We liked everything in this place. Perfect location, close to the beach and restaurants. There is an internet router in each room which makes work from anywhere set up really effective for us. Staff are all friendly and helpful with all our questions. They change the towels everyday as well as the bedsheets and refills drinking water. They clean the room everyday but never touch any of our personal things. A real value for money!!!

We feel at home. Place is clean and beautiful. Not too far from Alona Beach. Some people may be put off by the road leading into the resort because it is not paved / quite rough. It's fine with us. Only took us 3-5mins walk to the main road. I understand some people it can take longer. But once you're in the main road, everything is there Jollibee, McDonald's, 711, BPI, etc. Then walk a little more and you'll be in Alona Beach. Good value for money. I highly recommend it!!

Loved my stay at the Tamarind! Really clean and well organized and distributed hotel, with all the rooms facing the nice swimmingpool. All the staff was kind and helpful. The rooms really spacious, with super comfortable beds (10!), fridge, safety box, great shower, great wifi, honestly i couldn't ask more for the price. Not in front of the beach, but just 5 min walking from Alena beach, the main and one of the most beautiful beaches in the island. No dogs in the property barking at night which is rare for PH. Highly recommended!

The place and the service were exceptional. They change the sheets and towels everyday. The place is new. The staff were very accommodating.

None but I suggest if you know how to ride a motorcycle just rent a motorcycle but if you like walking you can just walk going to Alona.

My family and I recently stayed at the Tamarind and we had an amazing experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The amenities were top-notch and the pool was a great way to relax. The cappuccino they make at the cafe is like you are in Italy. We appreciated the van pickup from the airport. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at the Tamarind and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the area.

Sometimes there is smoke in the air from the neighborhood, not the hotels fault but something to be aware of if you are sensitive to that.

The staff were amazing & they always greeted us when we returned after a day out. The room was great & cleaned every day, the pool was excellent, the grounds were always kept perfect. Even the staff at the bar would sweep & mop the floor regularly & they were always friendly. Location is only a short walk or tricycle ride to Tawala/Alona. Even with all of the positives the friendly staff are the standout & will have us coming back again.

The only negative (which is not the fault of the resort at all is the road going to the property is in urgent need of repair/upgrade.

Good value for money. Shower pressure is strong, with hot water. Room is very spacious and clean. Blanket is thick and comfy. Balcony is big and perfect for drying things. Pool is clean and big. There is a convenience store right outside the resort. There is a hair dryer.

Wifi very slow. Pillows kinda flat. No water dispenser to refill water bottle. Front desk does not want to refill for free. Some of the staff are very unfriendly, do not smile at all. Do not respond to thank you. Long bumpy and rocky road to get to the resort. Don't think it's walkable to other places, need to take a trike which costs 200 pesos one way. Very expensive. You can hear some party music during weekends. The curtains are not black out so the light is super bright in the morning.

The hotel is located at the somewhat end of a bumpy road, near the main road of Panglao. To get to the center or the beach an easy walk of around 10 minutes is required. This also means you don’t have the loud noises from the karaoke and different bars at night. As we travel with a baby, this was a must for us. Thus, overall we consider this as a superb location! The rooms are really, really spatious and clean. The bathroom is great, with a by glass wall separated shower from the toilet. The hotel staff provided a baby crib and arranged the transport to our next stop. The staff was really playful with our baby and he loved every minute of it! The hotel pool is great, our room had a mini fridge and the AC worked like a charm. The rooms also come with a small balcony, which is great. 9/10 would recommend.

We are a family of 8. We liked everything. 1. All rooms are very spacious and very clean. Daily housekeeping was done by the friendly staff; 2. We were able to cook our meals in the apartment; 3. Wifi signal is excellent; 4. We were assisted by the friendly receptionists for our countryside and island hopping tours. The rates are very reasonable. 5. Ms. May and Architect Enzo, the owners, are very helpful. When our flight was cancelled last January 01, they offered to pick us up at the airport because the driver is already off duty on New Year's Day. Architect Enzo personally drove us back to their Hotel. Thank you. Thank you Ms. May for the yummy malagkit rice you gave us on New Year's Eve.

Big rooms and bed with aircon. Staff were very helpful and made up the room everyday, putting the towels in different shapes like crabs and octopuses! A small detail but we enjoyed it. Good location off the main road so it was quiet but still very close to Alona beach and lots of restaurants. Big breakfasts available at hotel. Parts of the hotel are being renovated so there was some construction noise during the day however this didn't bother us.

It is on a really beaten up road, so not ideal for dragging your suitcase along. Otherwise expect a very bumpy tricycle/taxi ride.
