Location was fab, nice building/ beach setting, lovely friendly staff, breakfast was good, fresh eggs as you want & other options, room was basic but clean. Welcome drink on arrival, coffee for the room & a takeaway breakfast as we left very early!

They specifically say beach seats cannot be reserved, yet every day people put towels on beach chairs & never use them. One day we had been on the beach all morning from 930am & when we left we removed our towels. We came back about 330 pm & as I saw the seats had still not been used we went to sit on them as they were the only free ones! A staff member approached & said we couldn’t sit there, I relayed that no one had used them all day! She insisted the person was in the restaurant so we couldn’t use them! I told her they had been empty since 930, she still insisted we couldn’t sit there! So we had to sit on the sand on the beach instead! It shouldn’t have been a big deal but it marred my day! They should enforce a rule of towels on chairs unused by midday will be removed!

Breakfast is just okay. Location is very private which is the reason i love this place but need to ride trike to get to the d mall station 2 just to eat

The hallway is so slippery should have a mat for safety of the guest. It is very dangerous for all the guest specially the kids even i was very careful i slipped twice. Please do something about this ASAP!!!

Everything about the property was excellent but I must say that your staff was more than extraordinary! They were very friendly, helpful, polite and very professioinal. When you meet people like that while vacationing, how can you not have a great day! The room we had, triple fronting the beach, was clean and spacious. The bathrooms was just as large. I totally love the small, quiet area of your resort. It was my style of R & R!!

My only problem with the resort was the food. I would rate your kitchen as a 6 out of 10. Breakfast was ordinary and I noticed too much oil is used for cooking the eggs. I would relook your menu and update your food choice. I have noticed that not too many people have lunch or dinner in the resort.

The location of Sur is its core strength, having direct access to the beach with lots of lounge chairs to choose from, easy access also when it comes to taking an e-trike to the mall or wherever. I also loved that the AC is always cool, the showers were hot, and the room was exceptionally spacious!

I requested to be assigned in ground or 2nd floor only, but we were assigned on the 3rd floor - the stairs was also extraordinarily steep - a hazard, I could say. The rooms could also use a retouch, like the partition in the bathroom - some parts had rust and the shower head could be replaced. I commend the space of the room, but it could use an indoor chair or couch because there was only 1 chair.

All the staff were very friendly & accommodating which made our stay very enjoyable. They all had smiles on their faces everyday and were only too happy to help with anything you asked. We had a problem with our room when we arrived where the balcony door didn’t lock along with the safe to lock away valuables which wasn’t ideal. It was also by the kitchen and all we heard was the electrical fan! They moved us straight away to another room in order to make our stay safe and happy for us 😊

We would say that there could have been a few more sun beds for the beach area as some days there didn’t seem enough for everyone. Also we found people reserved their beds and left their towels on them all morning and you wouldn’t see them until the afternoon or maybe sunset which made it unfair for others.

Sur Beach Boracay Hotel boasts an excellent beachfront location, offering easy access to nearby attractions, whether through the street or along the beach.The hotel’s staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and always wore warm, welcoming smiles. They were attentive, proactive, and consistently went the extra mile to ensure guests had a memorable and enjoyable stay. If I ever return to Boracay, I will undoubtedly choose Sur Beach Boracay Hotel again. It truly feels like coming back home, where warm and caring staff are ready to welcome you with open arms. In addition the staff keep the hotel very clean.

While Sur Beach Boracay Hotel offers a great location and excellent service, some areas could benefit from renovation and facility upgrades. The rooms are generally clean, but guests may encounter issues such as air conditioning malfunctions, delayed hot water from the tap, and noise from the refrigerator (which I personally turned off for comfort). Additionally, the breakfast selection and quality could be improved. Since breakfast is served outdoors, proper food safety measures should be considered. Items like salads and fruits may appear less fresh due to prolonged exposure without refrigeration for easy guest access. While you’re unlikely to leave hungry, the breakfast experience could be more satisfying with some adjustments.

Staff is very polite , and the front near the beach the chair that you can lie down an relax .Breakfast is good too.

what I don’t like is when we had breakfast at 9:30 after they serve us our food they don’t even ask us if we need more coffee or tea before they stop serving.It’s not a big deal but I order extra breakfast for the 2 of us and we have to pay extra coffee because the breakfast is over .We stay there for 3 nights and just 1 breakfast we do a bit late , but coffee I have to pay extra coz they stop serving including with breakfast.

Location, Sur has the BEST beach front! This area has the best white powder sand in all of Boracay, hands down! Love that it’s far enough from the party noise and overcrowded station 2&3, but also not that far if ever you want to go out and party on some nights! What we also love is that, it’s not overpriced! Our room was cleaned very well whenever we requested, and the breakfast always fresh and delish with the BEST view! And HAPPY HOUR for the win!!!2 yummy cocktails for the price of 1 from 1pm to 10pm DAILY 🥳 Shoutout to all the amazing Sur crew, from reception, to bar/restaurant, concierge, housekeeping and security, everyone was just so friendly and warm and always helpful! Thanks so much guys, we had such a pleasant stay! We will definitely stay at Sur again! 💕
