Very comfortable room with everything needed. We had expected twins, so when we found it was actually a 2 bedroom unit, we were delighted. An easy walk to town, restaurants & port (the walking track at the port is recommended).

The only thing that I disliked was the bowls that were more like a deep plate. I like muesli in the morning and these weren't ideal - the kind of thing that can't make up their mind whether they are a bowl or a plate. Small stuff I know, and it was the only thing the got my attention. I'd stay again without hesitation.

Friendly welcome on arrival and a very comfortable bed. The room and kitchen was well equipped and was clean and well maintained. They even provided ground coffee and a cafetiere, so you could make proper fresh coffee. They also had Hot Chocolate and a selection of teas available plus fresh milk. We'd highly recommend this Motel.

Not the Motels fault. We were woken at 4am by a siren, which turned out to be the local fire alarm that calls out the retained fire fighters. It would have been worth this being mentioned in the Motel information pack, just for peace of mind.

The Wife & I had a quite modern 2 Bedroom apartment which had a BIG BATHROOM with a Spa/Bath/Shower set up. Whilst we didn't use the Spa, the Shower was First Class with terrific hot water & pressure. I'd even go as far as saying "the best shower on the West Coast of NZ" & that's important when you consider how cold it can get on the West Coast. A well set up Kitchen enables you to easily prepare your meals. Our preference was to buy pre-made, ready to heat meals from the nearby Coles Supermarket & just Micro-wave them to the desired temperature. If you've got some USA Style Reverse Park experience, that'll stand you in good stead if you draw a Unit where a Right Hand-Side reverse park is needed. But I will say this regardless of the style of Reverse Parking needed, we have never experienced parking so close to your apartment front door, it was a case of just open the rear of the SUV & place the luggage inside the front door. A lovely apartment to spend a holiday in.

Our first night I tried the Main Bedroom TV but found it turned off at the wall behind the TV itself, a wee bit strange I thought. However once I turned it on all was good. That was until I turned it off with the remote at bedtime, the TV itself must not have wanted to sleep, because it stayed on with a low glow & a makers logo bouncing around the screen. It was then I realized why it was turned off at the wall, a minor problem to remedy but I am a retired Electrician.

What a fantastic little motel located in the centre of town run by a wonderful older couple who treated us like family . The room was super clean and very well appointed . Breakfast was supplied in the old fashioned way on a tray to your room , so good to see old fashioned service these days , the way it should be and the room rates were excellent , Highly recommend this motel .

Reception greeted us in a friendly manner. They provided milk and shortbread, the cookies were very yummy. The gentleman in reception was more than happy to advise on some places to visit. The accommodation itself was clean and well equipped. Very comfortable.

The shower head was a bit tricky to adjust. The smaller double and single bed were too soft for our liking.

Super comfortable bed, firm. Fresh baked short bread biscuits on arrival, bottled water in fridge, and topped up on second day. Guiet, didn't seem to hear much road traffic. Torch in cupboard, not seen that one before. Very clean. No surcharge when paying by bankcard., 3 week road trip in SI, 7 motels and the only one not to change.

Very comfortable beds, clean and warm. Bonus that it had a plug outside to charge our PHEV. Staff were friendly and the resident cat charming. Bathroom was spacious and had a plastic chair in it which was great for my elderly parents. The delicious home made shortbread on arrival was a bonus!

It is right in the main street. We can find it easily. Bathroom is spacious. Livingroom and dinningroom are also large. Culinaries are quite enough, even I can ask for a rice cooker.

Kitchen is small and right in the main door, so if someone is cooking, it is little inconvenience going in and out. Standing shower is only with a curtain so after showering, the whole bathroom floor is almost wet.

Short walk to restaurants and shops, complementary shortbread was homemade and delicious. Parking in front of the room was still spacious even with another car in the adjacent spot.

The TV was wall mounted above the luggage rack but still had the stands attached, so got a few bumps on the head and forehead when packing and unpacking.

The greeting was very welcoming and friendly. The studio unit we booked was so clean,well equipped with lots of extras for eg,umbrella.,fly spray and swat.The information booklet that they had put together was full of lots of extra information. Also had a noticeboard with more information. Well done to the owners.

The only thing I thought could do with an upgrade would be the bowl supplied to wash dishes in (as there wasn't a sink)could be a bit bigger. Just a minor gripe.
