I like the spaciousness of the unit. The spa pool is amazing as was the view of the sea from my upstairs unit.

I have stayed here before on quite a few occasions. At check in you used to be handed a basket containing fresh milk, orange juice, crackers and cheese and chocolates. It made you feel special and was a major point of difference with other motels. Now you just get a box of UHT milk thrust at you when you check in. I always enjoyed the luxury of this motel so it is sad to see them looking a little tired with maintenance not being kept up. There was a window catch off on the bathroom window and the kitchen tap was very loose. It is a shame because I recommended this motel to many people but I will be reluctant to do so now.

We thought this place was lovely. The room was spacious and so was the bathroom, which also had lovely toiletries supplied. It was really clean and looked quite new. The room had its own heat pump which was great. We didn't hear any noise from neighbours and the room had a lovely sitting area inside and a table with chairs on the outside balcony. We went out each day about mid morning and when we came back in the afternoon our bed had been made, towels replaced, rubbish bins emptied and any dishes done. It was great service. Would definitely stay again.

There was a kitchen rubbish bin which was in one of the cupboards which we only found on our last day. It would be great if this was left outside so guests knew it was there.

How close it was to all things fun for a 4 year old! It was comfortable, warm, and had AC which was great to cool down the room! The spa was amazing - my 4 year old had a blast being able to watch tv and feel like a princess while enjoying it! The twin bedroom at the back meant my daughter got a full nights sleep without the traffic! There was plenty of tea and coffee, and all the staff were friendly especially with my inquisitive child say hello to them every time they walked past.

The noise of the street - however it’s understandable being on the parade so it wasn’t a huge dislike!

I walked into the room and was amazed about how big it was. I remember thinking how annoying it was that I was only there for one night. Each room has a spa bath which, because I was so busy I never got to use. The balcony looking over the shore was beautiful. I would definitely stay here again. Very well situated too.

I wish they had details of the wifi inside the room. By the time I checked in the staff had gone and I couldn't find the wifi code. I noticed later it was posted in the lift but in the room is the place it should be.

Very spacious room with small but functional kitchen. Comfortable king bed. Fridge larger than usual mini bar you often get. Pots, pans, utensils all in good order and clean. Spa bath was also clean. We had a car so getting around was easy. Max 5mins to large supermarkets, restaurants etc. First impression was the room is a bit outdated, however as you settle in, everything was in good order and clean. We would definitely return and recommend to family members staying in the area.

Prefer a physical safety latch on door.

The best value for money place we've ever stayed at. It was spacious, clean and had a great view. Easy walk to the supermarket and fun things to do at the beach nearby for the kids (junior bike track and playground). Honestly the price was astounding for what you get, as a family of five.

The only thing that could have been a slight problem is that the fridge in our room needed a push to close properly. So kids or unobserving adults may have left it open by accident and I don't know if it would have been the kind of fridge to beep to let us know. But it's a miniscule downside to all the positives of our stay.

I think they meant there was a 'swimming pool' in the unit, not a spa! It was huge! And kept its heat for at least several hours. The sea and sunrise view were exceptional. I've only had a couple of other such magnificent views from hotel or motel accommodation. The unit was spotless with ample crockery and bathroom type things. We loved everything about the place and space.

Just because I have to find something to complain about, I will instead make a suggestion that parking be better marked. The driver parked next to me parked across 2 car parks. I could partly understand why and I do know that he arrived when it was fairly dark however, it only took a quick look to notice that maybe he'd taken up 2 car parks.

Clean spacious rooms with an amazing view and the spa is huge !! All the staff we crossed paths with gave a big smile and hello everyday Was really nice to come back to our room at the end of the day and it had been refreshed Suggestion ~ some fluffy bathrobes would be perfect when getting out of the spa 😊

Unfortunately, the verandah/balcony wooden furniture gets very wet and has mould so couldn't utilise this space. I'm sure it's glorious in the warmer months

I loved the spa bath and the rooms layout. Having the kids beds together in a separate room was great, and having the basic kitchen facilities were a great advantage especially having the kids too! We had an awesome stay and the kids were happy! :)

The TVs weren't smart TVs or no Chromecast etc so only had basic tv channels which made it a bit boring for the kids, but we made do! And also the beds weren't the most comfortable to say the least, and the cleanliness could be better but nothing to really complain about or put us off coming to stay here again.

The staff at check-in were fab all the information we needed. The room No.16 overlooked the beach and was amazing with the balcony. The size of the room was on the large side, and the fully fitted kitchen and bubble bath were a big plus. A 15 min walk to the art deco centre for the start of our art deco tour was perfect. Then, a stroll back along the promenade made the perfect end to our 1 night stay x Will definitely book again when we visit Napier. Value for money ....
