We encountered a delay and arrived in Puno a day later than planned (in the morning instead of the previous evening). The hotel staff was incredibly understanding and accommodating—they allowed us to have breakfast and even applied a discount to our room rate (the delay was due to protests in the country that caused the cancellation of our scheduled bus). The breakfast was excellent, the room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the location was ideal for exploring Puno and the Lake Titicaca region. An excellent choice overall!

The only slight drawback was a foul odor in the bathroom, likely from the drains. It wasn’t a major issue, but it might be worth looking into.

Check-in/Check-out were flexible. Size of the room; quite large Hot water available in shower and heating available in room (not a given in Peru) Location is great, 2 minutes walk from the Plaza de Armas

Water in the shower was a slightly coloured (yellow-ish when taking a bath). Probably some rust in the lines.

We stayed at this lovely hotel twice during our trip to Puno. The room was very spacious, with a small living room and a large bedroom. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful, and breakfast was good. The location is very convenient being close to the main square where the restaurants and shops are. They helped us book a transfer to the nearby airport and were always very friendly. Thank you all for your help and smiles.

The property is located just down the street from the main plaza in Puno and within walking distance of pretty much everything. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and the buffet breakfast was good. The hotel was able to organize a taxi to the Juliaca airport for 120 soles.

The internet was spotty and not very fast. I’m guessing that may be a problem in most of Puno, though.

The location is great and the price point for the hotel was phenomenal. I was 100% stay here again. The breakfast in the morning was excellent, staff at the reception was amazing, and the location of the hotel is right off the main strip. We were close to a number of great restaurants, which the receptionist was happy to point us to. There is tea and coffee available in the lobby free of charge and around the clock.

The beds were a little hard for my personal preference. I didn't have the best night sleep on the bed, but for someone who is a back or side sleeper, I'm sure it would be fine. Overall, I still absolutely recommend the property.

The hotel is situated in a great location near the city centre, surrounded by many shops and restaurants. Breakfast was nice, with a variety of both sweet and savoury options and we really appreciated the availability of the breakfast before 6 am., since we had to leave a little bit earlier.

The place (together with staff) seems a bit formal and reserved, which could seem like you are not very welcomed. But apart from that, it was a nice stay.

The room had a lake view was very clean with heaters making it very comfortable. We returned for another night and stayed in the large room in the courtyard which was very comfortable and especially enjoyed the wood burning fireplace. The restaurant is very good and the staff are wonderful. Many thanks to Carlos for his suggestions on travel and warm welcome to the Hotel. Also we were able to store our luggage overnight to enjoy a trip to Isla del Sol.

Second visit and this time for same price (or a bit less??) I was given a room (Rm 202) that was twice as nice as Rm 201 that I had last time: much bigger, much smarter, huge bed, same lovely squishy pillows, convenient and comfortable chairs - whole thing was super. And the heater worked! Also had a very hot, strong shower. The staff were as kind and helpful as last time. Breakfast is ok.. they cook eggs to order and have an interesting selection of freshly squeezed juices, if limited fresh fruit (grapes). I had quince (membrillo) juice the first time and star fruit (carambola) juice the second time!

I was perfectly happy with my second visit to this rather old fashioned but excellently situated and honest, kindly-staffed hotel.

Enjoyed everything about the property except reception and the restaurant which were both really cold! No heating at all- poor people working behind the desk had jackets, scarves and gloves on! We had an entire in the dining room and were treated to an outdoor gas heater! Such a shame as the rest of the hotel was great! Great location- one block to the main square.

Internet in room 402 was not reachable ! Not possible to work online! And that room was very noisy ! I booked through booking ! I hope that they don’t give the no iciest rooms to booking guests ! Has happened to me before But everything else was fine
