Location is perfect, 7 minute walk from the van terminal and right in front of the beach. Plenty of restaurants and eateries around. Amazing place to watch the sunset. Breakfast is included and absolutely delicious. I had the pancakes and couldn’t even finish them. They come with fruits, too.

The room was like a tree house with the bathroom downstairs. This was but inconvenient especially when you need to use the toilet at night. But the pictures were honest about this so not the property’s fault. The shower didn’t have any pressure because there is a shortage of water as it hasn’t rain for 4 months. So we had to shower with a bucket, but not a major problem.

Awesome position, the tour booked via the hotel (A) was top notch, amazing breakfast, nice staff. The restaurant (and cocktails) is great as well! All in all, this place was for us a one stop shop for the stay in Port Barton

As all the other hotels we experienced in the Philippines, the maintenance of the building was lacking: very old and noisy AC, the small boiler in the shower took a few tries to work every time, sometimes smell of sewage would come up from the toilet. Also, rooms are a bit small and there are very few power outlets.

Beachfront—great view of the water from our balcony Private tours and boat crew—property owner also operates boat tours so we were able to walk out of our rooms right onto the boat to go island hopping and snorkeling. Terrific crew took care of us, making sure we saw the best spots and preparing the most delicious lunches. Breakfast included—good selection of dishes, fresh fruit, hot coffee and tea. The restaurant was at the bottom of the stairs so it was very convenient.

The furniture and decor in the room need updating—a fresh coat of white paint with the dark accents would make it more resort-level quality. Also, I like dogs but the town and businesses need to do more about the strays that hang around the dinner tables on the beach. It’s a problem up and down the beach area. If you don’t like dogs, stay somewhere else.

The second floor rooms with balcony looking out onto the sunset were an amazing place to stay - great views and private. The rooms were a big size too. The restaurant is great - tasty food and very reasonably priced. Likewise breakfast was nice - not loads of choice but good quality. We did the best boat tour / snorkelling trip we have ever been on through our hotel. Uris, the tour organiser was friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is great - right on the beach.

Not all staff were that helpful or engaging- at breakfast, rather than greet you and offer you a menu, tended to ignore you until you came up to reception to order your food. The showers in the room aren’t great.

The location of the Ausan Beach Front Cottages in front of the beach is a big advantage. We could order dinner at the hotel restaurant and have it actually on the beach. On site there was a tourist guide who was always available and very helpful. The condition of the room we chose was also nice. Even though we chose a room with a fan, not with air conditioning, it wasn't a problem at all. If you hesitate which place in Port Barton to choose, Ausan Beach Front Cottages is definitely a good choice.

The location of the resort is perfect. It’s facing beachfront and lays in the Center of the village. Staff members were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, shower with an instant hot water.

Nothing major, but this resort is one of the most expensive in the area so you expect better than average. issues: They lack of chilling area. They have 2 gazebos, but no benches, sun beds, etc. If raining then water pool in the private terrace is forming. Staff clean it once a day though. They have a huge menu and most of the dishes weren’t available. Preparing time is crazy long.

Fantastic location right on the beach. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Particularly Jiras who was always available to help out in organising tours, navigating the tricky ATM situation in port barton, or anything else.

We took a boat tour to some islands and coral reefs. It was a great tour with a really friendly crew but we didn't like how they (and other tour operators) would dive down super close to the turtles just to get them to swim in the direction of the tourists. A bit more respect for the wildlife would make the tour so much better

Room was nice, we had everything we needed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They have their own tour around the bay, where we ended up seeing a sea turtle! Amazing corals and staff in the boat tour. The location was amazing, right at the beach front! Would reccoment!

The rooms were not soundproof, and we could hear our neighbours, the fan was not very good and very loud. Beds were a little too hard for my european back, but nothing I couldn't live with.

Place is clean and in the middle of Barton. Establishment are just near to Ausan. Loved that its beach front and the vibe is chill. Plus they offer a free and great breakfast. All staff (except Angelika) are nice and accommodating. I would highly recommend.

Overall stay was very comfortable. The hot water temp setting n the room was perfect. The beach, resort location, breakfast, manager, boat crew & availability of an outdoor faucet & shower after a swim or snorkel were exceptional.

Another blanket would have been appreciated. Air conditioner without remote control & was too high to reach to adjust fan speed or temp setting.
