The decor / style of the room. The staff / owner was very kind, chatty, helpful and informative of things on the property. Loved the breakfast selection and way the area and items were presented. Thank you so much for catering to my dietary requirements.

Not a dislike, but would have liked some guidance about the pool when the owner is not around. As went to use the pool and the robot cleaner was doing its thing, and wasn’t I sure if it was okay to be in the pool at the same time or wait til it was finished. Would just be a good idea to have a note by the pool to let the user know what to do or not do when cleaning is in process.

It was an amazing and beautiful place. It was the perfect place for me to get ready for our wedding and we even took advantage of the garden for our first look photos. Very handy to walk to the main Paraparaumu Beach shop area. Our wedding venue was at the Paraparaumu Beach Golf Club and this venue was perfectly located. The owners of the property were amazing to deal with, super helpful, and had the room well setup for us. We were in the Serengeti Unit and it had enough space for my photographer, make-up artist, and hairdresser to help me get ready.

Everything was perfect.

We had a delightful stay at Tudor Manor. The room was clean and comfortable with a modern ensuite. The wee breakfast nook was charming and fully stocked with everything you could wish to eat for a continental breakfast We enjoyed a couple of hours relaxing by the pool and getting in/out of the spa An added bonus was that it is only a short walk to 50/50 restaurant where we had a booking for dinner. I recommend Tudor Manor as an excellent place to stay

Beautiful large room and four poster bed, huge bathroom. Lovely small kitchenette and continental breakfast items in a walk-in cupboard. Private with own access. Quiet cul-de-sac location. Friendly, helpful host. Good location for walking down to the beach, shops and restaurants. Lovely gardens. Such a shame we didn't have time to make use of it or the pool and hot tub.

Be aware of the need to carry cases up the external stairway for this room.

Breakfast was good though a top up of the ground coffee would have been good for the second morning as we didn’t have sufficient to make a plunger. Had tea instead which was fine but would have preferred coffee.

The room was very comfortable but we could hear the guests above on the second morning it wasn’t too disturbing but did wake us.

Great quiet location, easy to find, very handy to the beach, Excellent selection of breakfast cereals, toast, butter, jam and marmalade, orange juice and bottled water. 4 types of tea, drinking chocolate and 2 types of coffee. We stayed in the Serengeti suite and it was beautifully done. There are toys, books, magazines if you need them and a TV. The rooms are large and tastefully decorated.

Can't think of anything. Everything was supplied, more than what we expected.

Great choice of breakfasts in the room (we were in the Bordeaux room). Property is in a quiet cul-de-sac, with spacious garden, spa and pool. Would definitely stay there again next time we head up the Kapiti coast. !0 mins walk to the centre of Paraparaumu, parking onsite, thank you Simon and Shelli!

I can't think of anything we didn't like, it was a really relaxing staycation.

We stayed in the Serengeti suit, which was beautifully appointed, spacious, and had an African theme. Having a lounge separate from the bed room is very nice. The continental breakfast was provided in the kitchenet in the suite, which was convenient. We could eat to our own time table. The unit was very clean. Having a pool and spa on site was a very nice extra, which we really enjoyed.

This suite was not suitable if you have mobility issues, as it is up quite a steep flight of steps. Also, we were there during a heat wave, and the only cooling was a fan. The windows didn't open up very far to help with cooling.

The breakfast included a litre of orange juice and milk, bread with butter, jam, honey, a selection of cereals, teas, and coffee. They were already there in the room, so if you arrive late and tired you could even eat them for dinner. I requested a sofa bed to be made on arrival, and Peter made it straight away (thank you). Two heaters kept us warm all night.

Comfortable bed, well equipped room with good facilities. Very close to Marine Parade for catching the ferry over to Kapiti Island. The owner was very helpful.

It was a long walk from the railway station, and unfortunately buses are not that frequent. The outside sensor lights were frequently activated during the night so may need to be adjusted for sensitivity?
