Superior room was large, well equipped (sofa etc) and nice and quiet (rural location 2km out of town). Helpful staff, nice garden and pool area and good breakfasts al fresco. Free Wifi and parking. Bike hire was easy. Hotel free shuttle bus down to Quarteira beach 4 times a day. Ubers readily available which we used to go on a day hike in the hills a few miles away. Nice traditional taverna just a couple of hundred metres south for an alternative evening meal. All in all a very good inexpensive 3-star hotel.

Maybe not the best location for family summer/beach holidays (albeit the Aqua Park is only 1km up the road) but for people like us on a walking/cycling break, or say touring the central Algarve it proved an ideal base.

From the booking in day to the departure day all the staff were excellent and very helpful. The family size room was spacious and clean, the swimming pool was superb even though the water temperature was cold, the pool was not advertised as "Heated" and therefore it was what I expected during October. The menu was a little limited on occasions and repeated on some days, the food however was always well presented and for a three-star hotel, was most acceptable.

Soft close toilet seat would have been nice to avoid the noise when it is used, particularly during the middle of the night when you are half asleep and trying to be quiet.

Loved the pool it was over 2 meters deep and had plenty of space to play water games. There was also plenty of sun beds for everyone. The bar was accessible at all times near the pool and the beer was in a good price. Lovely staff, the reception members were really helpful when it came to any inquires with the room, renting a car or ordering a taxi. A lady at reception managed to get us a car on a short 1 hour notice during a busy weekend period. 10/10! :)

The room was very nice and very clean . The bed was really comfortable. The prices at the place were reasonable. Breakfast was a typical continental . However there was always something to eat.

Hotel offered what I was needing for the trip and would definitely use again. The room was adequate. The breakfast offered a very good choice.

Nothing over my stay was not acceptable. I would only be picky to say, I was out of season so was not expecting evening entertainment.

clean, functional and good size rooms, which are out of town so provides a quiet area to relax. The guy on the bar during snack time 11 til 3 provided exceptional service and helped entertain the children whilst serving wonderful cocktails

although the decor looks dated it does provide a certain charm

The helpfulness of the staff, so accommodating. The rooms were cleaned every day and cleaners were lovely. The receptionists could not do enough for you , a most enjoyable atay

The only thing that let our stay down was the food. They so need a new chef .

The staff, especially bar staff and reception were exceptional, smiley, friendly, helpful and we felt welcome and relaxed. Food was good, drinks better 😋

The beds in our room had boards under them to keep the mattress up so a little sore the next day , the hotel could do with a little love but the service and location far out weigh this.

Nice clean room, lovely bathroom and cosy bed. Always managed to get a subbed. Nice pool bar and pool area. Helpful staff.

There were lots of tiny ants which isn’t the hotels fault but they were in our room.

Good location, excellent service, great pool area. Good choice for breakfast and lunch.

Not a lot of choice for evening meal.
