Fantastic location if you want something different from the beach. Picturesque river, huge territory where you can safely go for a walk/jog. Two swimming pools, lots of other activities (free and chargeable) organised but the resort. Very good restaurant. Breakfast is included. Staff is very nice. Rooms are comfortable, spacious and very clean. SUP on the river was awesome

Some rooms are dated, if you want a newer and bigger room stay near the restaurant garden view. All excursions although booked via the hotel are payable to individual drivers. In our case the driver tried to rip us off at every stopped, adding diversions to places where he would be paid a cut of our entry fee. That left a not very pleasant feeling

Absolutely lovely. Rooms to pool to staff everything super nice. Such a cool feeling to be there. We stayed 3 nights and it was good time to relax and recharge. Close to do the Tarsier, chocolate hills and whale sharks. It’s an amazing place and the staff makes it even extra special. Their staff is just too good.

The restaurant can improve the food a little bit more. But all in all it’s a tremendous place.

Picturesque and quiet riverside location of both room and restaurant. Large property to explore with monkeys to see. Well placed for exploring Chocolate Hills and Loboc has an appealingly different vibe to Panglao (akin to ubud vs kuta). Inexpensive rooms, add-ons, food and drink. Option for yoga class - book in advance though.

Regular rooms and restaurant bathrooms overdue for renovation (wall cracks, hand dryers not working) but priced accordingly and spacious and comfortable. Outside light doesn’t work without room key/power so walkways dark. Solar light perhaps?

The location is perfect. The Loboc river is really beautiful and picturesque. There are a lot of water activities on this river such as, sup boarding, kayaking, firefly watching. We even went sup boarding twice You can also rent a bike right at the resort. The location isn’t that far from the tarsiers conservation area and Chocolate Hills, so you can get there quickly. There are also some free activities at the resort

The breakfasts at the restaurant are quite good and tasty. But not every dish from the regular menu is worth trying (desserts are perfect)

- You could feel very connected to nature in here. Quieter, and there are no bus loads of noisy tourists you’d often find in big hotels. - food is great and they have lots of options, even vegan options which is a bit rare here in the Philippines. - the staff are lovely, they even take time to remember the guests names. - the prices (food, shops, activities) are decent, actually cheaper than what most touristy hotels/resorts would charge. Prices for activities for Panglao and the countryside tour are set and written in their guide. So there is no overcharging. - There is a pool, just forgot to take pictures of it. *I would definitely recommend.*

Honestly, none. To set expectations, the rooms are not modern and high end; it is rustic, clean and if you need anything else, the staff is more than happy to help.

It has everything you need for a good family vacation. Surrounded by beautiful nature and right next to Loboc river. The resort provides lots of fun activities to do like canoeing, stand up paddle boarding, fireflies watching. The resort restaurant has good quality food with decent price. Nice staff. Overall a very good stay.

Cool river/forest resort with boardwalks, river activities and pools. Pool towels provided. Our room was huge with river view - river view is obscured by trees. Enjoyed seeing the monkeys at feeding time on their island. Staff were helpful with transport, arranging motorcycle and massage. Nice welcome drink and towel on arrival.

Breakfast extremely basic for the price. Had to pre-order the night before for choice of drink, one fruit, bread, type of eggs and one meat. No bacon available even though other restaurant items included bacon. Could only have one drink - choice of carton juice, instant coffee, tea or hot chocolate. You could see everyone leaving the juice it was so bad. Have to pay extra for a proper coffee - annoying when you’re paying £110/night. Air con leaking twice during 2 night stay - staff attentive to fix both times though.

Absolutely stunning hotel right in the heart of Loboc and close to lots of nearby activities like the Tarsier Sanctuary, floating restaurants, etc. My room was comfortable but the most basic type, so it didn't quite stack up to the rooms my friends had, but for the lower price I paid I can't complain - it was fine for one night. The best thing about the Loboc River Resort though is its staff - they are so welcoming, friendly and professional and their customer service skills are impeccable (I've never stayed anywhere where they greeted me by my name every time I came to reception). The activities they offer are also great - we tried paddle boarding on the river and the firefly boat excursion - the latter is an absolute must! All in all a great stay, thank you Loboc River Resort :)

EVERYTHING. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive (especially the guy working this morning and last night with the white shirt... Didn't catch his name). We only booked one night but could have stayed longer. Such a relaxing resort... Great pool, clean pool towels, welcome iced tea, clean room, cheap beers and decent cocktails. The air con in the room is really good and the bungalow was surprisingly well lit and bug-free! Breakfast was great with lots of options (eggs were amazing). Dinner was also cheap and delicious (especially the mango float dessert). Easy to get to via scooter and only a 50min ride to the chocolate hills. This place has a great resort feel and was an absolute bargain for what you get.

Staff were very welcoming, attentive and friendly. Restaurant was top notch with lot's of delicious dishes to choose from. Location is a must if you want to see Loboc river, Chocolate hills, and tarsier sanctuaries. The hotel itself is nestled between the river and surrounding forest. We really enjoyed the hotel massages and how immersed in nature the hotel is, having monkeys and a meditation wellness space available for use.

There was nothing I didn't like about this experience.
