We were a group of friends staying overnight on our way to walk the Pahi Coastal walk. We booked several rooms and had the whole place to ourselves which was great. We loved the communal lounge and kitchen areas and it meant we could easily make our lunches to take with us for the first day of our walk. Judy and Gerard were wonderful hosts. The breakfast was exceptional. Homemade muesli and breads and also fruit from their garden and yogurt and condiments. Also coffee and tea. The location was very handy as we had cars to drive the 5 mins into Coromandel village for dinner. Plenty of parking

We had such a nice stay - a true authentic B&B experience. Judy and Gerard are really friendly hosts who we really enjoyed chatting to, and they provided great local knowledge for walks and things to do in the area. Excellent location on a lovely property and a short drive into Coromandel town for cafes/restaurants, our room had a very comfy bed, and delicious breakfast with homemade breads and fruits from the property. If you’re staying in Coromandel, look no further than Jacaranda Lodge!

The gardens were beautiful and the property was quiet. Had some great chats with the owner, and he recommended a great local restaurant for dinner. Check in and out was very easy and there was heaps of space to park.

There were some residents staying at the same time who had covid, and we had a shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. Breakfast was lovely, but no hot food, only toast/cereal/yoghurt (which was all delicious though).

We travelled from UK to NZ and our first stay was here in Coromandel , Gerrard and Jill made us very welcome and the breakfast outside was a bonus ( the weather when we arrived was wet) , but this was nothing to do with the hosts who made up for the poor weather. We would recommend Jacaranda lodge to all.

There was nothing we didn't like, we only stayed one night, and would have liked to stay longer.

We absolutely loved everything about this place! The landscape is stunning, the breakfast is amazingly delicious, but above all: Judy and Gerard (and Millie of course) are amazing hosts! We loved to chat with them about all sorts of things and they were very helpfull when we had to wait a bit longer for our new rental car to arrive after check out times. They really made us feel home away from home. Thank you for everything. We would love to come back one day in the future.

The location was excellent, just a few km from Coromandel. The room was clean and had all the usual facilities. Breakfast was served outdoors at 8:30am each morning and it was communal, which we really liked. The food was all home made and delicious. There is plenty of space available and a really big lounge, but we actually didn't use it as we were out and about so much.

We didn’t like leaving. We only had two nights and we should have stayed longer; there is so much to do in The Coromandel peninsula.

Judy and her husband were the nicest people. Just the best hosts you could ever have. They made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The breakfast they gave us was incredible, everything homemade, bread, delicious fruit juice, homemade crispy muslie, homemade fresh fruit salad, eggs etc DELICIOUS. They sat down and chatted with us. The perfect place to go before doing the Pahi Coastal walk for 3 days. The rooms were clean fresh, light and spacious. The whole experience was lovely. Thanks so much to you both.

The place was well located, the room was large and comfortable, and the owners were very friendly and helpful. The house has several large rooms for guests to relax in, and a well equipped kitchen to make a snack or cook a meal. The breakfast was lovely homemade food served outside with the other guests, giving us a great opportunity to meet people and share info.

Coromandel town a little boring. Was interested in surfcasting fishing but was difficult to get easy access to do that. Atrocious roads,very narrow..

The breakfast was absolutely delicious, homemade granola, bread, apple juice and jam - a real treat. The bedroom was very comfortable, quiet and spotlessly clean. There is a kitchen for the guests to use which is very handy too.
