Good location, a touch far from the lifts but had shops to walk past. Spacious and clean apartment

Had to leave kitchen spotless unless fined 70e for it, but then had to go and buy cleaning supplies in order to do so. One very small bin for the apartment was a bit annoying too. With the cleaning fee, it should be included in the price of the stay, even if you have to put total for stay 1300e (1200 payable on card now then 100 upon arrival). A bit annoying having to pay a sum then we had to drop another 100e on arrival

Elena the host was very welcoming and helpful, some things were missing from our apartment and she provided them with no issues (although we would have preferred not to ask). The apartment itself was stunning, with views of the mountains and perfect for a group of friends like us

little privacy in the rooms (we enjoyed the conviviality, but some might not like) we didn't find some amenities as listed on booking (eg hair dryer, coffee machine, etc)

The place is great, we had a spacious apartment for 5 people, sufficient space and closets for everyone. The kitchen is very well equipped. The host Elena is amazing, she is always available to help with any issues.

Elena, the host, was excellent at communicating before and during our stay. The apartment was comfortable, spacious, well-equipped and clean. Once we left our skis at the rental company’s (Marcellin, also highly recommend!) on-piste storage, it was a short walk through Sestriere back to Chalet Edelweiss. Would definitely recommend this accommodation to couples, friends & families alike!

The room was very warm but the heat is adjustable so we were easily able to turn it off & was not a problem :)

Host was very kind and welcoming. Also helped us out a lot during the trip with organising restaurant bookings and taxis for us

Basics missing such as salt, pepper, sugar and oil. No Tea Towel either.

The apartment is amazing and spacious…it was warm and comfortable, we had more than enough space for our group of 7 people. We had picturesque views from our balcony… The location is great, less than 10minutes walk into the centre and around 15min for the ski resort… But I feel the best part about our stay was the amazing and most helpful and welcoming host Elena… We will definitely want to come back again…

Great value, warm, comfy, spacious, unpretentious apartment, which we booked very last minute. Great view of the mountains. Lovely and clean. Good kitchen facilities, nice warm shower, well-equipped. Free parking nearby. A 5 minute walk to the ski slopes (but Sestriere has a great system where you leave skis and boots at the slopes and walk back and forth in your ordinary shoes). Elena, the manager, was lovely and extremely helpful. British Airways cancelled our flight on the way home and we were allowed to stay in the apartment until our much later flight - ' no problem at all'. Would definitely return.

Not much. Only small criticism would be wifi was a little patchy when everyone was back home after skiing; one of rings on the hob was broken. Fan in the bathroom also didn't seem to work. It's not a 5 star luxury apartment but if you want a comfortable, functional family apartment, which is excellent value, this could be for you.

Very spacious, bright apartment with a mountain view. Very clean. Nice bedding, comfy beds, big wardrobe, termostat to regulate the temperature in the apartment.10% discount and at the ski rental (rent and go) with heated lockers. Elena at the reception very nice and helpful. Free public parking 50meters from property, we didn't use our car for the whole week, walking distance from everywhere, 10 min walk to the slopes. Great value for money, we had a fabulous stay in Sestriere and we'd come back to Chalet Edelweiss.

No ventilation, no windows that you could keep opened, just big balcony doors, becomes very hot in the night. No dishwasher tablets provided. No big supermarket in the village so best to bring your supplies. There is a microwave, cooker and oven but would be nice to have a kettle or toaster. Sockets not by the bed so bringing an extension lead or two would be a good idea.

Ski lockers by the slopes meant we didn’t have to carry our skis very far. Apartment very clean.

There wasn’t a kettle. We did ask for one but didn’t get one. The cups were tiny so we had to buy our own mugs. There was only a very small saucepan and a huge one. Very few plates, cutlery, no bread board etc. Given that there is an oven and dishwasher, the apartment is perfect for self catering but unfortunately not enough pans etc. to do the cooking.
