doubt there was any margin for him. Not only that, he waited for me till 11 pm (I arrived quite late that day) so that he can explain what's happened and help me sort it out. Since I didn't stay at this motel, I can't confirm the room conditions, But I can guarantee that the owner(or staff. not sure. He was a Korean gentleman) is very kind and willing to take the extra step to help you.

Great location! Only a few minutes from a shopping center with petrol station, bakery, fish and chips, and supermarket. Nice staff and clean room that was exactly what we needed. Was nice having a oven and hob. The hob worked well and got nice and hot quickly. The spa bath and shower were lovely and the shower head was big and had good pressure.

The frying pans provided are rather scratched and have no non stick. Worked well enough though we didn't get any cooking oil and there was none provided, though that's something we should have planned around.

The Cereal bowls were too small. It was difficult to mix in fruit and yoghurt into our cereal bowl. It needed to be a deeper bowl/dish Turning the car out of the car space provided was not an easy task for us. It took numerous maneouvers to get the car out safely without hitting the building or other vehicles. We were driving a Mazda CX5

We really enjoyed our stay at Rosewood Court. Our little room had everything we needed, and the bed was very comfortable. Location is perfect just a 20 minute walk into central Christchurch, with other amenities (takeaways, supermarket, etc) just a 5 minute walk away. The hosts were also incredibly friendly and helpful. Laundry facilities were also much appreciated. Thank you!

Clean tidy rooms. Serviced daily. Left the dishes to air dry after washing them, with the intention of drying and putting away when we came back. Found them all done for us. Close to city centre, walking distance to local supermarket. Quiet, even though some construction work going on up the road.

The shower was brilliant, a lovely massaging flow. Good heating, didn't take long to warm the room. Plenty of electric outlets for charging devices.

The blinds over the door didn't cover the window completely. We hung a towel to give us more privacy. A hand rail in the shower could be something to consider for those that might be a little wobbly.
