The staff were very friendly, the cleanliness of the room was amazing. We also had our room serviced and it was so great to walk back into our room with our bed made, fresh towels and they also restocked our cookies (which was greatly appreciated ☺️).

The bed was quite uncomfortable. We were in the ‘DAN’ room and we noticed that there was a camera on the newer units across from us pointing directly into our room(which we didn’t appreciate as we had our curtain shut most of our stay because of this). On our second night there was a lot of noise and racket coming from the other rooms, even with the bar below you couldn’t hear them but the other guest were very loud during our second night.

Cleanliness, location short walk and you were in town or you could walk to the pub and have a meal and a beer, Staff and ample parking with space for Utes and other big vehicles

Cost, was over pried in our opinion

The location was great and the size of the room and shower/bathroom was excellent. I will definately stay here again.

The only thing I didn't like is whatever they use to fragrance the room - almost every motel I go to smells the same and it is strong and overpowering. Also I'd like a safety latch on the bathroom window, I would have like to leave it open to let out some of the "motel fragrance", there was also another window in my room which I would have left open if the safety latch enabled it to be closed a little more - if that makes sense. As I was travelling on my own I didn't want to risk leaving windows open during the night where people if they really wanted to, could have got in. Probably highly unlikely but you never know.

This place feels brand new, fresh and clean with almost individual "pods" stacked together. This means you have no immediate neighbour which is hugely appealing, but the rooms aren't small. They have a generous sized bed and spacious relaxing space, with spotless bathroom, decent sized shower, great pressure. We particularly appreciated the air con on the really hot summer days we were there, as well as lovely bright airy room to relax in. Not too far from Ohope beach and a short walk into town. Pub right next door is not noisy and the food is ok.

Very nice stay, pretty well on the wharf, the room was modern and had what was expected, staff were great, very accomodating and knowledgeable on things to do in the area. Bar/ restaurant on the property. There’s a nice little waterfall literally behind the complex; great place for a little picnic or just to keep the kids entertained for a bit. Also a kids playground/ water park/ swimming area (Public/ Free) 2min drive down the road, 10-20minute walk depending on pace.

No laundry on site to wash our clothes but there was a public one just a short walk away.

We all thought the room was wonderful. The only negative was that the shower floor was a little too flat and it didn't have much of a slope to it. The water tended to seep out into the bathroom if we did not put a towel on the ground. The owners are aware of the issue, and trying to get it fixed. They said it was just taking longer than they had hoped. That would not stop me from staying there again. It was convenient, clean, and quiet.

Well, I already noted the shower floor above... that was the only negative about this place. I will stay there again.

The location is fantastic with The Comm restaurant right next door and the main street a 2 minute walk away. Spotlessly clean, comfy rooms. Lovely, friendly staff. It was pouring down so it was handy being able to park right outside our room. The double bed plus two singles suited our family of four. Easy checking in and out. The Comm restaurant has a different special on each night - we recommend eating and staying there. A 10/10 experience thanks! We'll be back!

Lovely and clean. Great bedding. Easy carparking. No road noise when doors shut. We appreciated the cold water in the fridge and the chocolates. Make sure you see the waterfall behind the motel. Lot of history. We ate at the restaurant onsite. Very good. The locationnis good and easy to walk to the shops and wharf.

The shower in unit 1. It went all over the floor and we were worried it would wet the carpet so popped a towel down. Also really tricky having no bathroom vanity top.

The place was in a good location at the end of town. The place are exactly like the photos. Very clean and the shower pressure was amazing. There is also A/c to keep us cool as well. The unit are, well spaced to minimize noise from the neighbour's. Friendly staff.

We had a good sleep but If your a sensitive sleeper and go to bed early. If your unit is closer to the street. You may have a bit of noise from the bar on the corner, but they close early around 10pm

We enjoyed everything about the Complex Motel as it is in a great location, with plenty of parking, very central to the main street and within walking distance to everything. The unit was very comfortable and warm with everything needed for a memorable stay. Owners were so friendly and welcoming as well.
