Loved it. Simple as. Check in about 4pm to be greatest by the owners whom are just so sweet and kind! Friendly banter and questions making you feel important and cared for so you're not so much a customer but a friend. I'd booked a single room for one night (August last year I believe) for my cousins wedding beautiful room and that's what I was anticipating however I'd come to find out I'd been bumped up in the time that passed only making me feel more comfortable and important when I'd arrived only to be bumped up once again just beautiful I have a nice smile and seemed friendly. They are unbelievably kind and helpful. The husband even carried my suitcase up to my room (didn't know hotels and that still did that) and explained everything. Highly recommend. It was a beautiful experience. The room I'd stayed in ended up being a four-poster bed in a beautiful pink top and covers with a plush sofa at the foot of the bed (also pink!) with two bedside tables. The room had a beautiful wall high wardrobe covered in a mirror with plenty of space inside and extra draws. There was a desk in the right corner of the room with a pink plush seat and a TV on top with another big mirror behind along with a hairdryer on the wall. Two windows one out looking at the carpark the other out looking the street. Just beautiful. With pink hanging curtains that really tied the room together and along with a standing fan for those warm nights to be topped off with a chandelier light on the ceiling that made it feel luxurious and homey. I walked in to feel like I'd belonged. It was instant comfort and peace. The bathroom was decent sized with ofc a toilet and sink with a cute mirror and little shelf under said mirror for some soaps with two holders at each ends I believe for a glass to fill with water to either swill your mouth out with after brushing your teeth or to clean the sink off when you spit. The bathroom I was given had a bathtub. A bathtub.

The hotel is very nice and attractive, situated right in the centre of Bridgenorth, the staff were all very nice and helpful. The room was nice and clean too. They were also very helpful with dietary requests.
there was no shower or hot water. For one night this was ok as I had showered before I set off. but would have been very disappointed had I been staying longer. I did not mention this at the hotel, but feel they would have been very helpful if I had spoken with them. but we only stayed one night. They don't have a restaurant, but there was a good selection nearby.

The hotel, room and dining room were exceptional, lovely, clean, bright, and interesting. Breakfast was as expected menu wise, served quickly, hot and very tasty. Staff cheerful, friendly and helpful.
Only thing I found strange and awkward, was that they do not serve evening meals. I did not appreciate this when booking and means guests have to go out and make other arrangements. Fine if there are two or more but difficult for just one. A great pity as they have such a wonderful dining room.

The warm welcome received from staff on my arrival. The room was clean and tidy and very comfortable and very peaceful with no noise from traffic. Breakfast was very welcome and the location of the hotel was great to explore the town. The staff kindly sorted out carparking for me with a voucher for the Co-op so it is good to know that car parking is always available.
The ensuite bathroom was rather snug but adequate thank you. Apart from that - nothing to report

A lovely hotel in a great location for Bridgnorth (lower town). The hotel bar and lounge area is very nice and the Breakfast room has lovely views out into the garden. The room was warm but not overbearing and there were windows which we could open fully which was nice. The Complimentary tray had some very nice biscuits and a decent selection of teas and coffee. The room shape was unusual which we liked and the bedding was of good quality. The towels were in good supply and were fresh and fluffy. The lighting was good in the room also.
The Bathroom door was a little sticky and hard to open. The Breakfast Buffet was cold.

The Hotel was how described. It was an old worldly antique hotel, with lots of character. This hotel will not suit everyone. The pictures were outstanding and it was like being put in a Time Machine, but I enjoy the old school and authenticity. The hotel was clean and quiet and the staff were friendly and happy to help. The bar area was outstanding, perfect after exploring the outdoors. The comfy red chairs with the heating on just made you feel right at home.

I have stayed here before and it was just as good this time round. If you're looking for somewhere that you just stare at blank grey walls this is not the place for you! I love coming in and collapsing into a huge leather chair with a drink and looking at all the paintings and pictures. The garden is fabulous!
Bathroom was chilly!

the building is large, with very nice bar & reception area. The old house has been modernised & is decorated well with attractive artworks. There is also a large attractive garden. Parking is excellent & location in town is most convenient.
The breakfast was basic - self service - good choice of cereals, but the cooked items were limited in choice.
