The hotel is tucked away down a small passage which adds to the sense of occasion when you arrive at the check in desk, and then turn to see the view that you will recognise from when you booked your stay. And it doesn't disappoint. 7 Stones faces directly onto Bulabog Beach, on the quieter side of the island. The good thing is that there always seems to be a cooling onshore breeze. Perfect to sit with a drink from the swim-up bar, watching the kite surfers do their thing, lazily observing the constant stream of tourists having their photo taken at the coconut palm that leans out over the sea, or simply getting slowly smashed, knowing that you are in a Tropical paradise with sand between your toes, and everyone else is at work.
We booked a Superior room for our stay, but these rooms face away from the pool, so no spectacular view. We upgraded to a suite, which was so good, I could have lived there happily for the rest of my days. Our original room though, had a tiny balcony that was about three feet away from a rusty old tin roof, with only a sliver of view of the sea and beach. Not very superior. The room and bathroom were of very high quality, but if you choose to go to 7 Stones, you already bought into the idea of wanting the very best, and the very best thing to do is to upgrade to a suite, or book one beforehand.

Great location, 5 minutes walk to everything
Pool was cold, probably because of the rain.

Beautiful, clean and spacious room with a comfortable bed. We loved the pool and the location - beach view! The staff were amazing - friendly, professional, accommodating. They let us check in whilst sat in the room for comfort. The security guards were friendly and made us feel safe. Shout out to Ryan for being so kind to us. The quieter location suited us, yet still so convenient for D-mall. Good coffee options were an easy <5 minute stroll - this was one of our priorities, haha! Our son is only 10 months old, he waved at anyone who walked past the window and all the staff waved back - they were so friendly! We left 7 stones feeling like we'd just stayed with extended family. <3 Note that I took some photos but they do not do this place justice!
Nothing. Some people think the location isn't ideal, but even that was perfect for us - the quieter part of the island, only 5-10mins walk from the busy D-Mall (2 minutes by e-trike)

Great location, very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful morning sunrise. Awesome rooms (full apartment, great for bigger groups) One of the best places I’ve ever stayed
Restaurant is very basic, but there are plenty of other options within a few minutes walk

The room was big and with every comfort, it was actually an apartment with a balcony in front of the swimming pool. All things were working. Safety box, kitchen, Jacuzzi, air conditioning.. The service was very good as the food, with delivery in the room. Breakfast also was good. Nice view of the sea from the living room. I will come back.
Nothing.

This is not a trafotipnal hotel, but a complex of privately owned units that are rented out for short term stays and run like a hotel. Unit 205b was a hotel single room style unit. It is in need of a refurb/refresh as it's looking a bit dated and shabby. All of the staff were very friendly, and the location is good, right on the beach on the quiet side of the island. The pool was nice, but a criticism is that there are not enough sun loungers for when the complex is busy.
Refurb needed in the unit we stayed in. More sunloungers needed around the pool.

The staff were the best part of this beautiful place. They arranged anything we needed and were so nice. They wanted to do anything they could to help or even just have a conversation. The bartender was especially very nice. Housekeeping came regularly and did a great job. The facilities were really good the bathrooms were very clean, the pool and pool area was amazing so was the restaurant and pool bar. The room itself was very beautiful and spacious and so was the bathroom. Everything was very clean including the outside of the building. Room service was very convenient and fast. The food was also excellent. The location was amazing with a beautiful beach right in front. And a short walk to the lake and food areas. The security was very helpful and made us feel very safe especially as 2 young women. The highlight of the stay was definitely the staff though they were amazing.
It would be nice to have some lighting on the rooftop at night as it is very dark and you can’t see the nice view. Also it would be nice to have more dinner options at the restaurant other than pizza. Other than that it was perfect.

The location was perfect, staff very friendly and accommodating, and ensured i was comfortable. Food choices were simple, but good with not a very wide variety, but there is an abundance of restaurants all in walking distance if you feel the need for a variety. The pool and bar are amazing, and again the staff are so accommodating and friendly, as well as unintrusive.
I just feel the check in times should be earlier than 3 pm, as after a long travel, if you arrive early, you are inconvenienced by having to wait for the room. Only other comment was that some items were not always available on the menu, but there was something similar to choose from, so it was perfectly acceptable.

The area was quiet and calm with plenty of places to walk.. we had the opportunity to see a gorgeous sunrise, and it was great to be so close the beach. It was easy to switch between the sea and the pool depending on our mood. The main shopping area is a 7 minute walk, which was fine with us as it meant we were away from the louder areas. there were still plenty of places to eat on our side of the beach if you walked up and down the walkway or on the way to the mall. The staff was also cheerful, helpful, and very accommodating, even when we requested to hang around after check out due to a late flight. You'll see some dislikes below, but it's me nitpicking and suggesting ways in can be better. Overall, the place was lovely if you're looking for a quiet and relaxing time!
The sink faucet in our bathroom needed to be in a very specific position to stop dripping. Though thus hurts the hotel more than the guest as it may waste water. we tried not to track sand in by taking off our shoes when we got in, but inevitably, the floor became a bit grainy. It would had to the guests' comfort if there were slippers. In the corner of the bestroom, there's a motion sensor light outside. when it was dark at night, it would sometimes wake us up when the light outside suddenly shown in through the window. perhaps strong blinds would be helpful? All these were minor inconveniences. Overall, lovely and relaxing experience!

The resort is directly in front of the beach, in front of some exceptional photo spots. But since it's on the other side of the island from D'Mall, the foot traffic and vendors are very limited. We loved waking up and seeing the sun rise over the water. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and the facility was very clean and comfortable. What really struck me about Boracay Island though was the limited number of stray animals and mosquitoes. The government has done a great job with that, and Cebu should take a lesson from Boracay. If you're going to the Philippines, you have to go to Boracay Island. And if you're going to Boracay Island, you have to stay at 7Stones.
Boracay Island is a great example of what makes the Philippines amazing. Cebu get's a lot of traffic, but if you never left Cebu, you'd think the Philippines was disappointing. If you're not happy with your surroundings, just hop a ferry to another island. The Philippines has something for everyone.
