The property is in excellent condition and the room was spacious. We can confirm all the other reviews that say the bed is very comfortable :-). The area is very quiet and yet within walking distance from the main street, where one can find decent restaurants and a couple of nice coffee shops (the mischief café is highly recommended). Best of all, the couple managing the motel are extremely friendly and helpful, and we had a couple of very pleasant chats with them. Thank you for making our stay all the more pleasurable!

Nothing not to like

What a fabulous place! Absolutely spotless, and I am very fussy about cleanliness. Beautiful furnishings and decor. Well equipped kitchen (if you felt like cooking) and excellent choice of teas, coffees and hot chocolate. Coffee pod macine as well as real coffee and a plunger, a coffeeholics dream! Loads of fluffy towels and really comfy bed and quality linen. Very short drive to the main street and excellent choice of nearby eateries.

Nothing, would like to have stayed longer.

I received the friendliest welcome and was pleasantly surprised by the interiors in our studio. It's in a great location, very quiet, close to shops and ample parking. There was no AC but a heater and fan were in the room so that sufficed. An added bonus was the Netflix streaming facility which was great as we don't watch much normal TV now.

The bed was a little firm for me (but tbh, most hotel beds tend to be), but I slept ok.

Wonderful place to stay in Whanganui. Beautiful property close to the main road with shopping and restaurants, but far enough away to be quiet in the evenings. The hosts were super nice and had lots of recommendations for things to do in the area. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Really beautifully appointed with tea/coffee facilities and a full kitchen with a small dining area. Everything in the room was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was spacious with a powerful shower. It really felt like home and I wish I would have been able to extend my stay.

Great location just off the Main Street. Accommodation was very clean, beds were so comfortable and beautifully presented and loved all the special furnishing touches in our unit. Excellent choice of refreshments in the room, lots of cooking utensils to enable in room catering and all cutlery and crockery well presented. It was the little touches that make all the difference- thank you for a most enjoyable stay.

We had just received some family news that was not good and the management was so very supportive. When we had to change plans they were most helpful and caring. The facilities are modern and the units have everything needed. Even though the complex is close to Whanganui's main Road it is quiet, A most pleasant place to stay

Easily the best appointed motel we have ever stayed in. The Reception building and Rooms were all very nicely decorated and the rooms themselves felt like something from a decent hotel - Living room area, large tv with group Netflix access, very nice bed, decent size kitchen area with breakfast bar sitting area and good bathroom. Very nicely decorated - you wouldn't know you were in a motel unless you opened the door.

The host was very friendly and helpful. The place was clean, modern and comfortable. A perfect sanctuary during the rainy days we had. Middle of town but still very quiet and peaceful. Had a microwave. Parking on the premises. You can sit outside but still shaded from sun/ protected from rain.

The showerhead is a water saving type and I think it was turned a bit too 'eco'. My wife couldn't really rinse her hair due to not enough water pressure. (Let that not stop you to rent a room though, it's a great place).

I travelled with my Mother in law and my two girls 8 and 5 the room was a perfect set up for us. We had Unit 1 The decor was so lovely and the place was super clean. We could not have faulted a thing. Upon leaving I looked at a few other rooms that were being cleaned and they all looked so lovely. Would stay agin for sure

A well located quiet property This recently refurbished older property has all there facilities required for a comfortable overnight stay. Very comfortable bed and well equiped kitchen. Supermarkets cafe's and other dining options all within walking distance.

Water pressure in the shower was a little low but not enough to put me off staying again.
