The room was really massive! The staff were really friendly and helpful!
The television was very hard to work with and had to call someone to work it. Once you turned it off, it would have the same problem. The shower does leak out of the shower area but not a big problem. Maybe it was a bit rushed but there were no teabags etc. I did ask for some and they did come up and stock it. Also, the kettle was quite hard to work with as it's like a kettle unit on a base/tray. You plug in the tray.. You have to drag the whole kettle unit to find a place to plug it in. I found it under the sink-so had to move the whole thing at the edge of the sink to use the kettle. The lead was quit short for it as well. It was a limited breakfast as you have to order it from a menu. I don't think taxis readily go the the hotel and so I had to use Grab.

To be honest, I did not expect that it would exceed my expectations. It's the first time that someone would offer a drink upon check-in. The receptionist is very accommodating and approachable. Upon entering our hotel room, it was clean and well prepared already. The ac is very cold, the smell is good, the bathroom is big with a hot and cold shower plus a bathtub. The bed is big and the whole room is very spacious. Thanks to Pitchy?who arranged our room to stay. (It says on the side table of the bed). The pool area at the rooftop is very quiet and very romantic since the city view matches the perfect night after a long day of work.
Just feel a little spring on the bed but it's still comfy. Their complimentary breakfast is very nice which they would offer you a continental, American or a Filipino breakfast dish. However , unlike other hotels we stayed at, it was buffei. But here is just a one time serving. But still perfect and good. Nabusog naman kame ni partner.

The room is rather spacious and clean. Beds are comfortable. Big bathroom. There is a kettle and a fridge, a table to work on, lots of surfaces and a wardrobe to store your things. There were blankets, which is rare for Philippines. On the roof there's a pool with a sauna - the territory is very nice and provides a great view on the night city. Breakfasts are not very diversified, but hearty and tasty. All the staff is nice, friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the lady from the reception who consulted us about the public transport in the area, that was very useful at the moment. And many thanks for storing our luggage between our stays! Location is quite good - about 10 minutes from Gil puiat LRT metro station, SM supermarket and some bakery nearby.
There are very few electrical sockets. In our room only one was actually usable. In case you need an adapter - the reception will provide it. There is just one bedside stand in twin rooms with lots of stuff on it: telephone, paper for notes, smth else. We removed it all to make space and it was dusty underneath. Not so much light from the lamps in the room. We appreciated the dim and cozy atmosphere though.

This place deserves a higher rating as far as we were concerned.! Everything was just great from check in to check out. Staff from all areas of service were exceptionally friendly, helpful and courteous. This includes, reception, restaurant, and housekeeping. By the way the food in the restaurant is absolutely pure magic Location is not so bad. I use Grab and we had no problem getting to where we needed to go quickly although traffic in Manila is quite heavy at times.
There is absolutely nothing to dislike in this hotel

Clean older well maintained hotel. not really close to anything but if you want good accommodation near Makati it's a good choice. Great rooftop pool was cool but nice against the heat. the room was just fine and quite luxurious. I took the junior suite. nice restaurant and good food at very good prices. everything worked and the place itself was like a step back into the 1950s. loved the place.
hall carpeting was a bit worn in places but im sure it will be attended to soon. other than that...not 1 word of complaint.

🙂 the manager upgraded our room We enjoyed our stay we also celebrated mothers day in advance...the manager also change our floors room so it would be closer to the other room in 4th flr ( my mom and niece room) which is 4th floor... We also enjoyed the pool breakfast is okay...breakfast is included in the room rate.. Thank you for the assistance...❤️ Appreciation post for the guards and receptionist...who assisted us during our stay...thank you
☹️ no decent parking for vehicles No hair blower... No slippers in our room the one that was upgraded...tv channels not complete...u need to ask for assistance since some of the channels on blue screen.. Room service is poor ...bed in our room is not comfortable Next time maybe we will just ask for a twin bed instead of the king or queen size bed...

The staff are excellent, respectful, very smart especially those at the resto, reception, security servicemen and cleaning service men. Serve us a welcome drinks upon arrival and newspaper is always updated. Room is at a good size, clean and cool upon arrival.
The old carpet on the corridor have a bad smell. The on going construction of the road makes us hard to embark and disembark from the taxi. Although this is not in their control but makes it hard for holiday goers with there luggages. Room a bit dim.

Property is very clean, room is excellent. There are staff available downstairs 24/7 and they are very friendly. The breakfast service was the best I’ve had - quick service and great choices. A very safe, clean and comfortable stay.
Only slight issue with the hotel is if you’re walking to explore the area it’s not too near things to do. Most tv channels are locked out in the room.

All was very good except that the Fitness studio was still not ready to use after reparation! The outdoor pool on the top of the building is BIG and super nice and clean! Amazing place! You have also access to a very good SAUNA! Breakfast restaurant has several variety of good dishes! The staaf in reception, Bellman and restaurant have a very friendly and nice behavior to us as guests! This popular hotel is my favorite hotel in Manila!
I look forward to return to Herald Suite Solana but the the fitness studio must be reopen again!
