- Location was great, it was central & very close to town. - Staff were super friendly & always saying hello when passing by. - Parking was always easy & there was plenty of space. - Enjoyed how opened Tanoa was when bringing in island food from our local family when visiting & were always welcoming.

- Cleaning wasn’t always shot on & new towels weren’t provided daily when room was serviced & very limited. - With newer hotels/ resorts opening around Samoa, Tanoa needs some upgrading especially with their bathrooms. We Hotel hopped as we wanted to try all the new hotels in Apia for future planning & I’ll have to say Tanoa’s bathrooms & room cleaning were disappointing during my stay. - Mosquitoes were everywhere, even in the bedrooms at night. It really frustrated me on my stay. (Buy fly spray). - Lunch/ Dinner menu was very limited, felt Tanoa didn’t provide options for dinner as the menu was standard. - Overall just my little feedback, my family did enjoy our stay as we felt welcomed but just those room critics I wanted to share.

Facilities, cleanliness, location and good service.

Being asked to pay cash upfront for the room booked on booking.com and wouldn’t take my local card for payment neither! Later the bar staff tried to make us pay cash when our cc was given to the front office for any further purchases. When questioned the staff in charge then moved to call reception to check and said it was ok which should’ve been done without us customers having to press the issue!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS HOTEL!! WORTH EVERY CENT! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS AMAZING, THE HOTLE ROOM WAS SPACIOUS, AIRCON, OUR ROOM WAS CLEANED EVERY MORNING WITH OUT FAIL. THE BED WAS SOO COMFORMATBLE. I HIGHLY RECCOMMEND THIS HOTEL FOR BIG FAMILIES. THE BREAKFAST BUFFET IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST BREAKFAST BUFFET IN TOWN, THE MENU WAS DIFFERENT EACH DAY. AND THEY ALSO HAD ALOT OF CEREAL VERIETY FOR OOUR CHILDREN.

The vanila cake on the breakfast buffet menu, seemed like it was old,they had that same cake on the menu the 4 days we were there. we would have apprecited a email or some form of communication advising hotle guest to not be worried about all the policemen in the hotel.. we were sent a article from family back home worried as there was a deceased pilate found in one of the rooms during our stay there. nothing was communicated to us, would have appreciated a heads up as we had children around.

photos are accurate, nice quality facilities and location - staff are all great, the company should pay them better since they charge us tourists so much to stay there yet their staff earn under $5.00 an hour, that’s so unfair

learning how much the overseas owners profit from this motel while the local staff earn minimal income. they are the best thing about the motel, yet from what we learnt staying there are the least valued by management and owners - that’s just not on

good food

FRONT DESK STAFF VERY VERY UNEDUCATED YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE PERSON ABLE TO SPEAK ENGLISH AND BE A LIITLE AWARE OF THE AREA TRAIINING REQUIRED ENGLISH NOT SPOKEN BY STAFF BEFORE THE HOTEL WAS NOT LIKE THIS. STAFF UNABLE OR CARE HOW IMPORTANT THINGS ARE FOR TRAVELLERS YOU WILL LOSE CUSTOMERS

Really loved the pools (only wish the kids one was heated). Big clean rooms Yun buffet breakfast

Most staff were friendly and welcoming. 1 staff Rosa was quite rude to me and every family member. We would be greated with an angry face or grunt or be ignored whenever we asked for something to order or to clarify our order. It was such a shame to hear comments from her that were said in Samoan to make sure we pay incase we left without paying. We spent a lot there and often use this resort. I don't think she was aware we understood Samoan.

The pool are was very nice. It was clean and relaxing. The buffet breakfest had lots of good options.

The shower was not as clean as it could of been, our room was near the laundry so we could hear the washing machine finishing through out the whole night and staff passing by.

Hotel was very clean and tidy and air conditioners worked exceptionally well. Pool area was always clean. Staff were always prompt to assist.

Restaurant Menu for Lunch and Dinner could of been more substantial. This Hotel has alot of potential and could benefit with some Activities for Kids such as a movie night by the pool or Child water games at select hours, or a Games room. Breakfast Buffet was adequate, could of benefited with a wider selection of fresh fruits, also could incorporate Pastry items such as Croissants, Muffins, and Danishes.

Location is great. Rooms are air conditioned, spacious and comfortable - we had a garden view which was beautiful. The carvings in the undercover walkways have been highlighted in colour which look great and show off the workmanship and beauty. Pool area is cool, relaxing and well maintained. Fiafia night on Wednesday is a great addition! The food was delicious, the entertainment vibrant and good service by the staff. Parking is handy and safe. Having a Janet's store on site is great as handy for unplanned purchases and last minute gifts.

Rooms need an update (including bathroom/shower) and an injection of colour/Samoan flavour. When we arrived, the TV remote was broken and was quickly replaced (minor inconvenience but attention to detail is important). Suggest bigger size bath towels please!

The facilities were great, especially lots available for our teens including the pool and tennis courts. The room was very clean and the breakfasts included in our tariff was amazing! We found the staff were very helpful and friendly and the private tour organized through the hotel was awesome. A highlight was the cocktails at the bar - which were very nice.

We found the beds were a bit too small for two people to sleep in comfortably (I think probably double size rather than queen) and whilst the meals were nice there was a limited menu when we stayed for four days (same menu each day) - would have preferred more variation over the week.
