Loved the setting for our accommodation as it was out in nature and perfect to reset - we spent lots of time reading in our hammocks. Also lots of nearby activities to do such as chocolate hills, waterfalls, firefly tours. Some of the staff really went above and beyond to make us comfortable and allowed us to spend the day in the communal area after our check out. We found the street very charming to walk down as the locals are all very friendly there and said hello.

Would be great if you could rent paddleboards to use without a guide to explore yourself, unfortunately we found it too expensive for both of us to do the guided tour. Accommodation is far from the town (which adds to its charm) so we relied on the onsite kitchen for a lot of the food. We ordered food after our firefly tour at 20.00 and were told to order “simple things” as there was only 1 person working in the kitchen - it would have been nice to order what we wanted at the time. Weather was beautiful during our stay but we found it quite hot to sleep at night, a more powerful fan would be appreciated.

I enjoyed my three nights here - it is an extremely memorable place to stay. I was in the shared “dorm” so I can’t comment on the cottages etc The food and drink in the restaurant were great, although the service here could sometimes be slow (that gives more time to chill in the Forest though) The staff were brilliant - I appreciated that they learnt our names and did what they could for us - especially a smiley female staff member who’s name I can’t remember sorry

For the shared dorm, it’s a very tight space for the single bed. The pillows were not the most comfortable and it was quite hot (despite the fan). All to be expected in the forest though. One thing that would be useful would be a hand towel in the shared bathroom area to dry your hands.

My fiance proposed to me here so it will obviously always be a special place. The staff was super helpful and coordinated with him to arrange beautiful flowers and a candlelit dinner for us on the deck next to the river. Outside of that moment, the staff were incredibly welcoming and kind throughout our stay. We loved swimming in the river, reading books on the hammocks, laying in the sun outside of our room, getting massages, and eating delicious food and refreshing smoothies daily. There was no hot water in the shared showers but honestly it’s not needed when the weather is so hot and humid. The ecolodge is absolutely beautiful, we really loved how natural yet thoughtfully placed everything is. It is a work of art. Highly recommend the firefly watching on Sup boards at night. We had prebooked at another hotel before knowing WTF ecolodge offered the same for cheaper, so do think about booking when you get here. We also booked a scooter to go to the nearby waterfalls, which were incredible day trips. Twin falls (Pahangog Falls) is the best!! We had an amazing tourguide there, Abling. Ask for him if you can. Highly recommend visiting and highly recommend staying here during your visit to Bohol.

Really nice place to stay! Staff is really cool and gives you great tips about what's around. It's really quiet as well. I highly recommend this place if you want to explore Bohol

The hotel is really basic, don’t expect luxury. You will find animals such as spiders, ants or frogs. We didn’t have any in the toilet, room or bathroom though. Also the restaurant was clean and nice. There is a cold shower, but as it’s always hot, this is totally fine. The fan at night was sufficient, it cools down and it wasn’t too warm at all. Bring mosquito spray, there aren’t many, but there are … The food in the restaurant is great, the calamansi slushy is super tasty! There are many vegetarian options, also they serve smoothie bowl for breakfast. Prices are ok and good value for money. WiFi was working fine! The staff is really nice, especially Rafa who always calls you by your name and has such a wide interest and knowledge. It Was a pleasure chatting with her.

The mattress was really really hard. Next morning I had so much pain. Maybe I’m just really sensitive, but if you are like me, you should consider this.

Everything was perfect - the location is perfect to go everywhere in Bohol and you can easily rent a scooter to the hotel (very cheap - around 6€ a day and 2/3€ full fuel) - the staff is amazingly nice and friendly, they look after you and wants te help you. They also advice you some nice places to go. The lodge is so amazing, in the nature with the beautiful Loboc river where you can swim and paddle or do some kayac. The rooms are amazing and sleeping in the forest has never been so good. You can also book excursions (island for ex) from the hotel. Breakfast, smoothies and diner are very good, big and so cheap!!

The place is magical and right by the river. It's the perfect place to relax for a bit. they have a restaurant in the place and the food is good.

It's sleeping in a bungalow/open cabin style. You have a mosquito net so it's not a problem, but you do have some black weird dots falling from the bamboo ceiling. It's not terrible, but it's not for everybody. Also, the tours/activities they offer are a bit expensive and if you walk on the street leading to the main road you'll find it for cheaper.

The location was very nice and the food was good. The staff were really friendly and helpful during our stay there.

My biggest setback was that there weren’t any toilet facilities in the room I was in which made it difficult especially having to climb down a bamboo ladder to ground level in the middle of the night as I frequently need to use the toilet. The second setback was having to access the hatch opening in my eco unit especially at night time. The hatch doesn’t meet safety standards as has no safety features like handrails on the inside and could cause severe injuries to elderly people especially.

Everything! The staff are so nice and genuine. They have scooters and activities. The nature is unreal here. Delicious food. Umbrellas and towels and soap and everything you need. Goats and chickens and doggies on the main street. Its paradise. I extended and would come back in a heartbeat.

They dont have lockers, but you have your own private space in the dorm room, it felt safe to leave my things. I am sure the staff would keep something safe for you if you ask. They are beyond helpful and kind.

The location is beautiful, the staff are so so kind and lovely (they remember the name of every single guest staying at the lodge), breakfast was delicious and the design of the lodge is very pretty.

A lot of the bamboo was very creaky which made walking around in the night a very noisy mission. Additionally the bamboo in the ceiling is starting to erode which means the beds below it are constantly covered in black bamboo flakes. The mattresses could do with updating as they had become a bit thin.
