Excellent swimming pool with a lot of place to enjoy the sun and the pool area. Also possibilities to fitness or even take Turkish bath. Very fine breakfast with a lot of choice, very fresh and tasteful food to choose from, we really appreciated this start of the day. As a location the hotel in Abrantes is perfectly suited to visit Tomar, Coimbra, Fatima, Batalha, Acobaca, etc. A lot to see in the area and not that far away (excellent place to start your trip).

Due to a technical glitch the wifi was unavailable in the rooms (only working at the reception). Which was a bit less comfortable... but this will probably be repaired soon. No other remarks to be made.

many things i liked about this hotel: - view - terrace - good breakfast - very polite, nice, welcoming staff - room is beautiful, wide and bright. lightning is also good, not dimly lit. - shower has everything u need, except toothpaste and toothbrush :D - there is also bottle of waters, teabags, teapot, cups in the room - wardrobe has many hangers - there is also a refrigerator, locker - clean everywhere in the hotel - 10-15mins walk from city centre - nice pizza store nearby

getting to the hotel was a struggling journey. barely found a taxi from the train station. actually hotel offers taxi services, i just didnt know what time i am arriving and no wifi at the station. but u can contact hotel and they can arrange a pick up for you even from the airport.

Probably one of the best hotels I've stayed in for the money. Excellent room. Excellent breakfast. Excellent staff .

This is not a criticism of the hotel in any way. The town is very quiet. There was a very limited number of places to eat. If you don't have a car you may struggle. There is a restaurant in the hotel plus another Michelin rated restaurant close by. Both are expensive but offer excellent food. We eat in the hotel on the first night. The food is outstanding but not cheap.

Our favourite hotel on our trip, which included a night in a Parador in Spain. The Luna was better - might not have the grandeur of a typical Parador but in every other aspect it was excellent. The staff were, without exception, lovely, friendly and more than helpful, our room was spacious with a balcony and terrific views, spotlessly clean linen and towels, a fabulous evening meal, fantastic breakfast buffet, nice parking area outside where our motorcycle felt safe and secure. Unfortunately, we were only there for one night otherwise we would have made use of the pool and spa facilities. Of the 13 places we stayed on our trip this was the best!

Honestly, I can't really fault it - maybe the overpowering smell of cleaning products in the corridor and room when we first arrived? But that really is nit-picking!

We booked at the last minute and we happy to have a very nice room. We also had dinner there that evening and breakfast came with the cost of the room. Both meals were very nice. Great views and the rooms were quiet.

The drain in the shower was draining slowly, so when you were in the shower you were standing in a pool of water. The restaurant when we had dinner was quite warm. The only other thing would be the eggs were cold for breakfast.

Well cared for hotel, rooms and public areas all clean and in great condition. Lovely views from the hotel and beautiful lounge and breakfast room. Very nice breakfast plus good parking. Excellent value for money.

I enjoyed everything however I can not comment on meals as I only had breakfast in hotel. Swimming pool was closed in April which I was aware of before booking so no complaint about that.

This was an excellent place to stay on a cycle tour along the N2. Bike storage was no problem: a friendly member of staff guided us to a locked room near the swimming pool. Nice hotel, too, at the top of the hill on which the town sits (with a steep climb to get there), with a nice pool and fine views. A short walk from the centre of town.

There was little to dislike.

Location, it was my first time in Abrantes, I have never heard of it before. What a beautiful place and the view from there is so special. The location of the hotel, you just have to se it to belief me.

I cannot think of anything. I wishef that I have stayed longer than two nights, but I have to come back to see more.

Beautiful old retro hotel must be the best in Abrantes. Rooms are spacious, small patio each. Lounge us spacious and has a beautiful view. Fabulous large swimming pool and the hotel great views - it's on a hill. Breakfast was fine. Not the friendliest staff, i think English is a barrier, and they haven't been able to assist with bus and train queries. A bit apathetic.

Soraia at reception was helpeful, welcoming and friendly. At the restaurant Abel and Ana were the perfect staff. Service and food both breakfast and dinner were first class. The swimming pool is well maintained,clean and a good size with separate pool for children. Overall an excellent experience. We highly recomend.
