The room was exactly as I expected and what I booked for. The bed was nice, also for my (taller) size. Although the room was on the street side, there was no noise, other than people in the hallway. Shower was also fine, and everything was spotless clean.

Because the room was located at the shadow part of the building, it was quite cold in my room. I usually don't use airco (heating), but there was no other option. It took long to make the room feel somewhat comfortable.

Lovely location next to the River Guadiana Some rooms have a rear terrace which overlook the River and part of the town. Peaceful, tranquil. Parking available down the hill behind Hotel Museu next door which has the same owners. (Parking outside on the road is also an option but on a cobbled hill which is quite narrow) Good location for exploring the town and the ancient castle which towers above. Nice outside drinking area which offers drinks and snacks throughout the day. Hotel is signed as you you get into town.

The fact that the reception in this hotel is not staffed, you have to go to Hotel Museu next door down the hill. You are not made aware of this until you arrive and even then, there is only a small note which we (and others) missed. Sometimes, the Hotel Museu reception area can be without staff for a short period.

The room was clean and bright with a great view of the river. It is a great location with easy access to the castle and local restaurants within walking distance. There is on street parking as well as a designated parking lot, and we did not use our car during our stay as everything is close at hand and walkable.

The check-in was a little confusing as there was a sign on the door indicating that check in was at a different location, but did not indicate where. As it turns out, it was right next door, but arriving late and tired, it took us a little bit to figure it our and this was one extra step that was a little frustrating.

Location. We were upgraded to a river view with a terrace. Bedrooms and bathroom had been renovated since our last stay, which made it better value for money. Card entry good.

Noisy air conditioning, which when reached temperature went cold. No duvet on the bed, cold over night in January. In morning lots of condensation on the window with a pool of water. This was a disabled room and therefore could have caused someone to slip.

We had booked a room with a street view, but the owner upgraded us (at no cost!!) to a river view room. The river view rooms are worth the premium - not only is the view wonderful, but they come with a great private balcony and are on the ground level (so no stairs to climb!). The room was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The bar/patio is a comfortable place to relax with a drink and snacks while watching the river flow by. The location is convenient for the sites and great restaurants.

We really don't have any complaints. There is only on-street parking, but we found a spot right outside the guest house, so this wasn't a problem.

The hotel is very well located, close to both the river and the old town. The room was small but charming, clean, comfortable and well equipped (including air con / heating). Free parking, helpful staff.

The room itself was quiet, but we could hear people walking/talking in the corridor quite loudly. Other than that everything was very good.

The view was amazing over the river. The staff was very friendly and informed me about the museum in the hotel next to eat also the facilities. There is a little restaurant where you can have some traditional Portuguese food, craft beer and good wine.

There was nothing i didn't like. Maybe it's less accessible for people in a wheelchair because you have the inbetween floors and maybe for some people the location is too silent? For me it was perfect to relax enjoy the views over the river and hiking around the mountains nearby.

Great little hotel, brilliantly located in the parc natural. Lovely staff who could not have been more helpful, there are many restaurants and bars nearby. The locals were very welcoming on the whole and the food is a real experience. The views from the room was exceptional. The pool was officially closed until April as it is considered too cold but I was allowed to use it as I love cold water swimming and it was wonderful. We are definitely going to return.

The hotel is situated on a tranquil street close to the river. It requires a short walk to reach the restaurants and the city center, which is manageable but worth being aware of. Free parking around the hotel is easy to find. Our bedroom had a spacious terrace.

The staff at the bar was not always available, and it sometimes took a while to get a drink or pool towels. The pool area was often crowded.

Great hotel, clean, comfortable rooms with clean linens and towels. Great rain shower. It is very clean and very quiet. Location is great, below the castle and on the side of the river. Easy to walk to the castle from the hotel. There is a parking lot beside with quite a few spots and street parking as well. Check in was easy at Musee Hotel right beside. You can buy breakfast but we didn't.
