The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean, the beds were confortable. We could get a good night sleep. The area was pretty quiet and just across the street there was a fast food stand. The food was fresh and tasty. The free gated parking was a big plus. The breakfast was also fresh. There was not a lot of variety, but the food was good. You had your tipical choice of eggs, ham, cheese and jams. We only stayed for one night, but I can imagine myself staying a little bit longer. The price was for todays standards very good - about 125 Euros for a room with 4 beds and breakfast.

A modern look would do the place a little good.

Breakfast is a solid start to the day, though you may occasionally need to wait for basic items to be replenished. Keep in mind that if you leave the window open, it can be a bit noisy.

Property was in a very good location. Also it was clean. Room was a little small but it was okay. Food was very good. We had a breakfast.

The girl at the recepstion was very arrogant. She ignored us without a reason so we could not be free to ask her questions about city. The woman that works at the restaurant was so kind. She was very friendly and caring.

We booked the room for one night, on our way to Italy, and it met our expectations. The parking spot was well situated in the hotel yard, and we really enjoyed breakfast. It was just what we needed to get the energy to continue our journey.

We had an issue with heating, but staff assisted us with additional heater. Facilities in the bathroom should be better since water was leaking from somewhere, but it wasn't a big issue.

We had 2 rooms, the first was a room for one person, and in the second room we had a suite with 2 rooms for 4 people. With one bathroom. The hotel has free parking and is a few minutes car ride from the center.

One of the rooms in the suite is a bit small and is more suitable for children than adults.

More of a slight inconvenience than a dislike. Breakfast was limited to 7-8 due to renovations so I only had breakfast the first morning. The last day we left early so the hotel prepared a lunch package which was wonderful

Our room wasn't big, but clean and convenient enough for three people, with a good bath amenities and amazing view to the hills. The staff was friendly and helpful and breakfasts were excellent. There is a large private parking on the site at no additional costs, also many restaurants are located close to the hotel.

It would be great to provide guests with additional cardkey.

no electrical sockets next to bed no remote control for air condition(just on -off) pillows not so comfy... the door of our room was difficult to close open (1st floor) so it was noisy

We stay just 1 night for the sleepover on our way, so didn't have much opportunity to explore the city. Next time we stay longer, not just to see more of Slovenia, but to have more of the Hotel Tabor breakfast. The breakfast was amazing (for me), it reminded me times at my granny's. All the employees are friendly and making you feel comfortable (I prefer individual approach over the big chain hotels, where there are polite, but nobody actually cares).

We found our room a bit smaller than on the picture. But we all fit in, also with dog and dog cage, so no issue at all.
