Nice hot breakfast offering with lots of choices. Super friendly and helpful staff. Gorgeous pool and grounds. Restaurant had limited menu but I fully understand why as Covid has made staffing and food product availability a bit difficult . I also understand why they had to close the lobby bar - I hope that, in time, they can reopen it. We had a great time with the kayaks which are free to guests.

Good localization, though it's a 2 usd (per person) ride by taxi, however it's not noisy and it's not far (5-7 mins by cab). Nice views of the surroundings and from the room (if located on 3rd floor). Big swimming pool, however water is not very clear (as also mentioned by many others reviewers). Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. The toilet paper is very soft :)

Breakfast is by far the worst part of accommodation in the hotel: not a big choice, basically only scrambled eggs. There is also a long line of people each morning waiting to be served by extremally slow personnel providing food due to Covid-19 restrictions - this is really annoying if there is nothing good to eat and you need to wait 40 mins for the food while your short day is passing or tour operators are waiting for you at the reception of the hotel. Even room is quite big, it's not ergonomically used and there is no even fridge in the room, not mentioning the tea/coffee facilities. We ordered some food in the restaurant and asked for drinks to be served immediately. Finally they came 30 min later with food (and no drinks) and only after reminding them about it.

Staff was very kind and helpful. Pool, although a little shallow, was large and a nice temperature. Breakfast was plentiful and somewhat varied each day. Manager Jennifer was very responsive and helpful.

A little more variation in breakfast--for example, although scrambled eggs were very well done, could offer fried eggs or boiled eggs. Also, need to fill the fruit area more frequently, it was a little scattered at times. Lounge could use more light in the evening.

All staff members, but especially the lady at reception were super friendly. They also assisted with our transportation to and from the airport. Swimming pool is very nice with multiple baths for small children. Location was perfect for us. Very quiet, but just a short (and cheap) taxi ride from Bocas town.

Breakfast was nothing special. On our first day there was a small buffet and on other days we got a menu to choose from. The hotel could use a bit of renovation. Nevertheless, next time in Bocas we would stay here again!

Property was well maintained. Staff was attentive and helpful. Rooms were large and the beds were extremely comfortable. The ac units worked well. A couple of beach areas were nice. Breakfast buffet was good with several options. Resturant food was ok to excellent depending on what you ordered. We ate there a couple times. The property was about 1.5 miles outside of bocas town. A quick cab ride into town but far enough away to avoid the noise and crowds. If you want a place to relax and chill this is it.

There was a problem with all the pools during our stay. The were unusable. Not sure what the issue was but they were continually draining and cleaning them. Would have liked to take a dip during our stay. Bar ran out of mint so no mojitos.

The bed was super comfy, and our son slept well on the pull-out couch in our suite. Having a large pool right next to the ocean was a great experience. Breakfast was a little different everyday and always both filling and delicious. The staff were great with our son, and there was lots to do with kayaks, pool, volleyball, football, and board games at the hotel. The food from the lunch/dinner restaurant was pretty good though a little expensive (to be expected at a hotel in a touristy location), and a cab ride into town was only $2 per adult.

Pool maintenance could be improved. The large pool got progressively more green as the week went on. For most of the week the water level was below the skimmers so I’m not sure if/how the water was being filtered. The practise of filling the pool using water from one of the other pools seems impractical and inefficient, and the water being pumped from the shallowest pool wasn’t very clean. We still swam in the pool every day, we just made sure to rinse of and shower afterwards really well.

Great swimming pools, very friendly staff (in particular at the pools and beach facilities), good breakfast and solid wifi connection, great location outside of town but still very central

Some evenings there was no parking (due mainly to a film production crew staying at the hotel)

The breakfast was always very good. It was very easy and convenient to get from the hotel to any where in town and around the Island of Bocas del toro.

The Beach and the pool could be much better. The rooms had no fridge, the toilet keep flushing constantly. Some time water goes off during the day.

I was traveling alone, so it was very important to me to feel safe. Which I absolutely did in Playa Tortuga. I was very warmly welcomed from the stuff, especially Ms K. Jiménez was so nice, friendly and very supportive. Immediately I felt like home! The food is tasty. The rooms are big and the bed is very comfortable. My highlight is the balcony with an amazing ocean view. Just fantastic! I would highly recommend it and I am sending my best wishes to K. Jiménez!

its our third time here , this time under new ownership! cant beat the location! not far from town but away from noise! sun hits the pool all day

if i HAD to complain, i would say rooms could be updated but it was clean.
