Location was great and wasnt a noisey as I would have thought. Bed was comfy and the unit was spotless. Air con was great and the guy on the desk was very welcoming. Cleaning staff were nice when I approached them for towels too.

Really needed a plate and knife was quite annoying not to have a simple items available also parking is very limited which makes you hesitant to leave you parking spot in the evening for fear of no where to park on return.

The location and the views, Salt restaurant was excellent for our Valentines dinner, but expensive. There was a lift to transport cases from the car park to the penthouse apartment (I don't think a lift was mentioned). The bed was comfortable. The housekeeping staff were very good and topped up the washing up liquid, towels were changed and room cleaned on a daily. Pharmacy, Post Office, Medical Centre, Bakery/cafe were all within walking distance.

Limited car parking space on site. The road outside was very noisy, with heavy lorries transporting lumber to the Port. There is also a rail line which was only used a few times to transport lumber. The decor of the apartment is starting to look a bit tired, the dishwasher did not clean the crockery and the toilet cistern continued to fill with water after flushing. A handyman did attempt to fix the toilet, but it continued to be a problem. There was a lot of dust on the shelves in the laundry cupboard, my husband placed his clothes in there and they came out dirty.

We had a big, modern room with comfy chairs, a wonderful bed, and the best shower water pressure we've found on the North Island. The wifi worked well, and the ceiling fan was good for keeping the room cool at night. The hotel's location is unbeatable: across the street from the seafront walk, next to the terrific Puke Ariki museum, and a few blocks from the restaurant strip on Devon Street. We were lucky to snag one of the limited parking spaces in the hotel's lot, so we left the car there and went all over town on foot.

The shower stall leaked water onto the bathroom floor. There was some street noise late at night, even with the windows closed.

Lovely getaway for us. Room was a good size for two people. Really comfortable bed and the shower was really good. Nice view and nice to have air con available for comfort. Staff were lovely to deal with. Lovely location as got to see some lovely sunsets by just crossing the road.

Parking was not the best with very few parks so first in first serve. Restaurant the meals were lovely as were the staff but a bit expensive and not many options for those watching what they eat. Spa bath needs updating as well as the sink in the bathroom. We had an issue with the mirror being really hot, we dont know why and brought this to their attention as the heat made the bathroom feel stuffy and the mirror almost had a hazey look to it. Hopefully it does get checked out as the mirror was even hot when the lights were not even on. The elevator needs air con in it or a fan, so stuffy in there.

Fantastic location, we could easily walk to many great restaurants or to get takeaway food, shopping, art galleries, museum, and waterfront. The staff were awesome, so friendly and helpful. Everyone including the check-in, housekeeping and restaurant staff were amazing. The room was a really good size, had bath and shower and sound proofing was excellent. We had a small balcony and the view to the sea was lovely. The breakfast at the in-house restaurant, Salt, was delicious and the view out to sea beautiful.

The only thing that could have been better was the internet speed. I take a lot of holiday snaps and the speed was too slow to upload photos to the cloud. We couldn’t fault anything else.

The breakfast menu was comprehensive and the food was of very good quality.

We stayed for two nights and on returning to our room on the first morning…..our room had not been serviced properly at all. The bed had been made-in a fashion! The bins had not been emptied and the complimentary toiletries had not been replenished. I mentioned this to reception where no apology was made …only our room number written down. I had hoped that something may have been said on check out but alas …no. This really disappointed me as the location, room and staff were pleasant apart from this hiccough.

Central to the city, and next to the promenade. Simple reception, fabulous room. Amazing shower, exceptionally clean room throughout. Beds and linen spotless. Hard working staff. Arrived around 6pm, reception staff busy helping the dinner service, quickly came and checked us in. Some hotels can have very fancy receptions but rooms are very tired. The rooms in the Millennium were great. Would definitely stay there again. The hotel restaurant Salt was excellent.

The location and apartment were really lovely.

Would not recommend the in house restaurant which was a let down food was average prices high. and on the last morning we though that we would bit the bullet and go and have breakfast only to discover that there were customers delivering food to tables as the wait was long and a number of unhappy people. We left

Spacious room, big comfortable bed, lounge chairs with footstools. Dressing gowns! Very nice bathroom. Spa bath. Heat pump/air con. Definitely a touch more luxurious than average. Everything spotlessly clean. The location is very convenient for shopping, dining out, bars, the coastal pathway, the museum. Pleasant staff.

Not much of a "sea view". Small glimpses of the sea between trees off to the side of the building. (See photo). Still, it was nice to be very close to the sea, and to be able to see that.

Really well located right on the waterfront. A few minutes walk to restaurants and bars, Len Lye art gallery etc. Nice whole in the wall coffee place across the road. Large room with small balcony. We were very happy with the hotel. There is only one lift, but the hotel is only three flights if you don't want to wait. Lovely helpful staff.

Honestly I thought the hotel was the best value for money and I was very happy. I would stay here again.
