I'd needed to somewhere to stay during my 3-day night shift as my house was undergoing renovation. The hotel's location was fantastic as it was only a 5min walk from the MRT station. The room was small with a single bed, but fulfilled all my needs. The bed was exceptionally comfortable! Although the cleaning staff could not clean the room properly as I had to sleep during her morning cleaning rounds, she put in the effort to check on my needs when we ran into each other in the corridor, and fulfilled all my requests.

I wondered why the blankets were so thick in a country with naturally 20+ to 30+ degree C temperatures year round. On the first day of my stay I woke up multiple times because of the peculiar temperatures - too cold outside the blanket and but yet it was like an oven under the blanket. I had ended up bringing a thin quilt cover from home and turning off the aircon as I slept the subsequent nights. Am I the only one with this problem? I must say, though, that with my quilt cover and the air con turned off, it was the perfect temperature for sleeping in a perfectly comfortable bed.

The outside needs a little freshening up, but the inside is clean and smart. The bedroom was very small, but perfectly formed and had everything I needed in the right place. Great location, walking distance to the major attractions and 2 minutes from a metro station.

The location of Hotel is fantastic. You turn left and after a short walk you are in the middle of Chinatown. You turn right and after a short walk you are close to downtown and/or Marina Sand Hotel area and the Garden by the bay. You leave through the back door and after a short work you have access to the MTR. So again, you can`t get more convenient than this. The bed is really comfortable.

Be aware: the room is tiny - it fits a bit with a small access space on each side (about 20 cm wide on each side). Access to shower and toilet are tight. Don`t bring a big suitcase, there is not much space to put it. If you intend to work from this hotel, be aware that the table is tiny, wifi is ok, but not really great and you most likely will be sitting on a stool or your bed to do the work. This being said, I did not book the room for work purposes, I just wanted somewhere central to sleep and for that, the hotel delivers on every level.

Singapore is a very expensive tourist destiny. I booked this hotel due to room rate and location. Honestly this place is excellent based on the rate you pay for your stay. Walking distance to all main attractions, including China Town. Riverside is just few steps. Outside of the hotel looks pretty bad, but once you get into the facility every place is clean, Friendly staff, etc. I had little incident in my room, once it was reported and the front desk representative checked the room immediately a new room was designated. I do recommend this hotel.

Exceptional aircon and lighting in the room. The water pressure was outstanding. Slippers for the room were a nice touch, and the bed was very comfortable. Staff invited us to enjoy our breakfast in the lobby and to make use of the roof terrace garden. They also offered umbrellas for the rain and helped us with printing documents and storing luggage on our last day after checkout.

Roof terrace garden was underwhelming—not enough seating for two of us to have tea, and the 6 stacked lounge chairs were care worn and stained from birds. Room was very tight which required some finesse to move around and have our stuff in. The best price around, but still very costly.

Location was central, Clark Quay MRT was a stone’s throw away. If there’s a need for buses, there’s one just across the street or on Eu Tong Sen Street depending where one is headed to. Most importantly, there’s a rear access for pick up via an alley way and it’s not applicable for quite a few hotels i.e., Value Hotel Balestier despite it being on a very busy “main street”. If there’s a need for a supermarket it is available at Chinatown Point and there’s quite a couple of hawker centre that’s within walking distance. Overall, I would rate very highly of this hotel given there’s also a waiting area/lobby that I did use while housekeeping was onto it.

There was stain on the duvet but if folded down, it’s easy to ignore. Similar with the towels, there was some kind of rust stain to it but apart from that, everything was as expected. Also, given the rooms are close in proximity, therefore when a door slams, it echoes into the next room but thankfully it wasn’t a prolonged episode.

It is very well located within walking distance to almost everywhere! There are convenience stores, coffee shops, shopping malls and many bars/restaurants near by. As a female solo traveller I felt extremely comfortable. The hotel is small, but cosy and friendly. Staff were super helpful, especially with helping me to communicate with airlines who lost my luggage. The room was small, but comfortable enough for 4 nights stay.

The room was very small and window was facing the offices opposite without any curtains and only had black out blind, so most of the time I had to have the light on.

I loved staying here, even tho it was only for 1 night sadly. The bed is the most comfortable one that I’ve slept in in a really long time. The painting on the walls are so nice, location is so good and the price is really worth it, compared to Singapore’s prices! The best thing for me was the staff, everyone was so friendly and helping. I was feeling really sick after the travel and it was raining badly, so I arrived early in the morning asking if maybe earlier check-in would be possible, and the girl there was so welcoming and nice. They also kept my luggage the whole second day, until my bus at 1.30am, and they helped me carry my luggage downstairs when they saw me struggling in the corridor. Thank you very much!

Clean hotel, friendly staff & convenient location. We chose it mostly for the XL King size bed and it was close to Clarke Quay MRT. The location was so convenient that everything we went to was within walking distance & rarely used the MRT. Extremely cute murals in each of the rooms. I mentioned that it was my fiance & I's anniversary during our stay - the staff congratulated us & left a cute towel swan on our bed.

The hotel seems a bit older, but still extremely clean & has everything working. It's only minor details that people don't usually look into, like slight yellowing in corners of the room. I only noticed since i stayed for a week.
