Staff were super accommodating, respectful and friendly (10/10!) On most days, food was delicious. Wide selection of beverages.

Rooms smelled musty when one first checks in. Shower heads in some rooms are loose and have not been repaired despite complaints. Could not eat outside during the day because of the flies. Not all room safes work.

The location was amazing. The food was fantastic. I had the included breakfast option and the breakfast was the reason I woke up early the entire time I was there. It was top notch.

The bathrooms in the first and the second room I had needed work. In the first room the shower head has no hook to hang it so you have to hold on to it while showering. The second room had a bath that didn't drain well. Half way through your shower you're standing in a puddle of water. (I stayed there twice)

Great place to spend a quiet night. Great staff and manager, too. No hotel is perfect, but this one came close for comfort and hospitality. If you fly into Lagos anytime of the day or night, check in here, order room service, and visit the breakfast buffet in the morning to energize yourself for the day. Great value for the price.

I would like the intercom in the rooms to work flawlessly, albeit there's a plan B to communicate through wattsapp.

I liked the ambience a lot. The room, staircase and reception were very neat and I enjoyed my breakfast. Most of all the staff were pleasant and kind. It was money well spent and I’ll definitely comeback when I need to.

It didn’t have an elevator

My stay at Ivy Emerald Hotel was exceptional! The staff were welcoming and attentive, ensuring all my needs were met. The rooms were spotless, with a luxurious yet cozy feel, and the amenities, including the pool and gym, were top-notch. The breakfast buffet was a highlight—delicious and well-varied. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking comfort and quality service.

While my stay at Ivy Emerald Hotel was mostly pleasant, there were a few areas for improvement. The check-in process took longer than expected, and the Wi-Fi signal and the intercom in my room was inconsistent. However, the staff were friendly and tried their best to address the issues promptly. With a few tweaks, this could be an excellent experience.

I checked in much later than planned in the early hours of the morning because flight issues. The staff got in touch to say they were expecting me and were kind enough to offer me a later check out so that I could get some rest. The staff is friendly and the service was good. Breakfast was very nice too. I only stayed a day but I would have stayed longer.

An elevator would be useful in an hotel with many floors! The staff were lucky because my luggage did not arrive with me. They and I would have struggled carrying those heavy luggage to the 3rd floor. Of course they would have succeeded but is it good for their long-term health? I doubt it!

The staff are so friendly! They are all eager to help. It was so wonderful to have things working, and feel comfortable and safe at the hotel while we there in Lagos, having Visa on arrival complications.

I stay at this hotel whenever I visit Lagos and all I can do is say that it's a must for any traveller. The staff are wonderful, the internet is top class, the rooms are a great size, the bed is super comfortable, the hotel is generally clean, the room service food is good. The location is excellent, of which it's 10 mins from the airport and also very easy to get to other parts of Lagos.

The 2 reasons for not giving a 5 star rating are: 1. because there's no lift and I had to climb 2 flights of stairs to get to my room with 2 heavy boxes. The staff were amazing though - they helped me with the boxes going up. And 2: my room was great but there was a horrible stench in the toilet that wouldn't go away.....
