Location was fab, nice building/ beach setting, lovely friendly staff, breakfast was good, fresh eggs as you want & other options, room was basic but clean. Welcome drink on arrival, coffee for the room & a takeaway breakfast as we left very early!

They specifically say beach seats cannot be reserved, yet every day people put towels on beach chairs & never use them. One day we had been on the beach all morning from 930am & when we left we removed our towels. We came back about 330 pm & as I saw the seats had still not been used we went to sit on them as they were the only free ones! A staff member approached & said we couldn’t sit there, I relayed that no one had used them all day! She insisted the person was in the restaurant so we couldn’t use them! I told her they had been empty since 930, she still insisted we couldn’t sit there! So we had to sit on the sand on the beach instead! It shouldn’t have been a big deal but it marred my day! They should enforce a rule of towels on chairs unused by midday will be removed!

Breakfast is just okay. Location is very private which is the reason i love this place but need to ride trike to get to the d mall station 2 just to eat

The hallway is so slippery should have a mat for safety of the guest. It is very dangerous for all the guest specially the kids even i was very careful i slipped twice. Please do something about this ASAP!!!

Everything about the property was excellent but I must say that your staff was more than extraordinary! They were very friendly, helpful, polite and very professioinal. When you meet people like that while vacationing, how can you not have a great day! The room we had, triple fronting the beach, was clean and spacious. The bathrooms was just as large. I totally love the small, quiet area of your resort. It was my style of R & R!!

My only problem with the resort was the food. I would rate your kitchen as a 6 out of 10. Breakfast was ordinary and I noticed too much oil is used for cooking the eggs. I would relook your menu and update your food choice. I have noticed that not too many people have lunch or dinner in the resort.

The location of Sur is its core strength, having direct access to the beach with lots of lounge chairs to choose from, easy access also when it comes to taking an e-trike to the mall or wherever. I also loved that the AC is always cool, the showers were hot, and the room was exceptionally spacious!

I requested to be assigned in ground or 2nd floor only, but we were assigned on the 3rd floor - the stairs was also extraordinarily steep - a hazard, I could say. The rooms could also use a retouch, like the partition in the bathroom - some parts had rust and the shower head could be replaced. I commend the space of the room, but it could use an indoor chair or couch because there was only 1 chair.

The staff was very helpful, caring and friendly. We had made a reservation for a week first, and when we were very satisfied, we extended it for another week. The breakfast was not rich but it was enough. The food in the restaurant was delicious. Our room was cleaned every day. Towels were changed every day and new toothbrushes were put. Maybe the only thing I can say as the only deficiency was that there were no cushions on the sun loungers of the hotel. It may seem simple, but it is important to have a more comfortable sunbed while sunbathing on the beach. I would definitely stay at this hotel if we are on our way again. Come on, the price balance is very good. This takes a bit of a back seat to the fact that the hotel is in need of maintenance. Thanks to all the hotel staff for making us feel at home!

All the staff were very friendly & accommodating which made our stay very enjoyable. They all had smiles on their faces everyday and were only too happy to help with anything you asked. We had a problem with our room when we arrived where the balcony door didn’t lock along with the safe to lock away valuables which wasn’t ideal. It was also by the kitchen and all we heard was the electrical fan! They moved us straight away to another room in order to make our stay safe and happy for us 😊

We would say that there could have been a few more sun beds for the beach area as some days there didn’t seem enough for everyone. Also we found people reserved their beds and left their towels on them all morning and you wouldn’t see them until the afternoon or maybe sunset which made it unfair for others.

It was a 2-minute walk from the station one beach and a 5-minute walk to the grotto. Breakfast options were good, but I believe they may be improved, and the staff were friendly. It was a reasonable price for a beachfront property in Station 1. The property does not have a lift, but that is fine because they provided us with a GF room, which I asked when booking because I was traveling with my 75-year-old mother. Also, the room key is still the old school key, there is no duplicate, and you must leave it at reception if you wish to go somewhere alone without the other person you are traveling with. The room was adequate for two people, with the exception of the shower door, which allowed water to flow outside. So, after showering, we continued mopping the floor. The location is ideal for a calm escape in Boracay because it is away from the noise in Station 2. Just a 10-minute ride in the e-tryke from Boracay's restaurants, but they also have a restaurant in the hotel if you want to dine at night and are too weary to go to the D mall. Nonetheless, I'd want to stay here again whenever we return to Boracay.

Amazing location - away from the business but close enough to get to it easy. Loads of bars and restaurants around. The section of beach it is on beautiful!! Fantastic check in - cold cloth and welcome drink was amazing after a flight. Super friendly staff that couldn’t do enough for us, remembered who we were and was available for anything we needed. The happy hour from 1-10 is also a bonus 😀 The sunlounger situation is annoying- we arrived and out of all of the sun beds with towels on, only one person was actually there so if you want one, get a towel at breakfast. More choice at breakfast would be preferable- even some cereal for those of us who don’t fancy rice etc, but there is an egg station and they cook what you want. Would 100% stay again and recommend to others.
