Location is great, you get beautiful views from literally everywhere. The pool is huge, very clean, sunbeds also nice. There’s a small beach access where you can enter the water and swim if you want but its not great. There are sunbeds there too if you want to chill by the water. Wifi works great in the rooms. Rooms are cleaned daily, you also get a refillable water bottle which you can refill for free whenever you want. Food is good, some can be improved, like fresh fish wasn’t available at all during our stay. Just shrimp for example. Breakfast is also nice. But on some days we were not given the fruit, apparently they “forgot” but we did see it on other peoples tables. - you can rent a motorbike from them and explore the surroundings.

Water pressure is very bad, if you have long hair..good luck. - drinks can be improved by just investing in an espresso machine. If you want something from the menu and the only person who knows how to make it is off that day then..you can’t have it. Maybe more staff training? Also no food available after 8pm, we asked for some bananas and they charged us 150 pesos for 3 small bananas??!! -they have canyoneering tours but for double the prices, so better check google for tours, they really are everywhere and for half the price.

We had an amazing experience! The owner was incredibly friendly, and the food surpassed our expectations—truly the best we've had so far. Although the resort provides direct access to the sea, it lacks a conventional beach. However, the enticing pool more than makes up for it, alleviating concerns about the absence of attractive beaches in the entire area, including Moalboal. Renting a motorbike for a day (though not 24 hours) proved convenient for daily trips and a 30-40 minute trip to Moalboal. Embracing its non-touristic setting, the resort is also accessible by bus, with a drop-off option at the street leading directly to it (just tell the bus driver). We opted for a tour and bike rental through the resort, finding minimal price difference compared to other agencies (if at all). It's important to note that, by law, many places in that area mandate tourists to have a guide. No alternative option is available. I highly recommend this resort, especially for those seeking an escape from the tourist hub of Moalboal and desiring a beautiful and relaxing experience.

The shower had a funny feature, that took me a bit to understand how to operate (I won't spoil it for you; discover it yourself) and could use a bit more water pressure, though nothing major to complain about. Despite a lengthy list of official rules (such as not to bring outside drinks or food into the resort), I found it acceptable. The on-site prices were reasonable, and I appreciate the resort's policy.

The resort is located in quite nice, quite area, but to get there it took us more than 3.5 hours from airport due to heavy traffic, poor road conditions), so I would suggest to use Hotel Transfer for sure (the cost for 3 persons: 4000 PHP). Although, on the way back to the airport the driver was very reckless and was speeding all the time, which made me feel very unsafe, so that was a biggest downside from our stay. As for the room, we stayed at Deluxe type of the rooms, which met our expectations (although during our stay, there were no water in our rooms for few hours, but staff was doing their best to restore it, which eventually they managed to do). In addition, the pressure of the water in the shower was not very good, so it was a bit of the challenge to get proper shower. As for the breakfast, it was very basic and most of the choices were egg based, so if you are not in that, you might get disappointed. I missed better quality coffee (because they did not offer freshly prepared coffee, so I had to ordered it separately). But as for the general food Menu, it had good variety and the quality of the food was nice, so we enjoyed our lunch and evening dinners. Even though, our stay was short, but nice and relaxing. I believe the quality the resort offers absolutely meets the value you will be paying for it.

The on-site restaurant served delicious food, and all the amenities listed in the offer were available and impeccably clean. One of the highlights was the amazing trips organized by the resort, including a visit to stunning waterfalls—truly an unforgettable experience! Cuestas is the perfect choice for anyone looking for comfort, quality, and adventure. Highly recommend!

We had a great time at Cuestas Beach resort. The owners and staff were really friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They were very interested and eager to arrange everything for you. The room was clean, had good AC, and having a minibar was a nice bonus. The property itself was well taken care of, neat and looked beautiful. The small scale, calm atmosphere, and seaside location really appealed to us. Breakfast was delicious, you could choose from several varieties. For lunch and dinner, the menu has a lot of choices, and everything tasted great. Thumbs up to the chefs! We highly recommend this resort and we will definitely come back!

We stayed for four nights in one of the white cabins and it was incredible. The resort looks even better than the pictures and has everything you can wish for. The white cabins have a large bed, warm shower, airconditioning and all have a lovely balcony with a view of the ocean. the resort has a private beach with a large coral reef located 100 meter off the shore. perfect for snorkeling. the pool is super large and also very deep (3 meters). the resort has its own restaurant and the food was alle very good and regularly priced. the best thing about the resort for us personally were the people running it. it’s owned by a family that is half Danish half Philippino and at the and of our stay we would almost feal like part of the family ourselves. super friendly helpful, lots of stories and ideas and can arrange everything. honestly our best stay in the Philippines!

so some small things that could be improved. - there was a little to much furniture in the rooms, it made the room feel a bit cramped. - it’s a half hour drive to moalbaol city center. not a big deal, because you can rent a motorbike for 350 pesos.

we liked the garden, beach, pool, and the cottage itself and we were fortunate enough to meet the Danish owner, he welcomed us warmly and we had a brief chat we got a big cold water container in our room and several refills with cold water and ice, free of charge the included breakfast was delicious and fresh but small in size we tried pasta and salmon for dinner, pasta was really delicious but salmon was just normal, the prices were reasonable while the portions were small the resort has a great atmosphere thanks to the beautiful surroundings and small beauty staff, that would be completed with the presence of the owner himself now and then to make you sure everything is under control

I couldn't find an option to have a room for two with private bathroom, maybe sold out that was hard for us to pass the bamboo stairs leading to the entrance of the cottage, specially the last two there was no fridge in the room but we didn't have problem as we got cold water for free there was several notices around for extra charges, but they didn't charged us while we used pool and had both coffee and juice for breakfast the only major problem was the annoying sound of construction on site that will be temporary

-Staff are nice -They always make sure that you are safe.

-Their restaunt has a lot (i mean it) flies. Although they offer to turn on the fans directed to us. Maybe they could find a better way to make the flies gone. -The entire resort has the rule that says "No Food and Drinks allowed" which I find it a bit uncomfortable unless they could offer all the food that the guests request like ice cream. If I may suggest maybe that policy can work in your restaurant and not the entire resort.

There are not enough words to express how much I enjoyed staying in Cuestas! The owners are weary welcoming, hospitable and just know what they are doing there. From the very start, the communication with the owners was instant. I wanted to come earlier then booked and received very clear message on the availability, price etc. Then, the resort is just 20m from the bus stop if you are getting by bus. What impressed me straight away when I entered the gates of this paradise was absolutely stunning property, perfectly maintained garden, you can see garden keepers every day. There is a decent and fantastic swimming pool, 3m deep and you can forget yourself watching sunsets and sunrise from there. Nicky and Mogens are both very attentive and responsive and I just felt so taken care that I could not expect more. They organise all the activities available on Cebu, from canyoneering and watching waterfalls to swimming with whale sharks. They make sure you come safe and sound and that you are happy and satisfied with everything they offer. Another wonderful thing about Cueastas is food - Toni the chef makes it delicious, always fresh, very big portions. Tbh, this was the first time when I truly and with no complaints enjoyed food while in the Philippines. My room had the most beautiful view in the resort, the wi do was good- I could work, better from the restaurant, but doable from rooms too. And there was AC which made me sleep at nights:) If you want to relax, get away from reality head to this paradise straight away! Yo’ll love it 🥰
