The water bungalow was amazing, with amazing views and direct access into the sea. The bugalow was very comfortable and the wifi worked well. The staff were very helpful and very friendly. The food in the restaurant is also great, with a bar serving cocktails etc. The bungalow has its own dock, so you can get water taxis directly from your door!

Nothing, it was brilliant

Sea Monkey only has 2 rooms, which is great. Both located on the water, a bit outside Old Banks. The room is big, with a spacious bathroom. We really loved the friendly staff! Always there when U need something or have a question! The terrace is amazing for sunsets.

- The terrace had only 1 chair, should be according to the number of guests. - The breakfast, basic but good and offered by a friendly local woman, is about 5min. walk from Sea Monkey. It would be amazing if they would serve the breakfast on the terrace of the room... - Area wise: in the beginning we felt a bit uncomfortable in the town, we were "afraid" of not to find bars or restaruants... But after a while it turned out to be great! It was the most "local feeling" we had in whole Panama! So don't let this scare U, it is great after all! Firefly is a great restaurant!

The most beautiful view in the Bocas Area! The house faced the water and the ocean breeze was enough to beat the heat.

The view 😍! Very comfortable beds, nice bathroom. There was an issue, but it got solved perfectly so no complaints. We saw dolphins from our room!!

The bungalow

The bungalow on stilts was simple but beautiful, with a very pleasant terrace to enjoy the view and the sun.

The breakfast served in the room was of very poor quality (see photos). There were no drinks (juice, coffee, etc.). The second morning we asked for coffee and we got it. Contact with the hotel manager is via WhatsApp, and there is no physical contact apart from on the day of arrival. Even during check-out, no one came to see us. One evening, we accidentally lost the key to our bungalow. The owner, Lin, started by telling us via WhatsApp that she didn't have a spare. Then, when we asked what solution she proposed, she simply didn't answer! A total lack of seriousness. We wouldn't recommend this establishment, which doesn't take its customers seriously at all and which, once the money has been collected, doesn't go out of its way to ensure that they have a good stay.
