I’ve been going to Anilao for about 2 decades now and it’s a pity I only found out about the resort in this trip. It had everything I was looking for in a resort. Nice, spacious rooms facing the ocean. Smart TVs with fast broadband internet. Food was great too and there were a lot of choices. Service was superb. The property itself felt like they really take the time find out their guests needs before they arrive. In my case, I had 2 dogs with me. One’s a service dog and they coordinated with me asking which types of meals to prepare for them and what ingredients they are allergic to. The resorts looks very well maintained and it was clean all the time. Try the ramball (cocktail). It was perfect for sunset drinks. Really had an amazing time and can’t wait to go back!

They get fully booked quickly so need to plan travels in advance!

Loved everything about our stay — staff were all really nice from check in, restaurant and even the team that arranged our dive. Definitely a place to go for those who want to dive in the area.

Parking will be a little bit of a challenge but that staff will assist you!

We got the sea view suite and it did not disappoint. The spacious desk arrangement provided for a comfortable remote work environment and the wifi accommodated my meetings very well. The expansive balcony provided great views of the sunset over the sea and we also enjoyed the bathtub and provided body soaps. We planned on checking out other dining options but honestly the in-house restaurant fare was delicious, especially the desserts. I love that there was a variety of vegetarian options (even though I am not vegetarian) which were delicious as well. The service was also top-notch and we left a 1000php tip to acknowledge their dedication and effort. I especially enjoyed the way that they catered to my exceeding love of ice in my water. My partner really enjoyed the night dive and island hopping adventures we booked through the resort and she is very excited about the prospect of specializing in underwater photography which is the highlight of this dive resort, or even schedule a liveaboard next year on one of the affiliated Solitude properties. She also enjoyed the massage booked from the reception.

Breakfast was great! location was good, but the menu options and overall preparation was beyond expectations, including the delicious coffee! The island hopping services worked out well too. Dive shop was well stocked, good instructors/ divemasters and friendly staff. Bit on the pricy side, when compared to the similar quality services provided by nearby dive resorts.

It's not a negative feedback, it's probably applicable to us, because we were travelling with aged parents; the entire resort has numerous stairs- to go to the rooms, restaurant, pool- becomes tedious for them. and no wheel chair access too.

Beautiful resort and a fantastic restaurant. Although this is a diving resort, we booked it as we wanted a peaceful getaway and it completely delivered. We organised an island hopping day with them for abour 5000 PHP and managed to go to 2 different islands and ordered some food and drink from the restaurant to take with us which was absolutely magical. We were also able to organise a transfer last minute with the hotel which was expensive (155 USD each way) but in line with taxi prices from the airport.

Reception staff at times seemed not super interested in helping out, but might have just been a miscommunication.

I had a really good time at Solitude! The room was very spacious, had everything you needed and the general facilities, especially the pool, are great. The highlight of my stay was definitely the staff, who were super friendly and went above and beyond to help me with all kinds of questions, from Leo the friendly security guard to the receptionists and the restaurant staff. Salamat po! 🙏

Cleanliness, helpfulness of the staff, location, build quality, room standard, room design and space. Food were excellent local and international cuisine. Fresh orange juice with espresso was worth trying.

Previous review comments about next door hotel were accurate. This is only a small side comments about the food course, I ordered two types of soup and salad which was lovely and tasty however, the size portion was way too small. Perhaps, they could improve the size portions or serving dishes. The rest of the menu courses was in perfect size portions. I booked our 2 nights stay through booking.com with breakfast included but upon check-out they charged it to our room. Still, we had a great time.

The facility is very clean. We're very particular with accommodation and it met our expectations. We have a very good view of the sea wherever we go. The place was well planned that you can enjoy the view of the sea in a lot of areas. Beautiful sunset. I like also that you have a choice to swim in the pool and to snorkel on the seashore. We will try diving on our next stay. The people in the resort completed the good experience of our stay.

The shampoo and conditioner is harsh on the hair. The food and drinks are on the pricey side specially if you're staying for a long time. But the food is good.

We loved the sea view room because it’s only a plight of stairs away from where we parked. The rooms were very clean and they accommodated our request for extra beddings/ mattress for 3rd person in the other room for a fee of P2,500. We loved the food at the restaurant! The staff were all nice, courteous and served with a smile. The island hopping was arranged per our request and we had a great time. The place was clean and safe!

The pearl vendors by the beach and the resort is kind of uncomfortable to deal with. Though I know they just need a little income. I just gave a small amount so they can buy rice for the day.

It's a beautiful resort with spacious rooms, nice facilities and wonderful hotel staff and dive shop staff. The equipment were all in great condition as well. They reply to messages sent on booking.com promptly and have good food in the restaurant. Kuya Ricky was my divemaster and my boat operators / very helpful assistants were Kuya Joel and Kuya Robin. They were all very friendly and professional! Thank you for a great dive trip! Ms. Shirley at the front desk was also very helpful and kind. I highly recommend this resort. Thank you!
