very close to haram only 7 mins walk, very courteous staff and good size room and amenities. they even provided me with an adapter when i asked where i could get one from. another major plus point is that there is an ATM in the lobby and you need cash in makkah. very few hotels have an ATM

The room was clean, big I a good size for two, service people, front desk, information desk ladies, concrete guys. Loved we could pray at the six floor.

The only thing we didn’t like is the Zamzam restaurant the food was not good, they need a new cook, the food toke long time to deliver.

I went for Umrah with family and the first thing I would like mention here is location wise my stay cost was recommendable. In my floor room service and cleaning was done excellent by Br. Imran and Br. Saiful - I appreciate their business during my stay.

The breakfast served wasn’t in my satisfaction level - need to improve. And my check out experience also wasn’t in satisfactory level. I called front desk that I was ready to check out but no one showed up to pick up my luggage’s and I had to come down to tell them again. The person who was carrying my luggage need to improve his quality of service.

I recently stayed at [Makarem Ajyad Makkah hotel] and had a mixed experience. What I liked: The location of the hotel was excellent, making it easy to explore the masjid Al Harram area. The cleanliness of the property was outstanding, and the cleaning staff did a fantastic job ensuring our room was spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay.

What I didn’t like: The check-in process was disappointing. It was unreasonably slow, and we had to wait a long time to get our room. Additionally, the check-in staff seemed to prioritize Arabic-speaking guests, which made the process feel unfair for others. Moreover, the price of the hotel was quite expensive, and given the issues we encountered, it didn’t feel like good value for money. Overall, while some aspects of the hotel were great, the inefficiency at the front desk and the high cost left a negative impression. I hope management takes steps to improve these issues for future guests.

Excellent reception staff, helpful and friendly. Quick check-in and check-out. The hotel is located very close to the Grand Mosque. About 5-10 minutes walk on a straight path, via pedestrianized road. The hotel is deceptively big with a large lobby that houses a pleasant seating area with a small coffee shop that serves Starbucks. The breakfast wasn't the best but had a many choices and an omelet station. The room was spacious and the beds were really comfortable. There is a barber shop for the men just below the side entrance of the hotel for convenience.

The wifi signal was intermittent in the room, though my family have android and it seemed to work well for them.

Location was very close. Only a 2-3 minute walk away from the courtyard of the masjid. Cleaning staff was very nice. The breakfast was good as well

Some parts of the bathroom were old and not cleaned properly. The staff at the front desk was also not always helpful, and sometimes dismissive.

10min walk and ABIT longer with kids to the masjidil haram. A bit further compared to the hotels near the clock tower however it's very peaceful and less crowded. Despite this, I truly enjoyed the walk to and fro Masjidil haram. You get to enjoy the busy scenes of market selling along the paths. Along the way, you can drop by Safwa for shopping and wide variety of food. If you cross over the road, across the hotel, you will find more shops along the way. There is even a local bakery and cheaper food options as you go up the hill. Hotel service is excellent, room service is top notch. Love the size of my room. 2 large queen beds were sufficient for my family of 2 adults and 3 kids (oldest 9 yr old). Musollah in the hotel is clean and beautiful, and you get to be lead by the imam Masjidil haram through the speakers. I will 100% choose to return to this hotel if I get the chance Insya Allah.

Hotel food is definitely more expensive. But it's ok because I choose to eat outside.
