really nice breakfast with local specialities and some really nice to haves like salmon and fresh juiced smoothies. Nice and cozy interieor (breakfast room is like a distillary/brewery) and also the rooms are very nice. Located in the city center of Katowice in walking distance to many nice restaurants. Extremely nice and helpful staff at the reception. I had an issue with the taxi company (only wanted to sed the receipt to a polish mobile number). The reception helped me to sort the issue with them. Thanks again for that exceptional service.

The possibility to change the room since the first one did not m The room wас very clean. The staff is young and very helpful. They have done their best to provide me a heating body in the room since the central heating in the room has not functioned during my stay ( 3 days ) The food in the restaurant was very delicious

I did not like the first room that was booked under my name. It had a view of a closed internal part—the mezzanine inside the building. I was lucky that there was one free room and the possibility to change the previous room in the middle of the night ( my arrival at the hotel was at midnight). Unfortunately, the second ( changed room) was without heating on the first floor as well, during my stay ( 3 days ). The outside temperature was 3 Celsius.

Hotel is centrally located in Katowice from Katowice train station it is approximately 15 minute walk to the Hotel. Best Western Hotel Mariacki is located on a street where there are bars and restaurants so it is easy to find somewhere to eat and go for drinks. Single room was compact, clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, great choice for everyone and very fresh. The receptionists also recommended us places to eat and were very kind and friendly. We ate dinner in the restaurant beside the hotel and food was excellent. We enjoyed our short stay and I would stay at this hotel again.

Everything was perfect for me. However as Hotel is located on a street with bars and restaurants there might be some street noise but from my room there was very little.

The hotel was very centrally located in Mariacki street which was a 10-15minute walk from the main station and shopping mall, were the main square is also there with the Christmas market Breakfast was extra charge and we eventually decided to take it but was worth it you got many options to choose from and we certainly not dissapointed.

Cannot say much only negative we wanted to get something to eat at 21:45 but were informed by thei waiter that the restaurant kitchen closes at 22:00 which technically we could have been able to order something simple or perhaps when checking in they could state this about kitchen closing 22:00. Did not want to be fussy and there are however many takeway/fast food places around the hotel (the barthere closes 23:00 so we managed to have a drink)

Recently, I had the opportunity to stay at Best Western Hotel Mariacki in Katowice, and my experience was simply extraordinary. Room: I was impressed by the cleanliness of the room. Everything was spotless, providing a sense of comfort and security. Staff: The hotel staff were extremely kind and professional. They were always ready to help and answer any questions or needs I had. Restaurant: As a beer enthusiast, I had the distinct pleasure of enjoying the beers offered by the hotel's restaurant, which includes a mini-brewery on the ground floor. This unique feature added a special touch to my stay. A Gesture of Appreciation: I would like to extend a special thanks to the staff for a particularly considerate gesture. After leaving, I realized I had forgotten my phone charger in the room. The hotel team was incredibly kind, sending me the charger by mail. In conclusion, I highly recommend Best Western Hotel Mariacki to anyone visiting Katowice, whether it's for business or pleasure. My experience was memorable, and the quality of service and attention to detail exceeded my expectations. I will definitely return!

I spent four nights in the hotel for a conference. The staff was very friendly - my suitcase arrived late because of a very short transfer and the hotel staff received it and it was waiting in my room after dinner. Housekeeping is great and the rooms are well equipped. There were two bottles of water in my room that were replaced every day. The room had an iron and ironing board, which was very convenient.

Mattresses were comfy but the the blankets are very warm, so maybe not ideal if you prefer it cool at night. A mini fridge would have been great. If you are a light sleeper, this hotel might not be the best for you during the weekend, particularly Saturday. It is in a very lively street with many bars and pubs. If there is a live band playing on the street, you will hear the bass until late in the night, even with the provided earplugs. This is nothing that the hotel can change, but it is something travelers should be aware of.

Excellent hotel in good situation. Because of the launching of a car rally that evening the road in front of the hotel was closed but the staff were helpful in sorting it out. Very comfortable room and bed. The staff also put themselves out to accommodate us for a 2nd night which we hadn't previously booked. Excellent dining room and menu and breakfast equally as good.

Nothing except there was a genuine fire alarm early in the morning and the very load announcements were only in Polish, so it was difficult to know what to do.

Modern clean hotel, located with a short walking from the main railway station. Surrounded by dozens of bars and restaurants. Reception staff, maids and kitchen team were very friendly. The room itself located on the 5th floor was spotless and good sized. Soundproofed, with comfy beds, flat tv, fast WiFi connection. The only downside was lack of mini fridge and shower door that could hardly be open and closed. Overall place highly recommended and we'll definitely come back.

This hotel was the highlight of the whole business trip. The hotel itself is a good clean and modern hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. In the lobby they sell nice local souveigneirs. The staff is very friendly and helpful. On the ground floor there is a restaurant and brewery - which is definitely a highlight both for breakfast and dinner that I had with colleagues. I loved both the design and the food served. The breakfast is one of my all time highlights ever. They not only present all kind of regular hotel breakfast varieties, but also offer local specialities and a huge choice of juices. After the first visit my colleagues and I agreed to book the hotel again during our business trip.

I wanted to order the big tomahawk steak for dinner in the restaurant and unfortunately it takes 1,5 hours to prepare it, so either telling the restaurant in advance or taking according time is needed. In my case I had to take an other dish (that tasted excellent), but still a bit sad.

It’s a nice small hotel right in the touristic area, so all the bars and cafes are within 2 min walk. We stayed during the weekdays, so there wasn’t any noise from surrounding bars/clubs (people texting about it in reviews probably stayed on Friday, so keep that in mind). The hotel staff was nice and polite, the room was small, but good and clean.

The only thing was that the shower wasn’t tightened well and kept falling, so we had to keep it on the floor.
