Wonderful property, the photos do not show all of the different pools. There is so much for kids to do in the water, aqua park, aqua play plus the inflatables pool. The kids indoor play area was great, and the staff were simply amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Karen, on reception, helped out quickly when there was a problem with our room. I liked that they used refillable glass bottles for the fridges and there were places to refill along each corridor. The sweets and flavored water were a nice touch in the lobby and the ladies in the spa were very professional yet friendly. We stayed for 11 nights and loved it.

As others have mentioned, the location is not the best. There isn’t anything really around, a couple of little shops at the entrance to the resort. You had to pay extra for the indoor play area, which is fine, but I’m not sure there is the need for the timer. We went several times and there were hardly any kids in there, perhaps if you just paid the 300/400 and then could play as long as you wanted. It was hard trying to explain to my 3 year old that his time was up!

First…I appreciate the staff especially the housekeeping and the restaurant and pool staff. Such super helpful people! The property is huge and there a multiple pools to swim and hangout. There also seems to have all kinds of activities for kids. Our room is spacious and clean. The bed and pillows are fine. Ac system, water pressure and water heater are perfect. There are a variety of breakfast foods to choose from. We love most everything that was served.

I had booked a room with ocean and pool view. We were given a room on the second floor. We got the ocean/pool view alright. However, we also got the view of the roof area above the lobby that had an accumulation of water either from the rain or from the rooftop bar when they wash their floors. I’ve actually seen someone dumping water that they used to clean their floors. The water that’s accumulated is a breeding ground for mosquitoes. It was grossed! See photo below. They have to do something about it. It ruins the beautiful view.

The staff were very polite and attentive. Food was excellent. Facilities were new. Pools were clean. Only downside to pool area is the depth of pool which is a standard 4 ft. But the best thing of all, it was not overly crowded.

Guest who booked thru bookings.com should have been notified via email that we needed to print the confirmation email as the hotel is not affiliated. It was a hassle looking through the email just to find that information. Most international guest use bookings.com

The staff at the onsite restaurant were SO FRIENDLY AND CHEERFUL!!! Their service really made our stay "top-notch". They were so sweet when I asked to them to take a picture with us. Glad we took a photo of the restaurant staff. I will never forget how joyful they were!!! Thank you!!! The concierge (two older gentlemen) was very helpful and attentive when we needed to book a tour guide to visit Minor Basilica of the Holy Child of Cebu (Basilica Del Sto. Niño) and the Magellan Cross Pavilion. They also helped arrange a 1/2 day Island hopping, snorkeling and on boat BBQ tour. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful hospitality "Cebu Style".

Unfortunately there were some little teeny tiny bugs on the counter in our room. The hotel did leave a note to say that they were dealing with this issue. Looks like there were some residual bugs left to deal with. It wasn't a huge issue but the hotel should know that these bugs were not fully eradicated. (They were so tiny that it was easy to take care of them myself) The sand on the beach was not what I was expected so we didn't swim on the beach. Fortunately we experienced the beautiful beaches of Cebu on our island hopping boat tour.

A lady (white shirt) who took our room numbers on breakfast was rude, aside from no greetings, raising her voice repeatedly that only 6 are entitled. I have already left a deposit on check in to charge it to my account. Right after our breakfast she only looked at us without saying any thank you. she’s giving my family members a face. please look after her dealing.

Perfect place to stay for families. All the amenities and location are perfect. Lots of options for swimming, dining and activities. Staff are great and the rooms are clean with amazing views.

Be warned. We paid for 3 adults which included breakfast, for 3 nights. We listed the guests as 2 adults and 1 child 13 yrs. old. Upon arrival, Solea refuse to honor the 3rd breakfast as I listed 3rd person as a child. They stated that 13 and over is considered an adult and breakfast was not included for a child. I told them that the child listed was paid as an adult. All they look at is the guest list and NOT what you actually paid. Tried messaging Solea but still no response. Thankfully Booking.com sided with me and refunded the 3rd breakfast in full. Thank you Booking.com. Even Booking.com received no response from Solea. Point is, list all your children, 13 and above, as adults.

Spread of breakfast buffet! I didn't even see beef or chicken? Maybe there was fish? But it was probably breaded fish. It's the Philippines, at least offer some danggit? Nothing. Just eggs and line was long. I was disappointed of the breakfast, I wouldn't buy it next time, if we ever stay here again. Also the grill place at the beach, not even a single seafood? This is Cebu where fish and seafood are a plenty! Just a few pork and chicken. No buko juice? And it's just crowded on weekends, making the place not so appealing. And so many fees! A child at 17 yo (which was stated) got charged P2K? When it fact we didnt' need another bed. Breakfast was not worth it.

The staff were so slow with everything. It took them hours to bring me toilet paper and they only brought it because I called multiple times. I also nearly missed my flight cos they took almost two days to do my washing and I had to sit in my room waiting for all my clothes to come. I told them I had to leave for my flight at 8am and to please bring my washing before then and they didn’t bring my washing until 10am. I had to call them multiple times to ask where my washing was. I was really disappointed and had to rush to my flight.

Breakfast was great! Some of the food were a bit cold otherwise it was good! The bar staff at Sandy Point Beach Bar were amazing! Bc of them we had dinner there a 2nd time. Thank you Jeffrel and team; Novie, Harry, Joy, Chabs and Joseph! The bar staff at the main bar were less friendly and weren’t as happy or hospitable as the Sandy Point Bar. I was actually turned off by the main bar staff.

The rooms were clean but the sheets smelled a bit like chlorine. And the elevators need venting bc it was really hot in the elevators. Also, I noticed the lifeguards were way too strict. I noticed that they didn’t complain about a Korean woman wearing shorts and a hooded sweatshirt in the pool but twice, he blew his whistle at 2 Filipino women (from different parties) for wearing shorts in the pool. Also, the pool use a cleaning.
