The value of a place is as high as the people who manage it. In this light I would like to say that the manager and the front desk people have done everything to make our stay perfectly. The hotel is recently renovated and it looks very nice. Also the view is incredible. Breakfast included almost everything (it would have been perfect if they had vegetables also). You can buy the skipass from the reception and also the recomand a ski rental place where you have a discount. I strongly recomand having dinner at the hotel’s restaurant because is fabulous.

The shuttle service provided by the hotel in the mornings and afternoons was excellent, friendly & efficient. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were friendly & helpful. We had one evening meal in the hotel which was very good. Breakfasts were ok & plentiful but nothing special (huge choice of sweet foods but limited on savoury).

Booking says it is 400 meters from lift, but it not in practice. Impractical to Walk. They do have a shuttle service for the ski lifts and a ski room The hotel sell ski passes but you should be aware it is ONLY for the Italian side of the ski slopes. If you want to ski in the french side it is extra and no one told us at the desk

All of the hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room size was well fit for two people, the bed was large and comfortable and there was decent storage space for all ski clothes and equipment. There was also a ski room in the basement, which had boot driers. Free parking was available in front of the hotel and we never had any issues finding a spot for a large car. The hotel also offered heated secure parking on its premises for 15 Euro per night, which might be useful if you have a diesel car and outside is really cold. The open buffet for breakfast had decent variety and was very useful for providing the necessary energy for the ski day. The dinner was a combination of open buffet and two cooked courses which could be selected from a list of choices. The food was plenty and very good. I recommend selecting the half board option because the dinner is just great. The hotel was placed in a quiet location and was 10 minutes away walking in ski boots and skis on shoulder from the slope. It also provided a free shuttle service to the ski lift for which we did not wait more than 15 minutes any day.

It was very warm in the room and we could not turn down the heating, but cracking open the window helped. The shower had no holder for soap. The breakfast could have had a bit more vegetables.

I really enjoyed this lodge - the size I prefer, nice decor, a great quality facility. There is a morning and evening shuttle to the central ski lift area, though I preferred to walk. Beautiful view of Sestriere, even if slightly out of the center. Quiet. Nice bar and restaurant areas. Helpful staff.

I would have liked to have them switch out the breakfast buffet a bit more - change up the offerings each day. Still, quality was high. They need more than one coffee-making machine because at "rush hour" everyone wants it.

The hotel definitely exceeded our expectations. Would definitely come back! All common areas are new and give a modern mountain feeling. The rooms are large and you can adjust the temperature as you wish. The view from the room is directly on the slopes and is just amazing! Breakfast is way above average, with a large selection of sweet and savoury food. There is also a bar within the hotel where I think they do aperitivos and pints at night (even though we didn't use it). The location is just perfect. It's at the beginning of the town, in case you want to come back from the slopes on foot (e.g. if you're attending the apres-ski at La Gargotte), but most times you won't need to cause there's a very handy shuttle that drops you off at the beginning of the slopes and picks you up when you're back. There's also a large ski room that you can reach very comfortably both form the garage and directly from your room with the elevator. The town in very small so if it's not too cold you can easily walk anywhere. Finally, you can buy ski passes directly at the hotel reception and I believe there are ski instructors coming to the hotel every now and then in case you need them!

Only MINOR thing: there's no closed wardrobe, but only open shelves and hangers.

A bit of an uphill walk to town , it’s not just up the road. But if you are not in a hurry not so bad ! Coffee set up in room was a bit amateurish, and breakfast was only available from 7h30 so you couldn’t go down stairs and fetch proper coffee

Delicious breakfast, spacious room with the best view of the mountains, very clean and aligned to what we paid. the staff was always smiley and very polite! We will be back

You easily could hear the noises coming from the other rooms and from the lobby Also Coming that the hotel is animal friendly, It would have been nice if in the room could find a dog bed/ rug and a bowl for the food/ water as we paid 10€ extra
