Great value and a great price. We were staying with kids and rented 2 rooms. I asked in a special request section to locate us closer to each other and the host took care of that. I’m super thankful. We also arrived at noon and were given the keys from our rooms early, s we could leave bags and go explore the island. Rooms are clean and fresh, bathrooms are modern. It’s a great value for the price. Would stay here again.

Accommodation is in a central location, less than a five minute walk from the port. The room was clean and a good size. Staff were friendly and helpful, allowing us to check out late and organising a taxi for us. The continental breakfast buffet consisted of bread, pastries, cereal, fruit and yoghurt and was plentiful.

Breakfast is only served between 8am and 9:30am which was a little earlier than we would have liked.

Ideal location, friendly staff, very clean! Really good value for money. The rooms were cleaned every day which was a pleasant surprise. Google translated "hospedaria" to "hostel" but this is actually a small b&b. Quiet rooms despite central location. The pizzeria downstairs is good and popular. Comfy bed.

Breakfast was basic continental (toast, jams, fruit) and wifi signal was weak in the room - but these are minor points! We would stay again.

The accomodation was very nice and the air-conditioning was a life saver at night. They were very kind, always trying to provide an helping hand. The accomodations have a restaurant (pizza place) with really good pizzas. This is where you also take your breakfast. We had plans for leaving early in the first day (to visit the island) and they kindly prepared us bags with breakfast for the trip (!) since we where leaving prior to when breakfast would be available.

The bed was a little small for me (I’m 1.86m tall) I would have loved a small refrigerator in the room

Very nice staff, location is really good for time in the city and arriving/departing via ferry. Room was cleaned and made everyday. Shower was great, big enough to shower comfortably and with a rain shower head.

The location is perfect. The room was renovated and very clean. The owners are very nice people, helpful. We had certain issues with our vacation planing and they actively found a way how to ease our inconvenience for our satisfaction. The family runs the hotel for more than 40 years.

great, simple, clean hostel/hotel in the center of town. great price. quiet. there is not a way on Trip Advisor to distinguish between the quality of luxury and 2/3 star hotels. This is not a luxury hotel and it has everything travelers need: clean rooms, private bath, hot water, peace and quiet, central location.

Well located in the centre of Velas. Very kind and welcoming staff. Even helped with my luggage! Let me use the room early, which was a great relief since I was a feeling bit seasick!

The shower pressure was a little low.
