We enjoyed our time here and would recommend. Andrew and Helene were friendly and accommodating hosts. Checkin/out process was easy. Room 3 on 2nd floor with private washroom and balcony. Comfortable bed, great shower (one of the largest I’ve seen in Europe) and good room size. Clean accommodations with in room AC. Our room had the Juliette balcony so you could get a nice view of outside with lots of sunshine. The rooms are above the main square so you will wake up and fall asleep to muffled conversation (could be louder if there is an event happening) but ear plugs helped for us. There are steps leading to the rooms but they are nothing compared to the hills and steps of Portugal! I stayed while pregnant and had no issues.

Absolutely fantastic stay at Suites @ Portarade. We asked for the room with the bath, and a dressing table as preference, we got just that and more. There was even a fridge in the room when we got there which we didn't realise would be so handy! It was the little touches for me... on Day 1 the cleaner had seen the way I had unpacked and made myself at home, and chose to add to that by adding extra items to the dressing table, like a pot to store all of my hairbrushes in, and containers to stand all of my makeup in, it really did make me smile! :-) Location is great, and the added 10% off in the restaurant and breakfast was a bonus. Food was delicious, staff were amazing, honestly couldn't fault our stay! Thank you Andrew & team!

Set in a bustling plaza, the location couldn't have been better. Easy walking distance to a good selection of restaurants and bars. The owners were very helpful, and provided us with a discount card for several family-owned eateries nearby. As the room looked out on the square, it did get quite noisy at night.

I was charged € 27.50 on a € 100 withdrawal from the ATM machine near the front entrance of the hotel, even though I have a Portuguese bank account. Do not use this ATM machine, you will be ripped off, look for a Multibanco machine in Portimao. Also the fridge in the room did not work.

Location right in the middle of Ferragudo

The position is perfect, very close to extremely nice restaurants and the most beautiful beach, or should I say several of them. The room was really nice, clean and everything worked. What we really liked was the central area in the apartments, with free coffee, tea, wine fruit and so on. The friendly staff, in particular the wonderful lady taking care of our room on a daily basis, even providing us with swimming towels which we forgot!! Andrew, the owner, took the time to check-in with us, which is not always the norm. In short, highly recommended establishment.

It's an excellent location, in amongst lots of bars & restaurants, but only about 12 mins from Praia Grande beach which is beautiful with some lovely beach bars. The room was spotlessly clean & the maid even left us little boxes to keep our toiletries tidy. I took my own hair dryer but didn't need to use it as there is a very good one with a nozzle in the bathroom. There was a communal area in the entrance with complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits & fruit. The only thing we bought was fresh milk from a little convenience store opposite to keep in the communal fridge (they even provide sticky labels so you can put your name on it). I went for a few days with my friend & for two ladies on their own we felt very safe. We were even given a10% discount card to use on food & drinks in the local restaurants in the square. Andrew, the owner, was very friendly & helpful.

The only thing some people might not like is the fact that you are in amongst restaurants & bars, so it is obviously a bit noisy at night. It didn't bother us as we didn't go to bed early & when you've finished eating & drinking it's literally a few steps home

The property is perfectly located on the Square with a great selection of restaurants. The Portarade Restaurant is first class. Our room was very comfortable, immaculate and tastefully decorated. All staff were very attentive and helpful . The communal lounge area offers the facility to make tea, coffee etc. The beach is a short walk and where there are good quality beach restaurants. Lovely room.. Excellently located and had air-conditioning. Had a lovely little communal area with sofa and fridge and little note saying please eat and drink, with. Biscuits etc. Very nice touch. Very friendly staff and excellent cleaner

Everything on the doorstep. Very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Made us very welcome.

The suite had everything we needed and lots of closet space. The staff was lovely, room was cleaned everyday. Perfect for a short stay!

It could get a bit noisy because the room is located above a busy square. However, we stayed for 3 nights and only had to wear earplugs once, so it was fine.
