I really enjoyed my three night stay at Villa Nobel. The whole place is in top decorative order and my room was spotless. Coffee and tea were complementary in the room as was the basket of toiletries. My white bedlinen and towels felt comfortable. Bucharest can be a little noisy but this boutique hotel is off the main road in a side street. I cannot remember hearing any traffic noise so I slept well. I arrived at midnight from the airport and there was a nice chap waiting to give me my room key and welcome me to Villa Nobel. After staying there I can understand why Villa Nobel has such a high rating on booking.com.

The staff was friendly and they satisfied our requests about late check-in waiting late at night despite reception closing in the evening. The room was comfortable for two or three people and it was clean as you can read on the other ratings. The breakfast was really good with delicious croissant and a good cappuccino.
When we arrived in the bathroom there was a bad smell of sewage, we had to keep the bathroom window open for almost the entire duration of the stay. The shower seal was broken and part of the bathroom was flooded under the sink. Small repairs can definitely improve the overnight stay .

Great location in the heart of Bucharest. Parking on the premises which is a rare thing in the area. The building is newly renovated and very tastefully decorated. Room is big and clean. The owner is very nice, free coffee and croissants for breakfast.
It needs better soundproofing in the lower rooms - close to the reception desk.

This is a truly amazing place in a very good area of Bucharest. The architectural style of the building and the interiors are outstanding. You instantly feel at home, there is a clear sense of warmth related to this place. The staff pays every attention to detail and is very well-trained (I particularly liked the attitude of the lady that assists with the morning croissants and coffee in the basement area). This light breakfast is offered free of charge and includes a selection of coffee and warm pastry. This place is spotless clean, the rooms have high ceilings and are of very good size. The street is very quiet also.

Chic hotel close to coffee shops and restaurants. you can park the car in front of the hotel. Check-in was smouth and the morning receptionist was super accommodating on arrival. they provide complimentary breakfast which was greatly welcome and the lady in the kitchen was v kind and helpful.
Sadly I can't say the same for the evening receptionist who with quite rude manners told me and my friend off for talking too loud in the room at 8pm...almost as if we were teens! We were both quite apologetic and it would have been ok if not because the same evening and after he told us off he didn't stop himself from having a rather long and loud phone call for everyone to hear it. what a nonsense...

The staff was superbly nice - thank you for everything! Very welcoming and friendly - ALWAYS making all the efforts possible to make us feel comfortable and welcoming. The place is SUPERB in terms of design and refurbishment - as an Architect myself, I love it. The street is picturesque, charming, and central, zone 0, close to everything, restaurants, shops, transport links. The building has a really boutique-special charm feel to it - and it's what we were looking for. The furniture is period furniture - perfectly restored and really charming. The room is HUGE by Bucharest standards, and the AC works perfectly - cooling or heating will not be a problem. They offer a complementary breakfast in a charming dining room - very good, great tasting croissants, lovely room. *bonus: you can set-up your laptop and do some work in the dining room/ lounge, in peace and quietness.
There is no door from the lobby/ reception area - to the corridors with the rooms, and the rooms doors have no soundproofing. Unfortunately - from the room you can hear absolutely anything that happens in the main lobby. Nobody was being rude/ disrespectful/ loud - but we could hear everything unfortunately..... You may, or may not, find parking. It's really down to luck. The staff are VERY helpful and will do everything they can to help you, but there is no guarantee... Thirdly - the bathrooms ventilation is not really enough to ventilate the bathroom, and the walk-in floor-drain shower will get water everywhere, unfortunately...it looks really cool, design-wise, but with no shower door - you will really get water everywhere....

The location is perfect for me, very close to the center, easy access to any driver (Bolt, Uber). Also the place is very nice designed and the house is amazing, intimate and chic. Very quiet area and the feeling is that you are in the perfect boutique hotel.
1. They have normal doors, like the ones we all have home. So this means that you see all the light from the hall is in your rooms and also all the sounds. 2. The drain from bathroom has a very bad smell so when I was entering the room it was need it to open the windows asap. I don’t know if is something permanent or can be solved, but after refreshing the air from the room everything was ok.

Beautifully renovated art deco building in the Northern Center part of Bucharest. The room we got was huge, super fresh and tastefully decorated. The window blinds managed to make the room pitch black during the day while the AC was very effective too. The "French" breakfast was quite varied and tasty - we super enjoyed the Swedish decorations in the breakfast room downstairs. The personnel we met on premise - two ladies and one of the owners made us feel like home.
Our room was located on the ground floor just by the reception and the door, despite the obvious effort put into sound proofing, failed to dampen the mobile phone ringing (why not enabling vibration?!) and fiddling of the night shift receptionist taking place in the middle of the night. The room's windows facing the street was yet another unfortunate coincidence, as the traffic only cooled down late after midnight, eventually allowing us to maybe fall asleep. We found a big cockroach in the bathroom once we came back to the room in the late evening - not a rarity in the tropical summer nights in Bucharest - but I am sure there are means to prevent this.

I’ve stayed at 5 star resorts all over America and this is just as good. Beautiful new rooms, amazing and polite staff that treat you great, good free breakfast snack and coffee, VERY safe with key tag locked front door and gate at property, and beautiful back yard to enjoy a nice drink in. The owner and managers were amazing and very polite, waited for me and showed me everything with patients. I’ll be back every year my friends!
Not to complain about, everything was great.

- Location is good, fairly central and not far from Metro. - Room was much bigger than expected, including the bathroom. - Staff was helpful and nice. - I was able to park my car (they only have 3 spaces in their front parking so don't take it as a guarantee). - The accommodation is not big, which made it quiet and peaceful. - There is a nice terrace at the back which can be used to hang out.
- I personally found the single bed to be a bit too narrow. Besides this personal preference, nothing else was out of order.
