Great place to stay, the staff is super friendly and helpful ! Helped us book a day trip and gave good recommandations. Room is spacious and comfortable and breakfast was good. Would highly recommend for a stay in Puerto Princesa

The internet signal is not good. They try to improve that. The aircon is very loud, but well...

Friendly staff

• The warmth and the initiative of the staff on duty, always going above and beyond what is expected of them. They saw me carrying my laundry and offered to take them to the laundry house so I didn't have to walk. They would always check up on us on what we're up to and offer anything that we might need! • There is a free foot massage machine that you can use at the receiving area. Just plug and play! • Free breakfast - choices are tocino rice, corned beef rice, or egg & toasts. • Free drinking water. • There were free ear plugs for the rooms facing the road. But I don't find the roads noisy at night so there's no need to use it. • Towels get replaced everyday. • Very comfy beds, and thw bedrooms feel like a normal Filipino home - that's why I find it so easy to sleep. • There are power outages in Puerto Princesa, and this happens regularly on the island. It's pretty normal there. But rhey have a generator whenever it happens. • Late check-out fee of ₱150/hour is reasonable and not top expensive 😊 • The location is so nice. It's beside cafe eightynine, and a couple of minutes walk from another great cafe, Gold Cup Another Level, also Baywalk! You can also walk going to SM but I choose to take the tricycle. • I appreciate how responsive they are here on booking.com and on Facebook!

• The pillows could be improved, they were too soft and cushiony which did not give ample neck support. • The water pressure sometimes gets weak after a couple of minutes showering. But it was no big deal as I finish taking a bath before it gets even weaker. • The blanket was too thin.

In terms of its location, Balayong is situated close to the baywalk, granting easy access to affordable dining options and stores within walking distance. Moreover, the adjacent café not only offers delicious food but also provided us with a generous 15% discount as we were guests at Balayong. Additionally, the staff was exceptionally welcoming and friendly.

Due to its proximity to the road, the place can be quite noisy, so if you are not a deep sleeper, anticipate some noise during your stay. Additionally, the curtains are not very effective in blocking out light, leading to a relatively bright environment in the mornings. Furthermore, there are occasional interruptions in the water supply, and the water pressure is not good.

We stayed from April 4 to April 7 this year. It was so convenient and very comfortable. The location was perfect just about 15 minutes walk to BayWalk PPC. Our trip was quite hassle free. Tricycles are accessible to and fro the airport. Ivan and all the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was convenient and my brother loved the pancakes so he ordered another plate Lol. The room and the facilities were clean and well ventilated. Sorry about the throw pillow Ivan LOL. All in all the stay was just lovely. We will come back for sure. Thank you to all the management and staff you are all wonderful.

Stayed at this Pension for only one night since I flew out of PP the next day. The best about this place is by far the location (close to the Bay Area, a local food market and a shopping mall) and the extremely friendly hosts! I felt very welcome and he did not only drive me to the airport but also spontaneously drove me to the shopping mall since we weren’t sure about opening hours on Good Friday (turns out the SM is closed).

No mini bar or hair dryer (which I personally didn’t need anyways) but AC, hot water and complimentary drinking water in the lobby. they offer tours (fireflies/ cave tour/ massages) as well.

The staff were lovely and overall the hotel is clean, comfortable and excellent value for money. Breakfast was great and included with our stay. The hotel had a backup generator so that our stay wasn’t overly disrupted by power outages - a regular feature of life in the Philippines!

The AC unit was really loud. The hotel had thoughtfully provided earplugs so it didn’t bother us though! The water pressure in the shower was pretty low. Neither big issues that would stop us staying here again or recommending it to a friend.

The staff were really lovely and helped us book our bus to El Nido and also get a HUGE spider out of our room 🕷️ Breakfast was nice and as you come out of the hotel a few doors down on the right there’s a lovely cafe/restaurant to eat in/get coffee and pastries in the morning. We only stayed 2 nights as a bit of a stopover before travelling to El Nido so didn’t explore the area all that much, hard to say if the location is good for that reason.

Noisy air con.

The rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable and provide everything you need. Additionally the location of the pension is just great as it’s close to the Baywalk and the city centre. Especially the owners and the staff are absolutely amazing! We had a really great time with them, they helped us with everything you can think of and organised all our tours. They definitely try to do the best out of your stay and make you feel home. Thank you so much!
