The property was terraced and well maintained with steps leading to the sea. The rooms were rustic but clean and all rooms had air conditioning which is essential in this part of the world. The staff was hard working and tried hard to accommodate all of us.

From the time I ordered my dinner to the time it was served, it took about an hour and a half. I suppose it did not help that there were 22 of us. It seems like there was the owner/manager who was also the cook. She had two helpers and all 3 ran the kitchen/dining room. So, each time someone in my group wanted to pay, or get a drink, the owner/manager who was also the cook would stop cooking and take care of giving everyone what they wanted. At one point, I had to tell my group to stop asking for drinks and stop asking to pay because I was hungry. Breakfast was A LOT better.

location is unbeatable. open your room door & stand in awe of the gorgeous blue water. Ms. Lisa is the best host one could ask for. I had a very urgent medical issue & if it weren’t for her I’d be in the ER!!! Food was great, I actually ate 3 meals a day (few times more some days) which I haven’t done since childhood! The nightly price was less than a Margarita in Los Angeles, CA. I’m definitely going back!!!

I can’t think of anything I would change. If I could live there I’d be the happiest camper in the world!

Perfect for 3 rainy days 😅 The little room is very nice with view on the sea and a little balcony Scooter available for 350 pesos (needed if you want to leave the place that is 20min driving from Waterfalls or town). The owner is very nice Very quiet, I had my best nights in philippins

The food is not great but served with smile The staff doesn't speak good English except the owner Lisa so if she's not here you have to double check to see if they really get what you said I liked to room but it's not luxury, lot of water in all the bathroom and mold on the walls

We really enjoyed the bamboo beach hut. It was the best location for the waterfalls etc. The staff and check in process (room and scooter) was the most professional I've come across in the Philippines. The cheapest room was great, noisy aircon but overall very good. We upgraded the second night to be right on the ocean. It was fantastic. Hot showers, quiet and good aircon, comfy bed. Staff were lovely, I house food was good. Overall, a very very good stay.

+Our Deluxe Villa (more bungalow) location was directly on the water, with uninhibited views of the water and over to the hills and mountians of Negros from our covered balcony. It is as described and excellent value for money. +Very clean, with a newly renovated bathroom (for our bungalow). Warm water shower and air conditioning and fan unit with a good number of options (ie fan only or level of coolness), as well as a table top fan. For us, it was our cleanest place yet by far in this price range. And they offer to clean the room every 2 days. +Bungalow was all in wood and bamboo giving a homely feel. Many hooks inside with table and two chairs by the window. Windows were one glass for privacy. +Very friendly and helpful staff (Lisa) who is good at understanding what help you need. +The menu impressively has several vegan options including soy 'meat'. This is helpful on a number of levels, particularly as there's not a lot of food options nearby. Great views from the cafe, we spent most of a rainy day hanging out here. +While next to the main road and some housing nearby, it is very restful (although when we arrived there was a karaoke party for some guest, which is rare). +They can help arrange transport and have a scooter they rent for 350 pesos/day. However, it is well used, occasionally needs a kickstart and the suspension is a bit gone. We would have gotten a different one if there was an option. However, the main road has a very regular bus, which also gives options for visiting places, and tricycles also travel the main road. +Seriously, so comfortable by the water! And so clean! Not really any improvements as everything has been thoughtfully organised with travellers in mind. Only thing to suggest could be more help with scooter options, and perhaps a table lamp in the room.

I like the hot shower , working AC and the people. They were so helpful. Lisa and the crew was very helpful. The food was great. They provided us information that we need. Unfortunately, the weather when we visit the property was rainy and the waves were so big. We initially booked to snorkel We were able to do it but we weren't satisfied. I recommend to visit this place during sunny days or from April to June if you want to snorkel. There were corals and fishes but I wasn't able to enjoy coz of the weather. I also love the stray cat , it added to the view and coziness of the place. Their food is refreshing, natural and delicious.

We initially booked a superior villa here in booking. Sadly, the AC wasn't working during that time so we needed to downgrade. Good thing, the owner message booking to modify my room and to have a refund. I'm still waiting for the refund but it says that I need to wait between 7- 12 business days. The superior villa was so clean but the room we went for a change has a dirty underwear. It was below the wooden chair.. So far, I like the AC , it was so cold we need to turn it off and the hot shower is so perfect.

We loved the place, the bus from Moalboal stops right in front and the same stop to go back to Cebu city. The staff was lovely and super friendly, we enjoyed the food so much that for 4 days we ate there for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also offer a scooter rental and gave us all the information with activities to do inside and outside the island. Thank you guys for accommodating.

The room was pretty small for 2 people.

The owner is quick to reply to my inquiries and was accommodating to the adjustment of the booking changes.

The water heater doesn’t work after 2 people used it. Experienced muddy water coming out from the faucet. Access to the beach could have been nice but we found out when we got there that there is no access and not a place for swimming, if you are planning to do that.

I wanted somewhere in between all the waterfalls and canyoneering in the area and couldn’t have picked a better spot. Cool snorkeling in front of the accommodation, kayaks and scooters for rent. They helped me organize the best canyoneering experience ever in Alegria and advised me on the nearby waterfalls. Accommodation was neat and comfortable. Food was great too but Lisa and her colleagues really made my time there great. They are very welcoming and friendly.

Great location and very friendly staff. The place is very quiet and relaxing. The view is amazing. The rooms are simple but clean. Good value for money. Will definitely recommend the place.

The food at the restaurant wasn't very great. There was also a few cockroaches in the bathroom probably coming from the garden even if the place was clean.
