The motel has a unique style with upstairs for sleeping and a double bed downstairs. The unit was private with a small patio. Great sun through huge windows and it provided easy accessibility to shops and restaurants all within walking distance.The host was friendly and accommodated an early arrival off the early ferry at 1pm.

The top level mezzanine git a bit hot but windows provided ventilation. We liked everything and have stayed here before.

Well equipped. Warm. Spacious.

We had showers In the morning. A normal average 7 minute shower. My son had a shower first 5 minutes then I put my two grandsons in together for 7 minutes. The water started to go cold on them at the end of their shower. Then I got in to have my shower thinking it should be warm enough for a quick shower but it was cold. This was only the third shower. There should be enough hot water for 5 people to have a shower each. The room accommodates 5 people and should service 5 people.

Beds were comfy and linen was lovely and fresh. The location was perfect for our event at the Kapiti Boating Club, and the room had everything we needed.

The closest power point to the mirror was under the desk and we had to move the mirror to make our straighteners etc reach. Would have been great to have power next to the mirror or even better, one in the bathroom. The bathroom while clean, had peeling paint and a stain on the shower curtain. In saying this, the unit (in its entirety) was still great value for money.

Motel needs some upgrades, no towel rails in the bathroom, and the bathroom could do with an upgrade heated towel rails, curtain around the shower so the whole bathroom doesn'tget soaked when showering , as with the bench area real lack of room especially if staying a while. Overall, the motel needs some upgrades.

Balcony overlooking garden. Sunny and bright room. Big bathroom with bath as well as shower over bath.

Access between driveway and road a problem for a low slung car. My car has low profile tyres. Road to gutter very steep drop and steep rise up driveway. Because gutter sits so low between road and driveway each time my car scraped its bumper and undercarriage on the upslope both in and out as front wheels went into dip. Council needs to address this issue of access.

Very easy to book and the owner even stayed late to accept our arrival due to our flights being delayed. Lovely man and the room was warm,quiet and inviting

Wasn't happy with the old fashioned bath with shower over it and plastic shower curtain. Also electric blanket had a damaged wall plug actually in wall..with black burns very visible. Possibly caused when bed linen was being renewed and bed pushed back on it. Owner was very very apologetic.

The ground floor location, spacious outside balcony The very courteous helpful staff, the regular replenishment of towels coffee tea etc.

Leaking taps in bathroom and kitchen. Lack of towel rails or "bench space" in the bathroom Lack of cooking dishes for microwave. Lack of sharp knife.

Great little motel near the beach and shops and 1 minute from the golf course Room 15 was so comfortable and such good value - really good mattress and sheets- so comfortable! Such a nice welcome from reception Fresh milk for our morning tea We will recommend to anyone visiting for a lovely stay

Distance from the beach, and shops, nice and clean, good rate for groups. And ample parking space!!! :D

can get a bit noisy when people move about; needs a bit more cooling for the inside room but there was a fan provided; not facing the beach but distance to was not too bad.

We stayed in room 15. The room was spacious with a kitchen, bathroom and lounge area.along with a balcony to sit out side. The wall paper was beautiful. Very quite rooms.

We loved the accommodation, we normally choose a room with a spa but this time we were happy not having a spa.
