The room we got is very nice & comfortable bed. The Location is very close to shops & restaurants.

It’s close to roadside. Could hear the cars if you open window.

The sea cabin was absolutely beautiful. Very well decorated, warm and cozy with a large flat screen tv. The beds were the most comfortable of our entire trip, and we slept so well. The chocolate on the pillow is a lovely touch. Shower had excellent temperature and pressure, towels provided. Full kitchenette with dishes, silverware, fridge, oven etc as well as sizable dining area perfect for families. There was a dock attached with beautiful water and mountain views. Free parking available right at the door. Communication was excellent and timely. We really loved our stay and would highly recommend. Perfect entry point to Senja.

Everything was great!

The hotel was extremely clean both inside and out, with apartment-style accommodations featuring a cabin-like interior. The rooms were exceptionally tidy and clean. The location was also within walking distance of the town center and shops. The hotel has a small, free parking area for guests right next to the building. Check-in is done via a code sent by text message on the day of arrival. There is no staff on-site, but none is needed. Recommended!

The surroundings of the hotel are a bit untidy (the parking area and nearby shopping buildings), but this is, of course, not the hotel's fault.

I really appreciated being allowed an earlier check-in, it made our arrival much smoother. The WiFi was excellent, which is always a plus! The view from the living room was absolutely fantastic, and the space provided was very generous. The fully equipped kitchen was a great touch and made our stay even more comfortable.

While the mezzanine access was fine for me, I think it could be challenging for guests with mobility difficulties or disabilities. The bathroom had a persistent sewage smell, which was unpleasant. When we arrived, there was a noticeable cigarette smell that had spread to the other rooms. The rooms felt a bit cold and could benefit from the addition of radiators.

Really liked the roof apartment, it was spacious, clean, had a nice sea view (we made some food in the evening and enjoyed the food with a nice view!), and after hiking in Senja and sleeping in our car it was luxurious to sleep in a nice, soft bed and go to a proper shower! All in all I was very happy with the rooftop apartment we rented, the price was decent and the quality was good! No need to deal with passport or people and getting keys since we got a keycode via SMS and email! Very easy and everything went great. There were multiple stores nearby and a nice little park in Finnsnes.

Nothing major, the apartment was bit too hot, I believe maybe it could have been fixed somehow on our part but we were only for a one night so it's okay!

Location just in the water, with huge windows facing the fjord, and direct acces to the terrace. From inside, we saw the northernlights and it was just to put jacket and boots and go out to the terrace to experience an amazing northern lights show. The open area (kitchen, eating room and living room) is incredible. High ceilings and enorm windows to enjoy the view. The kitchen has all the basics needed. It has supermarkets and the center of Finnsned on a walkable distance.

The room was extremely cold, with no heating. The night stayed there was -16 degrees, and it was freezing inside the rooms. The rest of the house was perfectly heated.

Recently-renovated and hence in a very good shape, this place still maintains some old charm. In particular, we thought that the place is very well managed: any questions we had were answered promptly, and any issues we had very handled with utmost care. We really felt that the management wanted to walk the extra mile to make sure we were left satisfied.

While the place itself and the sea-facing garden are beautiful, the other direction is just a parking lot. On the other hand, right outside the parking lot there are all the necessary shops easily accessible.

My second stay at this property I had preferred the main house, but they were totally renovating it at this time I’ll be curious to stay when that’s all finished The cabins have a great view Probably a better value for someone who is going to use all the beds I was staying solo. I only used one bed. I would have liked if a little more attention had been given to making sure there was enough soap, and all the lightbulbs were updated As well, the TV connection to the Internet The host was very nice and came to help when I was having trouble with the stove, which was my error as there was a timer that needed to be turned on before the heating elements worked. I would like to try to stay again and maybe one of the smaller units once it’s renovated

Finsnes Gaard is located in a nice wooden house at the sea. Everything is tidy and new. We booked the „Double Room with Shared Bathroom“ which was at this time labeled with mountain view, however it was actually in the basement without any view (which should be mentioned by now). After some slightly awkward conversions we were changed to a room on the 1st Floor with a lovely view.

At least some „Double room with shared bathroom“ are in the basement with windows facing under the stairs which should be marked much clearer (which it probably is by now).

Good gateway for exploring Senja Island. Parking right out front. Spacious room

Communication by owner could have been better. The code system for the outside main door was down so you needed to turn key to get in. A family from Southeast Asia arrived after I did and was going to take key. I was able to communicate to a younger family member to leave key there for everyone. Nobody knew of this routine in message from owner beforehand. This could have been problematic for me as a photographer in the Midnight Sun as I was out shooting at different hours each day.
