We've chosen what Booking offers as a "house", which is in fact a seperated appartment with own kitchen, bathroom and beautiful terrace. So we had great privacy and silence during the night. + great rural location with incredible views to the ocean, the fields and mountains + beautiful hiking tracks and beaches within 20 minutes drive + very friendly and helpful owners + well-equipped kitchen + the breakfast offers a basic choice at fair price and high quality (such as fresh breads, orange juice, home-made marmelade). We "boosted" the breakfast with vegetables and eggs from the local farmers market.

- The dishes were not properly washed by previous guests. We needed to wash nearly all dishes before and after usage. I understand that I should blame those guests and not the hotel, but I consider it as the housekeeper's job to check if dishes are clean and put them into the owner's dish-washer if necessary. That's anyway the better option during Covid. - Note that the only restaurant in walking distance currently works only Thursday to Saturday. On other days you'd need to pass about 8 km for dinner.

The owners, Mário and Rute, are extremely nice and friendly, and very invested in making your stay as pleasent as possible. The rooms are very clean and the common kitchen/living room and the toilettes as well. The hotel is extremely peaceful as there are mostly fields in the surroundings. You can cook or prepare light dishes, and use the kitchen as your own. In the balcony you can watch the beautiful sunset everyday. By night, it's very silent and enjoyable in the garden, and the starry sky is to die for.

We did not have the chance to meet the hosting lady, but her husband Mario is an awesome host - always genuinely smiling when seeing you! Great atmosphere, easy going attitude. For us it was important this time to have the possibility to grill - check. We were looking for a quiet place - check. Rooms cleanliness - 1000% As mentioned in the description, toilets and kitchen are shared - but to be honest with you, there were no clashes in usage, and even with other guests present, it felt like own space. It is an old house, with interesting history (!). So if you are looking for impeccable newest designer interior, choose something else. However, if you are looking for simply relaxing time, search no more. We really recommend and if we are back to the area, we will not search other place!

The doors of the rooms could be potentially be blocking out-of-room noises a bit better, but it was not a big deal - atmosphere was great :)

Very comfortable, spotless bedroom with a shared bathroom....everything squeaky clean. Host was super nice and welcoming. Gabe me excellent suggestion for the are and for my trip. Very close to the beach!! Beautiful sunset! Fantastic stay at an excellent rate!

You can hear other guests moving around. There was a late check in so I couldn't sleep very well. Nothing a good set of ear plugs cannot fix.

Mario and his wife are very warm and welcoming hosts! We were comfortable with a private room and shared bathrooms. One of the showers has an amazing view during sunset. We are hiking the rota vicentina and decided to stop here between Porto Covo and Milfontes instead of doing it in one stretch - the hike is very tough on the sand in this area. I Ka Hale is a bit out of reach but a good option if you have a car. There is also an amazing restaurant nearby called O Amandio.. very recommended!

The location of the hotel is little but outside of a small village, surrounded by fields. It looks cozy, with spacious shared living spaces and a kitchen. Rooms are nice and there are 2 shared bathrooms, which is just enough. The owner is very nice and greeted right upon our arrival.

Rooms can be a bit noisy from the running water and appliances in the bathroom.

it was amazing! the hosts were very friendly! the room was very spacious and clean, as week as the bathrooms and the kitchen. The outside was very good to relax in the hammocks, enjoying the silence and the sun.

as already known from the map, the less good thing is the distance to the center, so you need to have a car. But with a car, it is very easy to come and go.

I spent four days here. The house was clean. My room was nice with a very comfortable bed. Everything around the house is amazing. Mario was very kind.

If I may suggest one thing it would be nice if the towels were newer. Mine were very old and it wasn't pleasant to use them.

This was one of my overnight stays when walking the Rota Vicentina/Fishermen’s Trail. It is a clean and welcoming place, with extremely nice and generous hosts. I got a single room for the price of a hostel bed. Hard to beat a deal like that when walking the Trail. Would come back any time.

Beautiful rural location, wonderful helpful and friendly host, lovely old farmhouse. While the location is a ways away from the nearest town, the surroundings are quiet and pretty. Nice, spacious room. Good value.

The house is old so you will hear noise as people come and go.
