The breakfast was sumptuous and diverse, providing enough variety for vegetarians. Wonderful welcome from Steve at the entrance, and efficient service from Alice at the reception. I appreciate their accommodating my early check-in at short notice. Also loved the complementary sauna and steam. Although, I did not manage to get their names, I appreciate the restaurant and cleaning staff as well, they were friendly and responsive. Finally, the abundance of nature at the hotel I. e the trees was a breath of fresh air;it is beautiful when establishments can coexist with nature.

Food was always fresh and greatly cooked..I love the squash court and there was power available generally. The staff were extremely friendly all around the hotel. The rooms were always thoroughly cleaned and properly replenished. The towels and the bedding were always clean and crisp.

It would be great for the hotel to support some local supplies such as the teas and coffees in the rooms rather just the imported brands. It would be great to taste some Zambian teas in the rooms and support the local industry.

I loved that there is a squash court on the premises, there are a lot of sitting areas outside and inside the hotel, making it easier not to be confined only to the room, the grounds were beautiful and i enjoyed the liveliness of the hotel. I lovwd the infusion of local foods in the dininv room, the staff were ever so gentle and kind, and friendly and they all greeted you no matter how many times thry saw you, all of them from the managers to the cleaning crew, i likked the big pool, the location is quite central, i also like the late check out-most hotels check you out early and then you are stuck because your programme only starts later in the day

Curtains in the showers. I think they can invest in glass screens they are more hygienic and ensure less seepage of water to reduce slip accidents in the shower area

Beautiful and centrally located property with an old-world charm. The rooms are pretty spacious and the food is impeccable. Taj hospitality is truly unparalleled. The staff went out of their way to make my stay extremely comfortable. Special thanks to Noah, Alice and Mwape for their kindness and warmth. I will surely stay here for all future visits to Lusaka.

Perhaps the only issue would be the erratic internet, however, the staff was kind enough to provide me with a router. The beds do not have charging points on either side, but you can request housekeeping for an extension chord.

The food in this hotel is exceptional, some of the best in the city. The staff are amazing - top class. It's the staff that make this hotel special. The cleaning staff on our floor were top notch.

The bed was very uncomfortable - the mattress was old and sunk in the middle making it difficult for a couple to sleep. Also, the rooms need updating. The carpet was a little damp (it seemed), we didn't always have hot water, and wifi in our room was bad. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay sure to staff ands restaurant.

Excellent property, spacious rooms, good amenities, friendly staff. Would specially like to mention the great service received from Brenda in the restaurent and the Chef Mohs. Siraj.

Coordination for airport pick-up is extremely bad; Spread of food menu is limited; Some of the restaurent staff is not trained well as they even fail to understand the order properly.

The hotel has a great ambience. Breakfast was good and dinner was also very good. The hotel provides a relaxed environment good for meetings and networking.

Sometimes service during dinner is a bit slow. The hotel should provide for insect repellents as there are a lot of mosquitoes in the evening, especially when one is sitting at the bar area.

The breakfast is still extraordinary, various dishes to choose from, even Indian cuisine. The dosas are exceptionally tasty and truly something to enjoy. Our room had bottled water in the bathroom during Cholera times, thank you for that.

The mattress has reached the end of its life in a hotel room. This was the 2nd time that we had a bed with a mattress that was not firm anymore. Either it has to be turned or better still replaced.

Food & Beverage is always good with plenty of options. The hotel has all the facilities that you could need and definitely a great option to stay when in Lusaka

Nothing to dislike. A few power issues but that's not the properties fault and was easily manageable

I really liked the facility itself, so spacious. But also I liked the staff, they are well trained and they provide friendly and good customer care. Morning breakfast was good, they had fairly enough options for fellas from different cultural backgrounds. The gym is well equipped and the pool is also long and deep enough for casual swimming.

The wi-fi was not stable, it broke most of the time. If you have some sensitive online meetings, you should consider other means of getting connected. Price for drinks at the hotel bar is quite expensive, like double or sometimes triple the normal price. Plus you will have to pay “tourism levy” and “service charge” for every single drink you buy. Accommodation price is reasonably fair. But I paid double tourism levy/fee for every single day I spent there. I am not sure if this was correct or something was wrong with the hotel systems.
