This is a beautifully restored older building right in the center of things. The owner was delightful.

This is not the place to stay is one has mobility problems as it is necessary to climb at least 1 flight of stairs and perhaps more (depending on the room). Our room was also noisy because of the location on a major street. Traffic noise continues until about 11 pm ad begins again by about 7 am so this is not the place if you want to go to sleep early or sleep in in the morning. The TV was a little quirky.

- Overall cleanliness - Breakfast was very good, although there’s room for improvement in the warm items and juices - Excellent bathroom, although more hooks would’ve been useful - Terrific sound proofing from outside noises - Location was pretty good even though it’s not in the main tourist areas (it’s very well connected though, with Metro and commuter train stations nearby). Campo Pequeño however has quite a few attractions on its own. - Helpful and nice staff

- Not the friendliest street location to park a car, although they have their own private parking - Storage / closet room could’ve been better

comfortable bed, clean nice breakfast, close to metro

Some male staff seemed to have lack of knowledge about tourist attraction , ( when I asked he just handle a tour pamphlet!). Other day when I asked how to get to Belém as metro was not working he suggested to walk to other 1.5 km station ( which was actually closed too). On the way back to hotel a stranger at front of hotel advised me to take direct a bus just 3 min walking from hotel. Why your employer does not have such knowledge working in tourist hotel??Also I stayed 9 nights in this hotel and only after 4 nights I discovered( by curtesy of one nice woman employee /receptionist advised me kindly that a cattle is available at the reception . on anther hand few young employees where very polite, opening doors helping with language ( One was Gabriel, sorry forgo name of other)

Once through the lobby the hotel was comfortable and pleasant. Rooms very clean, beds comfy. Price was good, near metro and the neighborhood felt safe and lively. The converted bullfighting ring across the street offered eateries with great happy hour specials.

Other than a vending machine dispensing instant coffee, with no option for no sugar, there is no option in the hotel for any hot drinks. It isn't even possible to purchase only coffee during breakfast service. A kettle in the room would be so welcome or make one of the coffee machines in the breakfast room available to guests. The lobby has a unwelcoming, cold atmosphere with the staff appearing more as security than hospitality. They were all pleasant to deal with but the lobby could have warmer lighting, lower TV volume, plants etc.

Good location, easy access for train and metro. Such lovely staff, very helpful

The breakfast; hot food was cold, poor choice but the hotel was quiet so maybe didn’t want to waste much. Rooms are in the small side with shortage of storage space; 4 hangers in each room, no shelves or drawers so double rooms only really cater for one person.

The room, bed and facilities were better than I expected. It is a very nice hotel that feels better than 3 starts. The breakfast was good. The kitchen staff very friendly. The breakfast was included but I was going to leave before the breakfast time. Nevertheless they gave a breakfast box. That was a nice surprise. The metro and bus station is very near so it is easy to go the center or to the airport. I recommend this hotel.

Unfortunately, at the moment they are doing renovations. So it is quite loud from 10 to 7 pm. I was informed several times before after booking. I thank the staff for that. But it might still be a small inconvenient for some people.

Location was excellent, metro, park & theatre with underground small shopping centre with food courts just across the road ( with underground parking lot) , cafes and continente supermarket beyond the theatre). Room was with lots of space, newly renovated, user friendly new light switches, air conditioning with more than enough warm air during chilly nights. Room was quiet though renovation work going at daytime except holiday, the noises was not loud in my room. The room was backyard view, with distance from opposite buildings. The bathroom's big sink was all ceramic made, very rare in nowadays hotels. There was bell boy open the door for you.

The desk & luggage bench with glasses surfaces which were with sharp corners, might hurt guests. The thermoelectric cooler slided out the wardrobe when I opened the cooler 's door, the front legs of the cooler could sit on rounded head screws to fix the problem. The cooler was not cold enough as conventional small refrigerators ( made in Portugal, quiet & freezing at freezer ) that I stayed in previous hotels.

We loved the hotel. It was really connected and within the city limits. The staff and service was really great. No problem with late checkin. The breakfast was bit pricey when we heard about it but it was totally worth it. 8.5 EUR/person and they have a lot of pastries and english breakfast disches and were really good. The hotel was under a maintenance and the staff informed of probable noises due tot it. Room was really comfy and air conditioned and clean.

None. We liked the hotel so much. The staff was super friendly. Nothing to complain about. Might be a bit pricey.

The room was very spacious and the location was convenient for the specifics of my trip. Extremely good value for money.

Parts of the hotel were under reconstruction, so there was a bit of noise but it was limited to the public areas and from 10h00 to 17h00 and we were forewarned so not a problem. Staff were extremely friendly. Access (because of the works) was less than ideal but that's a temporary problem. The access ramp to the garage was extremely tight. Breakfast was OK, but not more than OK, though again the staff were extremely nice and friendly.
