Decent sized room with adequate furniture. Our room was a reasonable distance to walk to the toilet in the middle of the night…my advice ( for what it’s worth) pay more and get a room with a bathroom, they are much better with good facilities and towel provided….there is no towel with the rooms with shared bathroom use.

Next to a dorm room which was full and quite noisy and one of them sat on the chair outside our room and talked on the phone for almost an hour. There’s a stand alone toilet ( which is needed as the others are in with the showers so quite often in use) but has no hand washing facilities.

The lodge has a great chilled out vibe and the grounds were beautiful to spend time in. We extended our stay and used Tui Lodge as a base to explore the Coromandel which was a great decision. The bunk beds were comfy and the rooms were well ventilated and clean. There are two kitchens and several contained showers and loos so it was easy to have your own space and enjoy your dinner in one of the many seating areas. There were horses in the field adjacent to the lodge and they came up to say hello. Beyond their field was a view to the water and a great sunset view.

There was only one laundry machine and there wasn't an easy way to store food in the kitchen (other than the fridge) so we kept ours in our room. The wifi was unreliable so this made our admin attempts hard - we ventured in to town instead only to find that internet isn't great in the area in general!

Not only the place was beautiful, but the owner was so kind and helpful! The tui lodge is definitely one of the best places we have stayed so far. Simple, clean, quiet, affordable. Although the place has quite a few rooms, it never felt busy. You have 2 kitchens and several toilets around the area. It never gave me the "hostel impresion". Frances has a beautiful dog too! Her name is Nala, we love heeer! During a rainy day she also gave us some recommendations to hand around and to eat.. great!!!!

Room was clean and beds were comfy. Shared bathrooms and kitchen were located relatively closely. Outside seating available for a particularly warm day was nice. Quiet location.

Car parking was further from the room than expected, which made it a bit more difficult to carry luggage, particularly for someone in our travel group with mobility issues. Turns out someone else was parked on the grass just across from our room, which would have suited us.

Beautiful rural setting and close to Coromandel Town, good base for exploring the Peninsula. Relaxing gardens with great seating areas plus garden room with barbecue, spaces for quiet down time and communal social gatherings. Great rooms, wide very comfortable bunks, good space between, all facilities well above standard, excellent car parking.

The facilities were great, easily accessible and the water temperature in the showers was nice and hot! Beds were comfy and clean, and overall everything was in top shape :)

The only thing that could be improved was an availability of towels for showers, and a possible availability of basic shower gel/shampoo in the bathrooms. I was able to use my own items but it would have been nice to have that as an option in case I had run out!

We had a room with double bed and shared bathroom and we enjoyed our stay very much. Our room was located in a quiet corner and looked out onto a garden area where we were visited by birds and a duck, so cute. It is easy to get there by car and there is enough parking space. It is a bit outside the village but not far. Everything was clean and the host was really nice. We would have loved to stay a bit longer.

There was only one negative aspect at this accomodation. The Wifi was not working properly. I could log in, but it never did anything. My husband was able to use some websites, but many websites didn't work. It was really strange and a bit frustrating. Fortunately we have a sim with a lot of data coverage.

We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere at the lodge. Our room was pretty and the bed was perfectly comfortable. We enjoyed staying here for our long weekend away. Good value for our money. Good friendly service.

That the bicycles they have for guests are useless, flat tires and rusted, would have loved to use them, thats just a bonus anyway, we were happy with our stay and the service.

This was such a delightful place to stay. Everything was close by to our room, bathroom, kitchen, garden, seating area, washing machine and car park. All clean and tidy. All well equipped and functional. Room was comfortable. Shower was hot. Gardens were great to sit in. Loads of easy chairs to relax. Close to the town and shops. Lovely coffee shops in town. Would definitely recommend here.

We loved this spot. It was remote enough to get a jaw dropping night sky of stars above us, but still very close to the town and the main road. The layout is great with lots of outdoor seating too. Our room did get lots of ants in it in the morning, but that was our fault for leaving some food on the floor in a bag! We also fell in love with the little golden retriever puppy. Our host also dealt with unruly guests very professionally too. This was a rare occasion for sure.
