Beautiful place to stay for some rest, Gardens and surrounding areas well maintained, lots of space for peace, lovely smell of rosemary through. Great size rooms with balcony or terrace. Lovely pool to cool down in. Pedro at the bar was friendly and made great cocktails. Had dinner in the restaurant was beautifully cooked - even got given a birthday cake with a candle for dessert.

Nothing to do with the hotel itself- the only part was when you leave the hotel and come out onto the main road, you are in a blind spot for seeing oncoming traffic the mirror across the road is little help

Hotel is absolutelly fantastic. Located on top of the hills. Beautifull view. Countryside. Orange trees. We walked through them. This place have special energy. Silence. You fill so relaxed. Other people who come to this place were positive, polite, friendly. Hotel staff is so kind. They pay attention to each visitor. Super kind and positive people in restaurant. All of them. At breakfast, lunch and dinner. We filled so welcomed here. Delicious food. Excellent dinner. Definitely will come back on my next trip to Portugal.

Pool was on reconstruction. But this did not damage our feeling at all. We had sunbeds. It was in March. Weather was so beautiful day time. Evenings bit colder. Our stay was excellent.

My husband and I loved our getaway for a night. The room was on the first floor overlooking the pool and countryside. The restaurant food was lovely and such high quality. The breakfast had so many choices too. There was water, coffee and tea in the room with a balcony to enjoy the sunset. There was little walks around the place, animals, swing and hammock to enjoy.

We went late December so the pool was closed but it didn’t bother us as it would have been freezing.

This hotel was literally a breath of fresh air because of its beautiful rural location. Our room had a small veranda/balcony and overlooked the local olive farms. It was a perfect antidote to 5 days of city touring. They had a pleasant dining room with big picture windows where we had our breakfast. There was also a very nice swimming pool but we didn't have time to use it. The hotel wasn't far from the lovely little town of Tavira with all its restaurants.

A great place to stay for a few days on holiday. Very nice, well maintained surroundings. 2 excellent swimming pools and a jacuzzi. The staff are extremely attentive and friendly to guests. The food in the restaurant is excellent, we enjoyed the local food. The rooms are large and tidy. We were looking for a place that could offer beds instead of extra sofas and we got what we expected, which we are happy about (when choosing a trip with children). Every room (as far as we could see) has a terrace or balcony where you can have a cosy evening.

Marvellous place. Very calm and peaceful. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The room was cozy, spacious and warm, we had a little terrace, a great place to relax in the sun. The views are fantastic over there. Our kids liked feeding animals very much and the person who helped us was very kind to kids.

Absolutely nothing

the large light-filled room was delightful - it even has a bath! - with a terrace overlooking the beautiful countryside and the pool and spa area. the steam rooms/sauna are great and massages are available on request. it’s a large area of nature reserve and much of the produce is grown onsite. dinner was excellent, the local wine very good and at breakfast there’s the opportunity to eat al fresco. there are lots of animals here - a donkey, cats, sheep, rare breed hens etc. which we really loved. this is just a glorious place

What a beautiful place, so typical Portuguese and the animals just give it that special and warm feeling like home. The staff were just out of this world! So kind and welcoming! Especially Pedro, with his Algarvian sass! They went above and beyond with our special requests. We hope to come back one day. As this was by far the best place we have ever stayed in Portugal! (Having lived there for 15 years 8years ago, we visit Portugal every year) The food was soooo tasty, offering a different meat, fish and even vegan dish everyday! We enjoyed the included breakfast buffet very much every morning! MUITO OBRIGADA AO STAFF ❤️

Tranquil & peaceful

There was not much not to like, we we’re disappointed with the festive atmosphere- no crackers on the table & no Christmassy music - for the price the menus for Christmas Eve & Christmas Day could have been a little more, however, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the staff were exceptional!

The service was exceptional from the waiter at the restaurant to Ramesh who helped the children feed the animals. The breakfast was more than adequate with freshly scrambled eggs as opposed to powered eggs you sometimes get in hotels and amazing fresh orange juice.

Nothing. It’s not Uber modern but you don’t go there for that style.
