Location and the hospitality of the host. As we missed our boat and arrived one day late, they offered to give us one free night (as long as the room isn’t booked for the next day) however, we could not extend our stay due to time constraints. We will definitely take that offer when we visit next time.

Nothing. It was really nice.

The hotel room was super clean. We slep like i child in the comfortable bed. Food was excellent, and we had pork chops that was from heaven. I cannot recommend the place more. And… the couple that ran the resort and their staff are so helpful and fun. We loved this place❤️❤️❤️

Nothing!

We spent 11 days at Agoho Resort, which was one of the best vacations. The place was super clean, comfortable, and quiet. Peter and his wife always made sure everything functioned perfectly. They and their staff are super friendly and always willing to help. Camiguin Island offers plenty of opportunities for exploration. We visited the White Island, Mantigue Island, Katibawasan Falls, Hot Springs, The Giant Clam Estuary, Moro Tower, and climbed the Hibok-Hibok volcano. Agoho Resort was the perfect place to come back to every evening and recharge for the next day. We also decided to stay in for a couple of days and enjoy the comfort of the room and the beautiful gardens surrounding the resort. The breakfast was delicious, homemade bread, eggs (sunnyside up, scrambled), meat (Italian sausage, hot dog, bacon, corn beef), butter, jam, coffee, and milk. Other main dishes on the restaurant's menu were delicious as well. The resort helped us to rent a motorbike for all 11 days. It was cheap and reliable. Thanks a lot for a great vacation! We will be back!

The driveway leading to the resort was a little bit rocky, but not a big deal.

I've never been to Camiguin island, so I had no idea where to stay. Most places were listed by the north shore and I chose this one with a nice room, great price, close to where I needed to be to attend a wedding and overall seemed like the best option available. It absolutely was all those things! First, the room was very nice, if you see the pictures of the room that opens to a sea view, that's exactly right. I couldn't have taken more representative pictures. The wood flooring is very nice, the room tastefully decorated, but as I told the owners, I loved the mattresses. Very very comfortable. Apparently they're made in the Philippines, second most expensive on the market, and it shows. Super comfortable and I slept very well, even being exhausted from traveling almost 2 straight days to get there. Second, the location is awesome, right on the beach. Keep in mind this island is volcanic, so the sand is black. It rained virtually every day we were there, so there was no laying on the beach sunbathing. Not sure I would have done so anyway, as it seems better for walking than for laying out. Third, the owner and their staff is exceptional. I really enjoyed my discussions with Peter, his wife, and all his staff. They really went out of their way to make sure my nephew and I were comfortable. The included breakfast includes homemade bread that Peter bakes every day, which was fantastic, jam, butter, bacon and a couple of eggs. More than good, plus excellent coffee. Peter has a lot of stories about living on the island, running the resort, and just life on Camiguin in general. Great conversation and made passing the time between other family activities very pleasant. Those also offer dinner options, which we took advantage of 1 night. They also arranged a tour of the island by a small van / truck thing I forget the name of, and made the sure driver charged us a fair price.

Nothing. Some visitors and guests hadn't fully relaxed and were a little wound up, but otherwise great experience!

Camiguin itself and this hotel is very nice place - in the middle of a nature, on the bank of the sea. Pics and the description fully reflects reality Rooms (I stayed in that gorgeous studio on the first floor) are new and clean. Host, his wife and team are increadibly welcoming, and helpful. Don't hesitate to ask them in place of search - local facilities, restorants, shops, spots, transfers - they could advise you. Mantigue island truly deserves visiting! White island is more an a challange wheather you are able to wake up by 5am - as everyone tries to reach it by sunrise. Do not expect transfer working aftrernoon, seats in a boat better to share - ask who is also going in the hotel. Don't be upset that local beach has stones - just go 100 m right where boats stand. To wash that brown sand out you may use the garden shower. Bench and the wooden flooring nearby is good for sunbathing. Ask Peter to make a party near fireplace after sunset - but keep off ready against moskitos. I'd recommend the place both for short-time and long stays.

Everything was great

The room is spacious and has the basic amenities for a comfortable stay. The room has a spectacular view of the beach and the white island. The area is quiet and secluded. It is also near most restaurants. Breakfast is decent and delicious, the staff is very accommodating.

It is more of an inadvertence on our part that we did not ask if parking is available. :D We brought an SUV to the island, so parking and getting in the property from the main road was a bit challenging especially at night. Nevertheless, the area was safe and we had no problem parking our vehicle ourside the property. The hotel is best for travellers who want to tour around the island in motorbikes.

The owners and staff were so kind and welcoming. They attend to requests easily and helped us also to ensure that our trip will be smooth. The property is so clean, the environment is so relaxing since it is located at a beachfront. The rooms were so spacious especially the bathroom. The property is slightly near to some tourist spots like the white island and sunken cemetery. They also have a restaurant that you can preorder in advance. Everything is just perfect

The resort is slightly far from Benoni Port but it is closer than the airport. Sometimes, the water from the faucet have a smell but it is bearable

The resort is brand new, extremelly well located with all the commoddities that you need. Breakfast is amazing and the burger that Peter prepares is delicious. Peter and Mailyn are the best, super friendly and always willing to help. They show us cold waters that tourists don't know and they bring us to the port for a ferry. It was an amazing stay, the best in our month in Philippines. I wish you all the best. :)

Spacious, clean and comfortable room set in a very nice garden. Only 20 mins tricycle from the port (300php). The staff were very helpful in organising transport etc. There is access to Agoho beach, which is a black sand 'working' beach (i.e. not set up for tourists etc.), but pleasant to relax on. Free water refills and ok WiFi connection. Would recommend this property if staying in the area.

Property was great, but I would recommend you have your own transport to explore the island rather than relying on Tricycles etc.

-Very kind and helpful staff. Thank you for taking such good care of us! -The resort is lovely, neat and surrounded by a lush and well kept garden. The room is very comfortable, spacious and spotless. -Delicious breakfast. We loved the omelette and the homemade bread. -Perfect location, right in front of a beautiful and peaceful beach and very close to nice restaurants and the main tourist attractions of Camiguin.

Everything was perfect.
