Good location, near restaurants, major roads, close to the center of town. The front desk staff were super friendly and responsive to our needs. The breakfast and coffee was decent (although we are not big breakfast eaters). The room and facilities were exceptionally clean and well maintained. Everything (TV, thermostat, blinds, shower, etc) worked perfectly. The laundry room and fitness center were nice extras. We loved the minimalist style of our room: it's both relaxing and easy to keep track of our travel clothing and accessories. The view from our window was nice. The bedding and pillows were very good. We enjoyed a nice selection of programming on the TV.

The only negative to our short stay was loud noises coming from nearby rooms. SInce there is no carpet in the guestrooms (which we really like), noise travels easily from nearby rooms to our room. We were awakened at 6AM sharp by some sharp "rapping" noises from the room above us. As near as we could tell, the noise was not from housekeeping or the maintenance staff. It was probably coming from a child or pet in the adjacent suites. Other than that, it was a very nice stay.

Our room was super clean, comfy and roomy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also good. I stayed at this hotel right after it opened several years ago and didn’t expect it would be as nice as it was new but it was just as nice. Everything was great!

Only issue was we took our kids to swim in the pool and the thermostat was set very low and the pool room was just so cold. We went in January though so it may just be hard to heat when it’s so cold out.

Very comfortable room with pleasant surroundings. Liked sitting in lobby working on computer or reading. Had several different areas to choose from. Nice laundry facilities. It was our first time staying at a Tru property but we will choose Tru again.

This is minor but we weren’t a fan of the soap & shampoo dispensers. Had trouble connecting to Wi-Fi and we weren’t the only ones but they were able to help at the front desk.

Plenty for the family to do from the pool, pool table and other board games. The staff was absolutely fantastic and tolerant of the kids and our large family. Very clean and comfortable!

The pancake machine was down on our first day, and I was really hoping for a hot tub.

Breakfast was good and I enjoyed seeing the actual cook checking the appearance of the buffet.

Even though I know before I book that there are no coffee machines in the rooms, I still wish there were when I wake up in the morning…..

Got double charged because of booking.com and it ruined the travel plans of the next upcoming days

The hotel was clean and modern, super cool looking. The staff was amazing and the room itself was very clean. We didn't bring a pet with us, but I love how many people had their pups with them. The outside lounge area and the game room was awesome for our family!

The only thing I wish would have been different is the room had been a little bigger. I thought we had reserved a room with a lounge area- like a couch and chair and whatnot- and two beds. We were in town for a Strongman competition (it's super close to a Strongman gym and the venue where the competition was held) and fitting a heavyweight strongman and his strongman wife and two kids in a small space is a challenge. Plus, there was no table to eat, so we ordered food and had to sit in bed to eat. The room was clean and nice, just a little on the small side. We own a Strongman gym in Colorado Springs, and if we had athletes going to Cheyenne, we would recommend this hotel with that side note.

It feels new! The staff was friendly!

It was not much the hotel could do about it directly, but the parking lot had a ton of trucks with trailers parked sideways taking up five to six spots each. Same with a Uhaul. The bathroom corners need a little more focus when being cleansed because there was a build up of dirt in the corners.

The staff was great, location was so clean and had everything we needed it was a short trip this time but we will be back.

There was not a single thing I didn't like

the breakfast and the room was great. I wanted to go out to eat but my old car wouldn't start until the next morning so I had to call ubereats for food. It would be nice if a restaurant was close or there was one inside the hotel.
