I made a sudden booking without looking into any details. It was convenient and easy to travel. But when I came to stay, I was very impressed even though the outside looked a little old. I like the beds here. The bed is soft and comfortable to sleep. The room is clean, open the door and smell the fresh scent, making you feel very relaxed. I was very impressed by my stay here and think I will definitely come back again.

I have known this hotel since 2004 and I have regularly stayed there when visiting Bangkok (maybe a dozen of stays). Its main quality is its location, very near the Lumpinee MRT underground station, as well as in walking distance from the Silom area. The hotel is already a little old but is well maintained and offers the comfort one expects from a three star establishment. The rooms are quiet, spacious and luminous (I always book a Deluxe room, situated in one of the top floors). The bed is very comfortable. Complimentary water (one bottle for every guest) is offered every day. The breakfast buffet offers a good choice of Asian and European dishes. Two recent improvements: checkout time is now 12:00 (it was 11:00 before); once breakfast time is over (10:00 am), coffee and tea are made freely available in the lobby until noon.

The toilet of the Deluxe room has a bath tub (personally I would prefer a large standing shower). The air conditioning system is centralized, so that the temperature can only be modified regulating the intensity of the blowing (not a major problem).

We are back in South Africa and my kids are still raving about your delicious breakfast. The hotel is located in a great spot as it's so easy to get around with the bus and the trains

Location, roof top area very nice. Nice rooms with good temperature and noise isolation. Good TV's. Customer service very responsive.

Gym was disappointing

The breakfast was excellent, offering a great variety of options to start the day. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

The windows were quite dirty, which was disappointing. It made it a bit unpleasant to look outside, as the glass was marked and smudged. A little more attention to cleanliness would have improved the overall experience.

The hotel is good for price, was clean, staff friendly, pool area is nice.

Could have more selection of food for breakfast, some parts of the hotel are a little dated but all round it was good priced and we would stay here again. If you need Wi-Fi for work ect this is not the hotel as it only works in the lobby and by the pool area! We had no Wi-Fi at all in the room.

Good location, easy to get to the hotel. Very convenient. The hotel is very clean. Staffs are friendly.

The AC didn’t work properly. It took a couple hour to cool the room.

For the price this hotel is excellent. There is always a balance of location facilities and price. It would be nicer to be closer to the centre of town but I can be from inside my room to inside the MBK in the centre of town in 30 minutes. I just accept that instead of 10 minutes walk to the centre it I need to take the excellent Bangkok Metro which takes 30 minutes. In return I am in a lovely hotel with a pool on the roof with a massive room. Also many sites to see are a Metro ride where ever you stay so here is as good as any. Lumphini mrt is a couple of minutes walk and 7-11 at the end of the road and a restaurant road in the other direction. The facilities are very clean. The staff are lovely. After a short visit here I came back for a longer stay and on my arrival the receptionist had prepared two rooms for me to view and choose. The TV in the room is only Thai so I use an HDIM cable to connect the TV to my laptop and vpn to iplayer or watch films off my hard drive. I would recommend this hotel totally. If you want this quality closer to the centre you will pay over 3 times more. The hotel is on 15 floors - I am on 9 and have good city views.

Excellent personal, very friendly and very obliging. Excellent breakfast varying every day and diversified. It was remarkably the free coffee, tea and water for the guests in the lobby area. We felt very good there! The pool is the best way to refresh the heat. The location is also excellent, close to the metro line and bus stop. Walking distance to Lumpinee Park and shopping centers. Wonderful street food just around the corner.

The entrance is currently through the garage because the main entrance is under refurbishment work, but this situation will change and we assume that after the work is finished, the situation will be much better.

The hotel is in a good location within walking distance of Lumpinee Park Metro station. The room was big and clean. I would stay here again.
