The bar on New Years Eve,was a total shambles. We decided to have a drink around 22.00 going to the reception to ask a lady for a drink. Well this is when it all went wrong, she could only sell bottled beers,which we didn't want so asked for Gin and tonics,the reply can't serve them don't know how to pour them. Only beers from the fridge,she explained. Okay I'll have a bottle of wine from the menu on the bar then, sorry not sure which one she replied or what price to charge. To which I replied, the price is on the menu. Sorry not allowed to serve that either, she insisted beer or nothing, to which I said goodnight... It seems the hotel really needs to pay attention to some serious staff training of this particular unhelpful individual...

An excellent breakfast, hot and cold selection. However, why cook quality ingredients and then spoil it with an inadequate way of keeping it hot. Also the plates for your hot items are not kept hot. This is really basic stuff ! We will return, and this one problem "we hope" will be rectified. This is the only thing "wrong", very little considering what some so called 4 and 5 star hotels are like.

I spent a few beautiful weeks in the Algarve at the end of 2024. I traveled the entire southern and SW coast. Also the SE border with Spain. I tried to get to know the local people, customs, nature... I like the local market, the local simple food, fish. Until mid-December I was swimming regularly and beautifully. I lived in different places, always for a few days. For all this, the accommodation in Loule Jardim Hotel offered me ideal conditions: communication with the staff, equipment, peace, accessibility, parking space. Thank you.

Great location, free secure parking. We had a 4th floor room with wrap around balcony, superb views. Staff good, room clean, English speaking TV channels, no complaints. We would definitely stay in this hotel again.👍

Breakfast was good with plenty of choice, however, the staff don't keep ontop of the hot food, it runs out quickly. They did top it up, eventually and it did taste good. As we had plenty of time we were able to wait for the food to be replenished. Lots of fruit and cereals. Decent coffee, cakes and breads. Breakfast tables could do with being cleared a little quicker. Guests were moving used pots and cutlery onto other tables to enable them to sit at their favourite table, it seemed to be the norm and all part of the quirky, quaint character of this lovely traditional hotel.

Hotel location is at quiet area near a very small park and it is in walking distance to city center. There are plenty of free parking slots around the small park. Our room has large windows facing the small park, very pleased. Room has computer desk, round table, bed table, a single sofa and a big bed. Lots of space to move around and store stuff. Bathroom is big too. There is an air heater in the bathroom so it can be warmed very quickly before shower. The light system for the bathroom is stupid though, need to follow certain sequence to turn on and off the lights using the 4 switches on the wall. Took us quite a while to figure it out. There is a nice roof with terrace and an indoor swimming pool. Although we Didnot use the pool but the room for the swimming pool felt very warm in winter. We did enjoy the sunshine and the view on the terrace. The breakfast room on the ground floor is very nice in a sunroom with greens. Breakfast is great, many options. There are also nice sitting area on the ground floor next to the breakfast room.

It is nearly perfect but one thing we did find annoyed: there is coffee machine in the room but we need to buy the capsules (1euro each) separately from the front desk. It is not a common type of capsules (called Delta) so not worthwhile to buy from supermarket, although I do know the price is around 4 euro for 10 capsules from supermarket. I donot think it is worthwhile to cause inconvenience and hence negative impression from guests for 0.6 euro margin. This was the only unpleasant moment we had there. Could easily be avoided.

Room was perfect. I was initially worried as there is a garden out the front with people talking loudly but it soon quietened down and i slept perfectly every night! I was 8 seconds walk from the pool (I counted :-)) so that was ideal. I would ask to be on the third floor again next time i visit.

The only thing I didn't like was the car park, however, i soon got used to the challenge of parking :-) I don't think anyone that's even slightly nervous about driving could park in it, especially if you have a larger car / van. There's nothing i didn;t like :-)

The hotel is walking distance from the centre of Loulé and there’s a nice café with many locals next to the hotel. The swimming pool area on the roof is very nice to wind down. The staff is welcoming and friendly. In the evenings the hotelbar is open for drinks, which we really enjoyed! There’s lots of choice during breakfast, with many fresh pastries. Our room was clean with enough space for two people and luggage, and we had very comfy beds.

We really did not like the coffee, I would recommend hand made espresso or a better machine. The airco’s were noisy, even in quiet mode.

The pool could have been open earlier as it opens at 9.00 which is around the same time as breakfast. We would prefer to have an early swim before the sun becomes too harsh. Perhaps could be opened at 7.00 allowing for a quick swim before breakfast

Very nice hotel, superb location. Great breakfast (but not the coffee) with large variety of breads, fruits, diary, eggs and other cooked stuff, cakes, teabags. Swimming pool, gym, launge, bars, office section. Parking nearby or on the streets.

Rather pricy (on the high seazon). Both coffee machines for breakfast are nesscafe, while the brewed coffee pot was mostly empty (or almost empty and cold). When asked for a new brew, the kitchen attendant seemed to be annoyed, even though there was over half 45 min before breakfast closing. So for the rest of my mornings, I just gave up...

This was our 2nd time staying at this hotel, and it seems to have gotten a facelift since the last time we stayed. We were pleasantly surprised by the state of the rooms: clean and the one with the standing shower seemingly renovated. Beds were enormous, immaculate and very comfortable. Breakfast, as usual, was plentiful and delicious, with a great variety that was constantly being refreshed by staff. We loved taking advantage of the heated, covered pool this time; it was tranquil and our girls really enjoyed it. We didn't realize the property has a gym, which was a wonderful surprise. Front desk staff was as friendly and responsive as ever; we felt at home as soon as we walked through the door. Secured parking was a huge plus. We've definitely found our spot in Loule!

One of our rooms still felt a little dated in comparison to the other; the front door stuck, the shower had some problems switching between faucet and showerhead, and we could not get internet to connect in that room at all. Thankfully, it wasn't a big deal, as we had 2 rooms.
