For a 3 star hotel, it’s not bad at all. The room was a good size and clean enough. The reception lady was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was very decent but don’t expect to fill up for the whole day. One odd thing, the A/C remote had to be picked up from reception. The receptionist was nice enough to bring it to the room after I called.

This is not the hotel’s fault but I thought it’s worth mentioning. Even though our room didn’t face the main road, we could hear throughout the night the hooligans on motorbikes. Not even big bikes, just little engines with big exhausts. The most disappointing things was the city itself. It’s a town falling apart, with many derelict buildings, potholes, etc. If you’re just a tourist, better to avoid.

Stayed for a day on July 7, 2024. A good large hotel on the square, not far from the center. All the necessary attributes: English-speaking friendly reception staff, clean, refrigerators and air conditioners in good condition, elevator, comfortable beds, mattresses and good linen. You will not find any special additional bonuses (slippers, bathrobes). Nevertheless, the range of services is excellent for this price. There are also balconies in each room, which many hotels in the center cannot boast of, as well as parking. And this is an absolute advantage of this hotel. You can quickly walk to the center. There are also many cafes and restaurants around hotel, including McDonald's (was closed for renovation in July) Features: the parking is located behind the hotel on the square. It is not immediately clear how to get to it from the street ( it turned out that you need to drive past the main entrance, which is not very convenient). Some navigation, information signs would not useful. The parking is open, unguarded and I am not sure that if it was full, there would be enough space for everyone. The breakfast is very modest (eggs, sausages, 1 type of cheese and bread, cereal, vegetables) and 2 very strange salads. Like Russian salad - they consist of many meat and vegetable ingredients. Such mixtures can be eaten at home and in expensive restaurants - when you are sure of the composition. Maybe they are tasty from fresh products, but they do not look appetizing - none of the visitors tried them at breakfast that day. I am sure this is not the first time. I think they need to be removed from the menu and spend this money to buy unprocessed products of better quality. Nevertheless, given the overall comfort and affordable price - these are not disadvantages, but features. And I will gladly stay at this hotel again.

Hotel is right in the city center, although at some 1.5 km from the historical city center and some 2 km away from the train station. Beds were confortable, spacious room fitted with all necessary thing, exactly what are you waiting from a hotel room. Baia Mare is a nice city with green suroundings.

Breakfast could contain more salads and vegetables, but otherwise it was very good.

The hotel is located in the city center, with easy access to public transportation. The rooms are large, heating was ok (they also have air conditioning, for the summer), very clean. Helpful personnel, good breakfast.

Nothing to mention, actually. But Booking requires me to write something more here also, so: for breakfast, something sweet was missing from the options.

good location close to old town with trolleybus stop right outside. Friendly and helpful staff. clean comfortable bedroom. Excellent hotel, I would love to stay here again

it was a long walk from the station, shame the hotel does not mention the trolleybus route from the station to the hotel. Breakfast buffet not available which made ordering breakfast interesting

The location of the hotel was great and the staff were super helpful. The room was large enough and so was the bathroom. The minibar whilst on the pricy side came in very handy as we got there quite late.

The room has double-glazed windows but they didn't do much to isolate the noise from outside. All night there were loud cars revving their engines. This is not the fault of the hotel but something to be aware of.

Clean and safe

Had issues with my room. Had to change the room and in the second room they give me, I didn’t have a mini bar, one of the days the hot water didn’t work. I would not stay in the same room again

The breakfast has some vegan and vegetarian options (spreads), dairy products, eggs, charcuterie and desserts. Varied, but don't expect gourmet products - the ingredients quality meets the expectations you would have for a 3star hotel in Eastern Europe.

The design is a little outdated, but it's not unpleasant.

Spacious room with a balcony, kettle, fridge and desk. The receptionist was helpful and friendly, and arranged a taxi for us to Merry Cemetery. There was a breakfast included,, and a lift to thethird floor.

A few quibbles: no case stand or shelves in the wardrobes. Breakfast was so-so.

Great hotel with clean room&big, comfy bed. Good utilities: fridge, heat, water boiler. Big balcony with view towards the city. Close to the city center (~10 minutes) & mini markets. The food from breakfast was tasty. Nice staff.
